This storyboard outlines the opening scenes of a film about a zombie apocalypse. It begins with a news report of people being told to stay indoors for rescue as things become more panicked. The title "The Dead Returning" appears in red letters against a fuzzy screen. It then shows a couple watching a movie who receive a distressing phone call before finding themselves in a bloody car trying to escape a zombie attack. The storyboard cuts between different characters and times throughout the opening to build mystery and tension before the outbreak.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

The Art Pastor's Guide to Sabbath | Steve ThomasonSteve Thomason
What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
MARUTI SUZUKI- A Successful Joint Venture in India.pptx
Storyboard.
1. Story board.
When drafting our story boards we did many story boards so that our end product helped us film our
film opening. When first doing our ruff story board we used sticky notes so that we could edit the
storyboard as we went along.
These are our first drafts that we then developed so that our drawings linked with both the sounds
and script.
2. This is our final story board. We think that it is effective and will help us plan and both film our
movie opening.
Firstly we picked to use a mid-shot of a TV screen and news reporter sat at a desk he will seem
distressed and scared of things around him. The TV reporter will start in a calm collected way and
say ‘stay indoors, doesn’t leave. And wait for rescue I repeat, wait for re scue’… Towards the end the
news reporter will become more panicked and we will be able to hear this in his voice. This will give
enigma to the opening of our movie leaving the audience asking questions about what has
happened and why people need to wait for rescue.
3. Within the next few moments the screen will go fuzzy and lose focus this is when the title will
appear. ‘The Dead Returning’ this will be in a bold font in blood red to connote the bloodshed and
terror within the movie and its opening. The fuzzy screen connotes the loss of control and
civilisation. The sounds in this scene will be the fuzzing of the screen and also sounds to emphasis
the title appearing.
Secondly the shot is a couple sat on a sofa cuddled up with duvets they appear to be watching a
movie and cuddling up. The house is a normal house and the people appear to be young adults.
There is also light music in the back ground that is calming.
The shot then is a close up of the arm of a chair where a phone begins to ring the scre en shows that
the caller is there farther and it vibrates. And the couple have a brief conversation. The screen then
splits so that both sides of the conversation can be seen a short conversation takes place between
daughter and farther.
4. Next the screen goes fuzzy as if a flash bang takes place and a high pitch beep sounds this shows the
ciaos that takes place the next shot is the couple in a car covered in blood panicking. There is a lot of
distress the couple have a conversation.
5. The couple start up the car with a close up of the key in the ignition. Then appears a zombie farther
who tries to attack them through the glass. There is lots of screams and tremor. The car then
screeches of with the undead farther chasing them.
6. Again the screen flash bangs and we see a garden with a teenage girl playing with a young girl. They
play and laugh. This will include close upshots of smiles and the girls playing and mid shots of the
little girl going down a slide in slow motion. This will include a natural conversat ion.
Another flash bang takes place to show the chaos and change in time. The white screen will fade to
black where heavy breathing takes place and no clarity of picture.
7. A touch light comes on to see a face in the darkness it is the teenage girl who is sat in a cupboard she
is dirty and sweaty like she is panicked. This includes close up shots of blood covering her face and
sweat. She then starts to eat dog food and cries. We will also see the cupboard in detail with
blankets on the floor to show her bed then finally a flash bang will take place to highlight a new
person’s life.
8. There is a close up of a conversation on a phone where someone tries to make a conversation but
appears to be being bullied. This then cuts to the person holding the phone that a teenage boy is
holding a phone he then throws it at his bed in tears. Again a flash bang takes place the screen goes
white and clarity reappears where the boy is stood in a disturbed and deserted street he appears to
have weapons on him and zombies are around him he looks behind he see something in his gaze
(close up shot) he then beings to run this is a tracking shot. Music starts to play.
9.
10. Overall my storyboard help us create our opening so that we could understand what was happening
and at what time it also helped me understand what shots we should use effectively to create the
best movie opening.
