LOGO
The lotus flower grows from the bottom of streams and muddy ponds to rise
above the water and bloom. It symbolically represents being fully grounded in
earth, yet aspiring towards the divine. The lotus flower is an iconic symbolism of
purity because it lives in the muddy water yet remains unsoiled. That’s why we
choose lotus to be our symbol that expresses our inspirations and desires: we want
to help you avoid pollution environment like poisoning food by not only fresh
meals but also “green” space in our restaurant. Let us get you out of the “muddy”.
MISSION STATEMENT
1. Who are we?
Lotus - one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City -
with great founders from Class 12BSM2 delivers best quality food in an
efficient manner. Our management team will create a close relationship
between our customers and employees.
2. Why are we unique?
With the senior chef and professional staffs, we are committed to
serve a variety of vegetarian food to exceed our customers’ expectations in
great food, and fast, friendly service and healthy and exciting eating
experiences.
3. Who are our customers?
We are really happy to serve anyone who likes to enjoy delicious and
nutritional meal as well as get the attention by our style and warm
hospitality.
CODE OF ETHICS
1. Food:
We ensures to use the ingredients with the highest standards of
quality, freshness from approved food processing plants and combine both
modern creative and traditional style of cooking to serve customer healthy
and nutritional food.
2. Customers
Customers stand on a head of our restaurant. We provide not only
professional service but also friendly environment and behave equally with
all our customer all race, religion, and sex or national origin.
3. Employees
We treat all employees fairly with respect and always improve
knowledge, education experience and motivation for all employees in order
to do their duties with higher standards. We also give employee equal
opportunities to carry out their duties, and the most importance is guarantee
health and safety on the job.
4. Community
In every year, we use 5 percent of profit to do charity for orphan home or
pagoda and hospital that houses orphans and homeless elderly people.
Moreover, we are willing to help the one who would to work for our
restaurant.
5. Natural Environment
We use recycled or recyclable to-go containers to avoid the Styrofoam
containers in favor of cardboard containers, which can be recycled or will
biodegrade, and motion-activated lighting, dual-flush toilets, energy-efficient
hand dryers instead of paper towels. Especially, we always obey the waste
classification procedure.
ACTION PLAN

- We cannot please all of our customers’ taste.
3. How am I going to solve this problem?
- Adjust the order depend upon customers’ personality.
- Investigate customers’ opinions following 2 ways:
 Directive way: ask customers after meals.
 Non-directive way: surveys
- Attempt to meet customers’ needs when ordered.
- Often renew the menu.

Job title: Marketing Manager

Salary range: $1,500 – $2,000
Job Summary:
To plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and
develop sales of Lotus’s food ranges to major accounts and partners, in accordance
with agreed business plans.
Relationships: Able to communicate and motivate via written media. Understands
the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market
sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling,
costper response, costper conversion, etc. Appreciates need for consistency within
company's branding and marketing mix, especially PR and the Internet. Experience
of managing marketing agency activities useful
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.
2. Plan and carry out direct marketing activities (principally direct mail) to
agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
3. Develop ideas and create offers for direct mail and marketing to major
accounts by main market sector and Lotus's products.
4. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal
visits.
5. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned
individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
6. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant
management information.
7. Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
8. Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct
marketing and sales reporting purposes.
9. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to
perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
10.Manage the external marketing agency activities of telemarketing and
research.
11.Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Education:
 Qualification in an industry-related field and/or a general business degree
 A bachelor’s degree or higher
Job specification: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear
focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically
assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with
senior big company executives, reliable, tolerant, and determined, empathic
communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view, well
presented and businesslike, keen for new experience, responsibility and
accountability and able to get on with others and be a team-player.
Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2010 or later, particularly
Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar database to basic level, Internet and
email.
Mathematical skills: Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic
business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation,
capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc. must be a very
competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals.
Working Conditions:
 Usually work regular business hours, although those doing
fundraising may work weekends or evenings, as events are often held at
these times
 Spend most of their time working in offices
 May travel nationally to visit other branches of the company
Management Ability: Though internal staff management is not initially part of the
job, responsibility and opportunity could grow with the development of the
business, for example the prospect of recruiting and managing support telesales
staff. Some people-management skills, experience and natural ability will be
useful.

  • 2. LOGO The lotus flower grows from the bottom of streams and muddy ponds to rise above the water and bloom. It symbolically represents being fully grounded in earth, yet aspiring towards the divine. The lotus flower is an iconic symbolism of purity because it lives in the muddy water yet remains unsoiled. That’s why we choose lotus to be our symbol that expresses our inspirations and desires: we want to help you avoid pollution environment like poisoning food by not only fresh meals but also “green” space in our restaurant. Let us get you out of the “muddy”.
  • 3. MISSION STATEMENT 1. Who are we? Lotus - one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City - with great founders from Class 12BSM2 delivers best quality food in an efficient manner. Our management team will create a close relationship between our customers and employees. 2. Why are we unique? With the senior chef and professional staffs, we are committed to serve a variety of vegetarian food to exceed our customers’ expectations in great food, and fast, friendly service and healthy and exciting eating experiences. 3. Who are our customers? We are really happy to serve anyone who likes to enjoy delicious and nutritional meal as well as get the attention by our style and warm hospitality.
  • 4. CODE OF ETHICS 1. Food: We ensures to use the ingredients with the highest standards of quality, freshness from approved food processing plants and combine both modern creative and traditional style of cooking to serve customer healthy and nutritional food. 2. Customers Customers stand on a head of our restaurant. We provide not only professional service but also friendly environment and behave equally with all our customer all race, religion, and sex or national origin. 3. Employees We treat all employees fairly with respect and always improve knowledge, education experience and motivation for all employees in order to do their duties with higher standards. We also give employee equal opportunities to carry out their duties, and the most importance is guarantee health and safety on the job. 4. Community In every year, we use 5 percent of profit to do charity for orphan home or pagoda and hospital that houses orphans and homeless elderly people. Moreover, we are willing to help the one who would to work for our restaurant. 5. Natural Environment We use recycled or recyclable to-go containers to avoid the Styrofoam containers in favor of cardboard containers, which can be recycled or will biodegrade, and motion-activated lighting, dual-flush toilets, energy-efficient hand dryers instead of paper towels. Especially, we always obey the waste classification procedure.

JOB DESCRIPTION Job identification: Job title: Marketing Manager Job status: Non-exempt Date: May 20th, 2014 Who approved job description: Human Resource Department Salary range: $1,500 – $2,000 Job Summary: To plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of Lotus’s food ranges to major accounts and partners, in accordance with agreed business plans. Relationships: Able to communicate and motivate via written media. Understands the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling, costper response, costper conversion, etc. Appreciates need for consistency within company's branding and marketing mix, especially PR and the Internet. Experience of managing marketing agency activities useful Responsibilities & Duties: 1. Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database. 2. Plan and carry out direct marketing activities (principally direct mail) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales. 3. Develop ideas and create offers for direct mail and marketing to major accounts by main market sector and Lotus's products. 4. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits. 5. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
