Installation of Tiltrotator and gripper function
The below example shows the retrofitting of a gripper function in which a tiltrotator is also used.
The volume flow is take from a section of the backhoe hydraulics provided for this. Thus, the structu
re for Open and Closed Center systems suggested here is applicable. With activation of one of the fu
nctions, the main control valve switches and the flow is sent to the directional valve with flow control
function 1 and to tiltrotator 2. The not needed flow is fed to the tank via an input pressure compens
ator on tiltrotator valve 2. So that the valve 1 can thus also work with higher load pressures, the loa
d pressure must be reported to the input pressure compensator of the valve 2 via an LS line. Openin
g/closing, tilting and rotating can be performed independently of each other and independently of th
e load pressure.
