YouTube is one of the most popular video-sharing platforms online and is watched by people all over the world. Have you ever dreamed of starting a YouTube channel of your own but not sure where to start? Are you worried about a lack of funds or equipment? In this class, we will explore how to start a YouTube channel with the technology you already have on hand. We will talk about how to set up your channel and how to manage expectations. We will explore best practices for filming and posting videos. We will also look at different editing and sharing possibilities. This workshop is for those just beginning a channel and those who want to improve their channel. Presenter: Rachel Eichen has over 10 years of in-person and remote teaching experience in a variety of industries including: casinos, financial institutions, restaurants, hospitals, and libraries. She even taught computer classes on a cruise ship! In a former life, she was a technical writer. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science and a bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing. She currently lives just outside of Las Vegas and works for the casino industry.
