Good afternoon. Our names are Polina and Daria, we are studying at college of hospitality “Tsaritsyno” on the 4th
year(specialty restaurant manager). We have chosen this way because we have many ideas how to change the
restaurant industry and improve service.
Our profession gives the opportunity for promotion and development. Training in Mariott Aurora and Renessanas
Monarch hotels has given us extensive experience and professional knowledge. We have also made a lot of good
friends in the restaurant industry.
Our philosophy : love what you
do and do what you love!
The profession of restaurant
manager appeared in the
20th century.
To become a restaurant
manager you need to gain
some experience and have
organizing skills - all
restaurant managers used to
be waiters or barmen in the
past.
A manager is a person
who should know a lot of
sciences as a
Economy
Marketing
Sociology
Psychology
Communication
Nowadays a profession of manager is very
demanded and job market offers a great choice
of jobs for managers in different fields of life.
There is restaurant, sport, hotel management,
public or marketing management and store
management.

Restaurant manager
Usually people follow their wishes and if
you want to work as a manager, you have
all chances.
Manager training takes place in
educational establishments, where you
will have 2 parts of education: theory and
practice.
A manager should be full of
fun, enthusiasm, vital energy
positive willingness to help,
sense of responsibility, good
nature and have organizing
and leading skills.
He should be firm and fair but at
the same time have working
experience and professional
knowledge.
Being a manager means being
active, initiative and ready
for changes. Also it is
opportunity to improve
foreign languages and to meet
new useful connections.

  • 2. Good afternoon. Our names are Polina and Daria, we are studying at college of hospitality “Tsaritsyno” on the 4th year(specialty restaurant manager). We have chosen this way because we have many ideas how to change the restaurant industry and improve service. Our profession gives the opportunity for promotion and development. Training in Mariott Aurora and Renessanas Monarch hotels has given us extensive experience and professional knowledge. We have also made a lot of good friends in the restaurant industry.
