3. The video opens with lots of little videos, this
plays within the first 7 seconds.

4. In this little video the shot the same but the people are sped up,
this is used again with cars at the beginning of the video.

5. The traffic was sped up but the people in the
background were normal speed.

and boy in, every now and then it
changes to the band singing. The cuts
are quite fast between each of the
scenes and in time with the beat of the
music, this goes with the rock tone.

The scene will open with a
wide shot of video tapes
hanging from the roof, try to
hide the string so would use
a less distinctive colour. It will
then slowly zoom in to our
character who will be sat on
the chair in the middle of
the room. It will go closer to
her face and then when the
beat drops her eyes will
open and shell be staring
right into the camera.

18. 0.10-0.20
As the music speeds up the
person would be running
through the woods, there
will be different shots of her
running and from different
angles.

19. 0.20-0.40
Pulling down the video
tapes one by one. It’ll flicker
to her running through the
woods and the video of
instruments. Ends with her
sat in the middle of the
room with tapes all around
her. It'll go from a close up
of her face to a wide shot of
the room.

20. Throughout whole video
Cover a pair of drumsticks
and the strings on a guitar
with glow in the dark paint
and have people play the
instruments. This would be
played in small clips/quick
cuts in between the longer
videos so that it follows the
conventions of a normal
rock video.

21. 0.40-1.02
First time the chorus starts, it'll
open with a mid shot from
her hips upwards with
powder paint thrown into
her face/hair. Then receive
the powder being thrown at
her throughout the length of
the chorus all over her body.

Jellyfish swimming, this links
to their album cover. The
dark background also
matches rock music videos.

Have ink pouring into a cup,
this could be slowed down
or sped up. Will use dark
colours to match what
people expected to see in
music videos (from
questionnaire).

The person will be tied to a
chair, and trying to get free,
this image will then be
flipped to show she's defying
gravity.

A video from the point of
view of the person, of them
travelling on a train.

person as if she is going to
jump off into water.

Fast flashing lights from a fair
ground ride. This matching
to the horror element that
rock videos have because
the viewer cant make out
what is happening in the
video.

When the lyrics say “if we let
go”, the berries get thrown
into the air.
Throw berries/leafs up in the
air and film the person stood
with them falling on them.
Then goes to them stomping
onto the berries. Then goes
to a graphic match of her
stomping onto the video
tapes

The video tapes from the
opening scene will be on
the floor around her, just as
the berries where (graphic
match) and then shell start
smashing them up with her
feet.

Have the instruments
playing when it is just
instrumental. Along with hair
flicks with powder in so that
the powder flicks, at 2.45.

Ends with the person
blowing glitter into the
camera as the music slowly
fades out, it'll also fade to
black as this happens.
