This document summarizes the experimental generation of squeezed light at 852 nm, which is the wavelength of the Cesium D2 line. The researchers generated over 3 dB of noise reduction down to frequencies of 25 kHz using a below-threshold doubly resonant optical parametric oscillator with a periodically-poled KTP crystal. This squeezed light at the Cesium D2 line wavelength can be directly used for quantum networking applications with Cesium atomic ensembles.
