Goodwill Truly Good Research Paper
Is Goodwill Truly Good? Goodwill originated in 1902 in Boston by a Methodist minister named Rev.
Edgar J. Helms. He went to higher end cities and collected used goods. Then, he would take these
goods and repair them so he could resell or give these items to the less fortunate. He also trained poor
individuals to repair and offered them jobs. This was the start of his motto, a hand up, not a hand
down. Dr. Helms stated that Goodwill is an industrial program as well as a social service enterprise...a
provider of employment, training and rehabilitation for people of limited employability, and a source
of temporary assistance for individuals whose resources were depleted. Goodwill has nearly 2,500
retail stores that offered job training and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

they powered their own donation movement. Goodwill has gone above and beyond; they have really

Role Of Women In Rigveda
Though women were suppressed from the ancient period, whenever there was a possibility they have
raised their voice and asked their rights. The best example is that the conversation between Yama and
Yami. Yami expressed her physical desire over her brother Yama however, he refused her opinion. It
shows that women had freedom to express her feelings and opinion in the family. In Rigveda some of
the Rishikas name mentioned are Aditi, Indramatalu, Indrani, Urvasi, Ghosa, Juhu, Bharadvaja, Ratri,
Surya,Viswavara etc. Among those women, Viswavara and Ghosa were considered as historical
characters. It gives an idea about that some of the Rishika were fighting for their place and identity in
the society. Then also, the brahminical tradition repressed the voice of women. At the outset Hindu
Brahmanical tradition denied women the right to asceticism. On the other hand, after many centuries,

The Shaiva devoted couple Sumati and Nirmalashetti had no children for long time. After visiting
several Shaiva temples, sumati was conceived and delivered a girl child. They named the child as
Mahadevi. She grew up as bright girl and a maiden of surpassing beauty. One day king Kaushika,
while returning from the ground, had seen the Mahadevi who was sitting in front of her house. After
seeing her he fallen in love with her and stopped his elephant at her place. Mahadevi became aware
that she herself was the object of king Kaushika and Mahadevi moved inside the house immediately.
He went to his palace and informed to his ministers that he wants to marry Mahadevi. Ministers went

Libby Montana Movie Analysis
A. While watching the documentary on Libby Montana i learned a lot about all of the bad things that
happened to hundreds of people. The story can be traced back to 1919 when companies first started
pulling vermiculite out of mines in Libby. Known commercially as Zonolite, vermiculite was used in a
variety of construction materials including insulation for homes and buildings. Decades of mining the
vermiculite exposed workers and residents to toxic asbestos dust. A word from our soc book that i
related to the movie was health. Obviously this was going to be a term i picked just by seeing what
was going on.Health is the level of functional or metabolic efficiency of a living organism. In humans
it is the ability of individuals or communities ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

asbestos refers to a set of six naturally occurring fibrous minerals. Asbestos has six primary sub
classifications: chrysotile, crocidolite, amosite, anthophyllite, tremolite, and actinolite. Among these,
chrysotile and amosite asbestos are the most common.Although asbestos fibers are microscopic in
nature, they are extremely durable and resistant to fire and most chemical reactions and breakdowns.
These properties of asbestos were the reasons that supported its use for many years in a number of
different commercial and industrial capacities. The strength of asbestos, combined with its resistance
to heat, allowed it to become the material of choice in a variety of products, including, but not limited
to, roofing shingles, floor tiles, ceiling materials, cement compounds, textile products, and automotive
parts. Asbestos is now strictly regulated as exposure to this toxic mineral can now be directly and
scientifically linked to a number of lung and respiratory health conditions. Its really a very bad thing. It
wasn t only around back in that time period of the Libby tradgedy. It is still around to this day and we
have no way of controlling it. In my old high school we had it in every room and the teacher use to kid
around about it but now i really know how serious it is. It is honestly nothing to joke about and there
should be laws patient play for schools making them get checked and passed to be function atlas every

History Of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever
Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever
History of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever
Since the last epidemic of ebola hemorrhagic fever or ebola people have been trying harder than ever
to find a cure for it. The origin of ebola is undefined as of this current moment, in other words no one
knows how ebola came about. The first outbreak of ebola that was recorded was in 1976 in Sudan and
Zaire. It infected 284 people with a mortality rate of 53%. It came about along the Ebola River hence
the name Ebola. The second one happened a few months later it had the highest mortality rate which
was 88% which is the highest of any ebola virus. It started in Yambuku Zaire, Democratic Republic of
the Congo. The third did not affect people, but monkeys. It was discovered in ... Show more content

A little girl ended up in an orphanage. Why? Both her parents and her brothers had died because of
ebola. The story was recorded by Ed Sheeran. He said that what the little girl has gone through isn t
like anything we could ever imagine.
There are many other stories but if I told them we would be here all day. It would take up more than
ten pages to tell all the tragic and some happy stories.
How can we prevent Ebola from happening
Honestly there is no way that we know of to prevent ebola from coming back. But if you know of

Examples Of Being Responsible
Essay Since the beginning of my life,I have considered myself a responsible person. From the
beginning of preschool,my biggest achievement could be to get good grades. This value followed me
my whole elementary school, which is something that helps you so much in school.Being responsible
doesn t let you do certain things that other people do,for example not studying for a test or not doing
your homework,it also made me have a perfect conduct. The problem started as I entered high
school,my responsibility was the same but My desires to do things lowered because I began feeling

The Birth of Muhammad and Islam
The Islamic religion is not only a religion, but a complex lifestyle full of dynamic truth which has a
past that spans over fourteen centuries. It s history encompasses the ancient spirits of people from
North Africa as far as Malaysia. Islam is also one of the youngest major religions as the Qur an came
down to Muhammad six centuries after Jesus, so that a large portion of the developed world which it
soon overran had been evangelized for centuries (Burrell 1). Although Islam was budding, it has
grown into one of the world s largest religions having a following of over one billion. Islam is known
to be the fastest growing faith worldwide, and in recent years has made striking advances in North
America (3). The rapid expansion of the community of Believers after Muhammad s death has its
roots in the events of the last years of his life ( Donner 92). Islam can be abridged into three
timeframes that are as follows; The Time of Ingratitude, Muhammad s life and story, and the
organizations and laws that were created after the demise of the prophet.
The holiest declaration or Shahada in Islam is There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his
messenger (Fieser 373). Islam found its origins in Arabia and it takes after every one of the standards
given by God which were translated through Muhammad. Muslims on the other hand, are the
individuals who hone this religion as

The Importance Of Environment On The Environment
The environment has a major influence in the personal health of a child and many of them are not
aware of how it affects them drastically. Various health conditions are either caused or aggravated by
environmental factors. One of the major health causing hazards is air pollution which can results in
asthma, cancer, and other severe respiratory conditions of which, many of these children are naïve
about how to protect themselves from these diseases. Students from the grades four through sixth need
to be educated about the health hazards resulting from air pollution and learn practices at school that
will help lessen air pollutants for their overall health and for future generations as well. Applications
such as riding your bike and walking to school, and creating your own garden, will help promote good
health for children as it will help improve air quality for them.
Education
Educating students on environmental hazard, specifically air pollution, at a young age can help
prevent premature respiratory conditions and so, teachers must find creative ways for students to
understand how much air quality can affect them. To begin one of these activities, teachers will
provide background information about common issues that are affecting the environment both
globally and locally then provide an activity that will get students engaged as to understanding why
and how these issues came to be. Students in grades four through six should be able to understand the
characteristics of organisms and their environment, and so teachers will focus on the latter of this
topic. One of the lessons would be teaching what is environmentalism, by stating that, everything that
we do in our daily lives affects this interrelationship [ecology] as the earth is always changing. Today
people are changing the earth faster than any forces of nature. We have created many problems like
landfills, oil spills, and nuclear disasters (Norwood 1996). Once understanding the facts, students will
record a weeks worth of visible pollution by spreading a thin layer of Vaseline on one side of several 3
by 5 index cards then placing the cards in a variety of places where they will be undisturbed for one
week. At the end of the week collect all the

Mosaic Down Syndrome
Down syndrome is a cell malfunction that affects people on a day to day basis all across the world.
Down syndrome is a condition in which a person has all or some of the third copy of chromosome 21
present. There are three types of Down syndrome. The first one is called trisomy 21, the second one is
called translocation Down syndrome, and the third one is called mosaic Down syndrome. Down
syndrome is the number 1 genetic condition in the United States and there is an excess of 350,000
people living in the United States with this condition.
As human beings we have 46 chromosomes divided into 23 pairs. Chromosome 21 is one of those
pairs. There are two copies of chromosome 21, one from each parent. This chromosome is the smallest
chromosome in the human body. There are approximately 200 to 300 genes on chromosome 21. The
main job that this chromosome as a whole has is simple. The sole purpose of chromosome 21 is to
manufacture protein cells.
The reason as to exactly why people have Down syndrome is based ... Show more content on

Mosaic Down syndrome, just like trisomy 21 cannot be inherited and is also just a random event. Like
translocation, mosaic Down syndrome is also very rare, with under 2 percent of cases falling under
this category. The word mosaic Down syndrome comes from the term mosaic art. The reason being is
the fact that mosaic art contains different color tiles, and some mosaic Down syndrome cells contain
trisomy 21 and others contain the normal amount of chromosomes. There are two differences between
mosaic Down syndrome and the other two types of Down syndrome. The first reason is the fact that
mosaic Down syndrome consists of 2 or 3 copies of chromosome 21 rather than a half or a whole. And
the second reason is that the copies of chromosome 21 are only in some of the body s cells not all of
them. In most cases, the children with mosaic Down syndrome scored higher on the IQ test than
children with trisomy 21

Feasibility Report on Internationalisation of an Australian Company
Executive Summary
The following feasibility report on JT Toy s interest to manufacture overseas has thoroughly explored
the positive and negative aspects of local production in comparison to moving its operations to China.
Manufacturing methods, such as a wholly owned subsidiary; owning and controlling a factory in
China, a strategic alliance and licensing agreements have been analysed in detail.
The evidence shows that moving part of the business to China as a wholly owned subsidiary, whilst
keeping its headquarters in Melbourne would be the most beneficial long term option. Paying royalties
and dividing profit with an overseas company ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A wholly owned subsidiary in China would consequently be ideal, so long as it is a strategic/tactical
long term plan.
A strategic alliance is defined as where two or more independent organisations set up a co operative
partnership to gain mutual strategic advantage. (Bartol, K, Tein, M, Matthews). This option would
involve JT Toys aligning itself with a pre existing Chinese manufacturing company, and using each
other s strengths for a mutual advantage. The Chinese company could produce toys with their cheaper
labour and production costs, while using the established brand of JT Toys, as well as their vision and
successful standing in the Australian market.

Obstructive Sleep Apnea In Women Summary
In the article Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Women: Specific Issues and Interventions, obstructive sleep
apnea is classified by a few symptoms that patients might experience, including weariness, drowsiness
during the day, challenges focusing and completing tasks, depression, poor sleep, and often insomnia.
(Wimms, Woehrle, Ketheeswaran, Ramanan, Armitstead 2016). This specific type of sleep disorder
can be quite challenging at times to diagnose. One mechanism that is available to measure how severe
one s obstructive sleep apnea is called the Apnea hypopnea index (AHI). This index calculates the
number of the times that a patient s airway is blocked every hour during sleep (Wimms et. al., 2016).
The physical impact of severe obstructive sleep ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After their trials, the authors concluded in their article Attention Deficits in Patients with Narcolepsy,
that due to the loss of REM sleep that narcolepsy causes, individual often times tolerate periods of
times of lessoned attention, alertness and memory, and this can create various problems in their
regular routine, specifically as in their education, work, or personal relationships (Rieger et.al., 2003).
Other physical symptoms that characterize narcolepsy are cataplexy and sleep paralysis. These
physical symptoms are depicted in the article What are the Symptoms? Cataplexy is a brief attack of
muscle weakness where an individual is unable to freely control one s own muscles ( What are the
Symptoms? 2010). The most severe case of cataplexy results in complete loss of control of a voluntary
muscle, in which that person is unable to move, speak, or even open one s eyes ( What are the
Symptoms? 2010). Sleep paralysis also affects one s ability to move and speak when falling asleep,
and like cataplexy, sleep paralysis occurs when the person is completely conscious of what is
happening ( What are the Symptoms? 2010). These two physical symptoms that might come along

Good Country People by Flannery OConnor Characterization as Theme
The Depth of Hulga?s Despair
Characterization is the most prevalent component used for the development of themes in Flannery O?
Connor?s satirical short story ?Good Country People.? O?Connor artistically cultivates character
development throughout her story as a means of creating multi level themes that culminate in allegory.
Although the themes are independent of each other, the characters are not; the development of one
character is dependent upon the development of another. Each character?s feelings and behavior are
influenced by the behavior of the others. Joy/Hulga, as the story?s main character, is the singly most
significant character to the themes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The omniscient narrator allows the reader to see that Hulga?s stereotyping of the other characters is
flawed; she never bothers trying to get to know the others as real people. If she had, she would have
realized that there was more to them than meets the eye. Hulga?s lack of interest in the other
characters effectively isolates her character from any meaningful relationships with other people. Her
superior attitude towards the other characters is manifested in her disrespect for all of them. It never
occurs to her to do unto others, as she would have others do unto her. Another theme emerges from her
contemptuous behavior: Treat others with disrespect and eventually you too will be treated that way.
This might also be stated through two well known clichés: ?you reap what you sow? or ?what goes
around comes around.?
Hulga uses her handicap, a leg partially shot off during a hunting accident, as an excuse for stomping
loudly around the house in the hope of irritating her mother. Although Hulga sees herself as
intellectually superior, her self esteem and self image are low due to her handicap, as evidenced by her
complete disregard for her appearance. Further evidence of her low self esteem is her changing her
name from Joy to Hulga, a name that her mother, Mrs. Hopewell, felt was ?the ugliest name in any
language.? Unbeknownst to Hulga, Mrs. Hopewell grieved for her daughter?s tragic life and excuses
much of her behavior ?because of

The Health Care Reform Debate
One of the fear factors in the health care reform debate is cost. The United States at present has a
costly system, and there is genuine worry that covering millions of additional people will increase
costs significantly. It is not how much the United States devotes on health care that is vital, it is also
how constant that quantity is increasing. I believe the cause of costly health care is the very beneficial
insurance industry. We pay a massive amounts to these corporate giants, who then regulate
accountable how they will cover us, what treatments and which doctors will help us. Of course they
are not responsible to us, as customers, but only to their shareholders. We argued that although the
health care cost is great; Americans do ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We also decided not to make any changes in higher education due to the fact that the budget will
slowly decrease as the years pass by. We also made no change in Medicare, but will be advocates for
an increase in the age to 67 years. Another decision was that we would make no change in health
services and research. We also decided to increase Medicaid by 2% which we will acquire from taking
1% away from atomic energy defense activities and another 1% from the federal employee retirement
and disability funds. This will help balance out the increasing budgets. Healthcare is a very
complicated manipulative system. The way to adjust this system is to initiate modification from all
angles, from the bottom to the top. We can take out costs by abridging and regulating so much,
especially in the billing and electronic medical record system. We also have to modify operation
patterns. The United States is not acquiring 20 or even 30 percent better health care or outcomes than
other countries do. While there are points of greatness, particularly at some of America s prominent
academic health foundations and in unified health care strategies, the quality is unequal. And quality is
a problem that affects us all, whether rich or poor. Practically no matter how we calculate it, whether
by life expectancy or by survival for particular diseases like asthma, heart disease or cancers; by the

Defining Professionalism
Academics believe that professional occupations are those that are full time occupations, have a
commitment to a calling, have formalized organization, are based on specialized education of
exceptional duration and difficulty, exhibit a service orientation, and are autonomous. Students feel
that a professional is anyone who acts in a professional way and has creditable knowledge of their
field. The two are vying for increased recognition in the elite group known as professionals. The

Can a corporate CEO not be a professional? Can the honor also be denied to a computer programmer
making $100,000 salary?
The surveyed students of Clarkson University disagree with Moore. Their ideas of professionalism
were much more lenient, and included CEOs, programmers, and nearly all other skilled jobs. A
professional, by their definition, has to go through intense training and must receive a degree [that]
requires hard work and study and devotes [their] whole life. The students commonly listed doctors,
lawyers, scientists, and reporters, which may fit Moore s ideals, but they also listed business people,
engineers, bankers, and trades such as mechanics and construction workers. These occupations may
not fit Moore s criteria. To the students, a professional is anyone who acts in a professional way and
has creditable knowledge of their field.
The reason for the disagreement is a conflict in interests between the two communities. The academic
community is firmly seated in the professional world. They do not have to contend with being a
member of professionalism s gray area. It is in the best interest of the academics to limit the definition
of professionalism, thus making it more of an elite group. However, the students have adopted the
beliefs of their parents, who wish to broaden professionalism, to include themselves in the elite group.
This is not to say that the students wish to include all occupations as

exposed the effects. Fortunately, now the ITE Law has begun to be enforced. The criminals of hoax
spreaders have been followed up by the police. Beside the bad effects of social media. There s still

Santa Clause Creative Writing
Santa Clause leaned his head against the sled, letting out a long sigh. It had been a tough evening so
far. The northern hemisphere was down, but he still had one more hemisphere to go, and he had no
idea what might be in store for him there. Santa s thoughts ran to and fro from what if I never reach all
the kids on time or what if the kids begin to lose faith in me? So, he quickly picked up his reins and
gave them a slap, whoop, whoop, he called out to his reindeers, but exhaustion was creeping in. He
noticed the fluffy clouds taking the forms of little children and candy canes, train sets, and teddy
bears. His eyelids grew too heavy to keep them open, and his head dropped to one side. Santa fell into
a deep slumber... Slop, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Suddenly, his thoughts were awakened by a rumbling song in the distance, and the dog ran ahead.
Wait up, Santa Clause shouted toward the direction the dog was running. He quickly hurried and came
upon an old swag man sitting by the fire. Finally someone to talk to! Santa walked up to the man and
began spilling his story. Hi, I m sure you know me, right? The outfit kind of gives it away, but
anyway. My sled has crashed and lies in pieces, my reindeer have all but gone. I need water, I m so
parched. And I have no way of getting out, I m stuck, and.... Whoa, whoa, whoa. Take a breather me
old mate. Let s just begin with your name. What? said Santa, I thought we clarified that already? Oh
dear, another helpless vagabond who doesn t know my name. It s Santa Clause . Who of what cause?
the old man said in bewilderment. You know. S.A.N.T.A. C.L.A.U.S.E. Eh, The swag man said
cocking his head and levelling his eyebrow. Oh, never mind. I m too much in a hurry to explain. I
need a sled and my reindeers to continue my journey before it is too late. Have you seen them at all?
Looking down at his time watch he exclaimed, Golly, look at the time! It s nearly past 1:30 am. I need
supplies. Isn t there any other village around here? Ay, but it s too late for all that. I say first you just
need to sit down and take a cuppa with me, said the swag man calmly. I don t see all this rush in
anything . No I cannot. There s

A Worn Path Summary
A Worn Path(Maria Ma)
Symbolize
Now I want to talk about symbolize in the story, a worn path.
Phoenix
The name of the main character, the old Negro woman, is Phoenix. Phoenix, in the Greek Mythology,
associated with the Sun, it obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor.(From
Wikipedia) Back to the story, when our main character Phoenix is on her way to the city, there are so
many difficulties that she is facing bush catches her dress, a black dog goes towards her and she fall
into the ditch, etc. To old Phoenix, it is hard to go through the path; she may fall off at any time.
However, every time after she concord a difficulty, it seems that she reborn.
2. The path
The concept path symbolizes a lot in the story. Through the path the negro woman passed, Eudora
Welty shows what the Negroes suffered when they were fighting for the equity. As a result, the path
means the path of the black liberation.
On the long road to town, Phoenix walks form the morning to the night; it is like that a human is on
his/her way of life. The road has beauty, of course, danger. If you have a clear target, you will have the
wheels of process. The walk was hard, just like what Phoenix says: Seem like there is chains about my
feet, time I get this far. Something always take a hold of me on this hill pleads I should stay.

Essay on An Exploration of Vegetarianism
I. Thesis Definition
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the trend of vegetarianism and its steady increase in
popularity in the United States, the possible causes behind the existence of this trend, its effects on our
general society and the practicing population, and finally, the future of vegetarianism. For the purpose
of this paper vegetarianism is described as a plant based diet (fruits, vegetables, etc), though the most
important factor being the total exclusion of meat, not including fish for most practitioners. While
numerous sub levels of this lifestyle exist, including veganism (abstaining from the use of all animal
products) and semi vegetarianism (a person cutting back on meat intake), this study will focus mainly

In 1992, as the medical evidence supporting this lifestyle skyrocketed, the American Dietetic
Association officially endorsed vegetarianism, thus solidifying a prominent argument for the
credibility of the vegetarian diet. From the 1990s to present day, the amount of practitioners has
markedly increased, and appears to be continually growing at a steady rate. According to a 2008 study
conducted by the Harris Interactive Service Bureau on behalf of Vegetarian Times magazine, roughly
3.2 percent of U.S. adults, or 7.3 million people, follow a vegetarian based diet. In addition, 22.8
million Americans maintain to follow a vegetarian inclined diet, while 11.9 million are definitely
interested in becoming a vegetarian in the future ( Vegetarianism ). While no concrete evidence of a
current rise yet exists, researchers speculate that, because of new environmental and health concerns,
more people are, and will be, turning to vegetarianism to assist these issues (Rohrer).
III. Causes of Vegetarianism
Environment
Environmental vegetarianism centers on the ever increasing alarm that mass production of meat and
animal products, particularly through factory farming, is environmentally unsustainable. As reported
by a 2006 United Nations initiative, the livestock industry is ...one of the largest contributors to
environmental degradation worldwide, and modern practices of raising animals for food

Genteel People and Honest Hearts in Jane Austen s Emma...
Emma: Genteel People and Honest Hearts
In Emma, Jane Austen gives us only the surface of the lives of genteel people ? Though not
necessarily a commonly used term today, the meaning of genteel people is easily assumed. Good birth
and breeding are not necessarily the only qualities of genteel people: simple generosity, courtesy and
elegance can also apply, as well as marriage into the class. The majority of the characters in Emma to
some extent expand this definition to provide exceptions to the rule or abuses of the title. In this way
the characters provide an interesting answer to the question of whether or not Austen actually deals
with genteel people.
Mrs and Miss Bates are genteel people and of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If she had been able to procure the necessary husband, there is no doubt that her gentility would have
become permanent. As it was, she married for love and the intimacy between her and Emma must
sink, that is, she has lost her albeit precarious hold on gentility.
Jane Fairfax is, at her introduction to the reader, in ready danger of slipping from the class that she
deserves through both breeding and character. Jane s orphaned status and increasing years mean that if
she does not find a suitable husband in the near future, a governor s position will soon be beckoning.
Fortunately for her, the engagement to Frank Churchill has secured Jane s position, as he has genteel
breeding and was brought up in the Churchill household a very prestigious claim.
Jane s position is almost the reverse of Mrs Weston née Taylor. The life of a governess was seemingly
inescapable, save for the connection to Mr. Weston. Mr. Woodhouse s cries for poor Miss Taylor
illustrate his social blindness when he cannot recognise the constant desire to further oneself.
The notion of manners maketh man can also be used to judge the gentility of the persons involved.
That of Mr Knightley is proven at the ball when, despite his reservations about Harriet and dancing, he
chooses to rescue her from the humiliation of Mr Elton s snub illustrating his good manners and
gentleman s heart. The appalling manners of

Strategic Customer Management And Solutions
For strategic customer management and solutions selling, a firm s entire core processes need to be
aligned and working collaboratively to create and deliver value to both the customer and the firm as a
whole.
Within Avaya marketing and sales are very separate functions with each focused on their own tasks
and objectives. This is evident from the funnels which are completely separate and identify no overlap
between the functions. It appears that each team has developed processes in isolation, meaning that
there is no alignment or collaboration between the groups.
One of the key hurdles standing in the way of effective demand generation is the leads generation
process. The case study highlights that the prospects from the marketing team were viewed in terms of
a set of criteria, however this criteria appears to be set by the marketing team and varied greatly across
different markets. This is in contract to the leads generated by the sales team who spent a lot of time
upfront assessing the attractiveness of an opportunity by really understanding the prospect company,
their interest level and how Avaya could provide a solution. This gap between the lead qualification
process results in the sales team spending considerable time requalifying any leads from the marketing
team to understand what the customers problem is and what an Avaya solution would look like (this is
not an efficient use of their time). In order to make strategic choices about your customers, all relevant
teams

Personal Experience Response
This had to be by far the most unique and distinct experience paper yet. The options were so relevant
to the class and for the first time, in a long time, this was an exciting experience for me. All due to one
topic: S E X. With that being said my topic of choice was a movie review. This was a bit common and
challenging for me at the same time. Challenging because I didn t know which category I haven t
watched when it comes to porn and common for me because I watch porn very often.
#NOJUDGEMENTZONE Why I chose this topic was pretty simple, there are a few subdivisions in
the porn industry that I have yet to experience. I m pretty sure, majority of society watches the usual:
man on woman; woman on woman and man on man. Now how many of these people can say they
have also watch intersex people having intercourse. Now to the average person, intersex persons are
usually called trannys/transexuals/shemales in the adult film industry. ... Show more content on

I watched this movie on Extremetube.com; which so happens to be my favorite porn site (this is
confidential right?) I usually watch ,any different forms of porn. Meaning the usual 2 people porn or
the orgies and gangbangs but this by far had to be the most shocking. Watching a intersex persons
perform fallacio on a man, while the woman is trying her best to gag on the intersex persons genitals
ws kind of new to me. It was even more shocking to see just how big an intersex persons penis can
look. Ironically it s bigger than the males

Heroin And Its Effects On The Brain
Heroin, a chemical imposter, is an illegal, extremely addictive drug derived from opium. Heroin can
reach the brain by methods of injection, nasal inhalation, or smoked. In our brain there are many
receptor sites, each site specific for different neurotransmitters. In this paper I will refer to the opiate
receptor. Naturally, our brain is responsible for making endorphins, a natural opiate of the body. These
endorphins are the feel good chemical sensations in the brain, when we are exposed to pain or stress.
Heroin mimics the opium chemical, creating the effect of pleasure and euphoric feelings. I will look
into how heroin affects the cerebral cortex and how different genders perceive and treat the effects of
heroin. The opiates in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The opioid is synthesized from morphine, and when entering the brain, heroin is converted back to
morphine. Upon entering, the once opioid, now morphine, binds to opioid receptors, specifically in the
brainstem. The brainstem is vital for controlling automatic processes vital for life, like blood pressure,
arousal, and respiration. These processes are how we continue to live; heroin use and overdose can
then lead to death by suppression of these vital life processes, such as suppression of breathing
(National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2014). While heroin undoubtedly affects our processes of living, it
also interrupts our sensations and perceptions. Users describe the feeling of heroin as a euphoric or
rush feeling. This rush reportedly last one to two minutes, where the actual high lasts hours. Other
sensations associated with heroin are reduction of anxiety and depression, safe and warm feelings, and
pain relief (Hartney, 2014). While heroin affects sensations, it also changes motor functions, such as
reaction times. In a study I examined, experimenters tested reaction times in heroin abusers of
different genders. In the experiment, researchers formulated two groups, one control and the other
heroin dependent currently in a withdrawal period; researchers choose participants specifically on
certain guidelines. For the experiment, participants were asked to focus on a visual stimulus on a
computer screen. There were asked to press a button when they saw the

  • 2. Goodwill Truly Good Research Paper Is Goodwill Truly Good? Goodwill originated in 1902 in Boston by a Methodist minister named Rev. Edgar J. Helms. He went to higher end cities and collected used goods. Then, he would take these goods and repair them so he could resell or give these items to the less fortunate. He also trained poor individuals to repair and offered them jobs. This was the start of his motto, a hand up, not a hand down. Dr. Helms stated that Goodwill is an industrial program as well as a social service enterprise...a provider of employment, training and rehabilitation for people of limited employability, and a source of temporary assistance for individuals whose resources were depleted. • 3. Role Of Women In Rigveda Though women were suppressed from the ancient period, whenever there was a possibility they have raised their voice and asked their rights. The best example is that the conversation between Yama and Yami. Yami expressed her physical desire over her brother Yama however, he refused her opinion. It shows that women had freedom to express her feelings and opinion in the family. In Rigveda some of the Rishikas name mentioned are Aditi, Indramatalu, Indrani, Urvasi, Ghosa, Juhu, Bharadvaja, Ratri, Surya,Viswavara etc. Among those women, Viswavara and Ghosa were considered as historical characters. It gives an idea about that some of the Rishika were fighting for their place and identity in the society. Then also, the brahminical tradition repressed the voice of women. • 5. Libby Montana Movie Analysis A. While watching the documentary on Libby Montana i learned a lot about all of the bad things that happened to hundreds of people. The story can be traced back to 1919 when companies first started pulling vermiculite out of mines in Libby. Known commercially as Zonolite, vermiculite was used in a variety of construction materials including insulation for homes and buildings. Decades of mining the vermiculite exposed workers and residents to toxic asbestos dust. A word from our soc book that i related to the movie was health. Obviously this was going to be a term i picked just by seeing what was going on.Health is the level of functional or metabolic efficiency of a living organism. I learned really what was causing all the people in Libby to Get sick. asbestos refers to a set of six naturally occurring fibrous minerals. Asbestos has six primary sub classifications: chrysotile, crocidolite, amosite, anthophyllite, tremolite, and actinolite. Among these, chrysotile and amosite asbestos are the most common.Although asbestos fibers are microscopic in nature, they are extremely durable and resistant to fire and most chemical reactions and breakdowns. These properties of asbestos were the reasons that supported its use for many years in a number of different commercial and industrial capacities. The strength of asbestos, combined with its resistance to heat, allowed it to become the material of choice in a variety of products, including, but not limited to, roofing shingles, floor tiles, ceiling materials, cement compounds, textile products, and automotive parts. Asbestos is now strictly regulated as exposure to this toxic mineral can now be directly and scientifically linked to a number of lung and respiratory health conditions. Its really a very bad thing. It wasn t only around back in that time period of the Libby tradgedy. It is still around to this day and we have no way of controlling it. In my old high school we had it in every room and the teacher use to kid around about it but now i really know how serious it is. It is honestly nothing to joke about and there should be laws patient play for schools making them get checked and passed to be function atlas every 5 years to keep the kids safe and keep them healthy. ... It s history encompasses the ancient spirits of people from North Africa as far as Malaysia. Islam is also one of the youngest major religions as the Qur an came down to Muhammad six centuries after Jesus, so that a large portion of the developed world which it soon overran had been evangelized for centuries (Burrell 1). Islam is known to be the fastest growing faith worldwide, and in recent years has made striking advances in North America (3). The rapid expansion of the community of Believers after Muhammad s death has its roots in the events of the last years of his life ( Donner 92). Islam can be abridged into three timeframes that are as follows; The Time of Ingratitude, Muhammad s life and story, and the organizations and laws that were created after the demise of the prophet. • 9. The Importance Of Environment On The Environment The environment has a major influence in the personal health of a child and many of them are not aware of how it affects them drastically. Various health conditions are either caused or aggravated by environmental factors. One of the major health causing hazards is air pollution which can results in asthma, cancer, and other severe respiratory conditions of which, many of these children are naïve about how to protect themselves from these diseases. Students from the grades four through sixth need to be educated about the health hazards resulting from air pollution and learn practices at school that will help lessen air pollutants for their overall health and for future generations as well. Applications such as riding your bike and walking to school, and creating your own garden, will help promote good health for children as it will help improve air quality for them. Education Educating students on environmental hazard, specifically air pollution, at a young age can help prevent premature respiratory conditions and so, teachers must find creative ways for students to understand how much air quality can affect them. To begin one of these activities, teachers will provide background information about common issues that are affecting the environment both globally and locally then provide an activity that will get students engaged as to understanding why and how these issues came to be. Students in grades four through six should be able to understand the characteristics of organisms and their environment, and so teachers will focus on the latter of this topic. One of the lessons would be teaching what is environmentalism, by stating that, everything that we do in our daily lives affects this interrelationship [ecology] as the earth is always changing. Today people are changing the earth faster than any forces of nature. We have created many problems like landfills, oil spills, and nuclear disasters (Norwood 1996). Once understanding the facts, students will record a weeks worth of visible pollution by spreading a thin layer of Vaseline on one side of several 3 by 5 index cards then placing the cards in a variety of places where they will be undisturbed for one week. Down syndrome is a condition in which a person has all or some of the third copy of chromosome 21 present. There are three types of Down syndrome. The first one is called trisomy 21, the second one is called translocation Down syndrome, and the third one is called mosaic Down syndrome. Down syndrome is the number 1 genetic condition in the United States and there is an excess of 350,000 people living in the United States with this condition. As human beings we have 46 chromosomes divided into 23 pairs. Chromosome 21 is one of those pairs. There are two copies of chromosome 21, one from each parent. This chromosome is the smallest chromosome in the human body. There are approximately 200 to 300 genes on chromosome 21. The main job that this chromosome as a whole has is simple. Mosaic Down syndrome, just like trisomy 21 cannot be inherited and is also just a random event. Like translocation, mosaic Down syndrome is also very rare, with under 2 percent of cases falling under this category. The word mosaic Down syndrome comes from the term mosaic art. The reason being is the fact that mosaic art contains different color tiles, and some mosaic Down syndrome cells contain trisomy 21 and others contain the normal amount of chromosomes. There are two differences between mosaic Down syndrome and the other two types of Down syndrome. The first reason is the fact that mosaic Down syndrome consists of 2 or 3 copies of chromosome 21 rather than a half or a whole. And the second reason is that the copies of chromosome 21 are only in some of the body s cells not all of them. This option would involve JT Toys aligning itself with a pre existing Chinese manufacturing company, and using each other s strengths for a mutual advantage. (Wimms, Woehrle, Ketheeswaran, Ramanan, Armitstead 2016). This specific type of sleep disorder can be quite challenging at times to diagnose. One mechanism that is available to measure how severe one s obstructive sleep apnea is called the Apnea hypopnea index (AHI). Good Country People by Flannery OConnor Characterization as Theme The Depth of Hulga?s Despair Characterization is the most prevalent component used for the development of themes in Flannery O? Connor?s satirical short story ?Good Country People.? O?Connor artistically cultivates character development throughout her story as a means of creating multi level themes that culminate in allegory. Although the themes are independent of each other, the characters are not; the development of one character is dependent upon the development of another. Each character?s feelings and behavior are influenced by the behavior of the others. Joy/Hulga, as the story?s main character, is the singly most significant character to the themes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The omniscient narrator allows the reader to see that Hulga?s stereotyping of the other characters is flawed; she never bothers trying to get to know the others as real people. If she had, she would have realized that there was more to them than meets the eye. Hulga?s lack of interest in the other characters effectively isolates her character from any meaningful relationships with other people. Her superior attitude towards the other characters is manifested in her disrespect for all of them. It never occurs to her to do unto others, as she would have others do unto her. Another theme emerges from her contemptuous behavior: Treat others with disrespect and eventually you too will be treated that way. This might also be stated through two well known clichés: ?you reap what you sow? or ?what goes around comes around.? Hulga uses her handicap, a leg partially shot off during a hunting accident, as an excuse for stomping loudly around the house in the hope of irritating her mother. Although Hulga sees herself as intellectually superior, her self esteem and self image are low due to her handicap, as evidenced by her complete disregard for her appearance. Further evidence of her low self esteem is her changing her name from Joy to Hulga, a name that her mother, Mrs. Hopewell, felt was ?the ugliest name in any language.? Unbeknownst to Hulga, Mrs. Hopewell grieved for her daughter?s tragic life and excuses much of her behavior ?because of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Responding to messages of a mundane nature (by texting or other means) is disruptive and can be accomplished during class breaks and at the end of the class. It is not even necessary to have cell phones and other communication devices placed in the open classroom unless the potential for an emergency message exists. In that case, the instructor should be notified prior to the class in which the student may receive an emergency message. Even then, all due diligence should be made by the student to avoid exposing other students to the distraction of even an emergency message or the need to absence one s self from the classroom. Frequent moving about the classroom during instruction and student presentations will be noted by the course instructor and brought to the attention of the student(s) involved. • 16. The Health Care Reform Debate One of the fear factors in the health care reform debate is cost. The United States at present has a costly system, and there is genuine worry that covering millions of additional people will increase costs significantly. It is not how much the United States devotes on health care that is vital, it is also how constant that quantity is increasing. I believe the cause of costly health care is the very beneficial insurance industry. We pay a massive amounts to these corporate giants, who then regulate accountable how they will cover us, what treatments and which doctors will help us. Of course they are not responsible to us, as customers, but only to their shareholders. We argued that although the health care cost is great; Americans do ... We also made no change in Medicare, but will be advocates for an increase in the age to 67 years. Another decision was that we would make no change in health services and research. We also decided to increase Medicaid by 2% which we will acquire from taking 1% away from atomic energy defense activities and another 1% from the federal employee retirement and disability funds. This will help balance out the increasing budgets. Healthcare is a very complicated manipulative system. The way to adjust this system is to initiate modification from all angles, from the bottom to the top. We can take out costs by abridging and regulating so much, especially in the billing and electronic medical record system. We also have to modify operation patterns. The United States is not acquiring 20 or even 30 percent better health care or outcomes than other countries do. While there are points of greatness, particularly at some of America s prominent academic health foundations and in unified health care strategies, the quality is unequal. According to a 2008 study conducted by the Harris Interactive Service Bureau on behalf of Vegetarian Times magazine, roughly 3.2 percent of U.S. adults, or 7.3 million people, follow a vegetarian based diet. In addition, 22.8 million Americans maintain to follow a vegetarian inclined diet, while 11.9 million are definitely interested in becoming a vegetarian in the future ( Vegetarianism ). Within Avaya marketing and sales are very separate functions with each focused on their own tasks and objectives. This is evident from the funnels which are completely separate and identify no overlap between the functions. It appears that each team has developed processes in isolation, meaning that there is no alignment or collaboration between the groups. One of the key hurdles standing in the way of effective demand generation is the leads generation process. The case study highlights that the prospects from the marketing team were viewed in terms of a set of criteria, however this criteria appears to be set by the marketing team and varied greatly across different markets. This is in contract to the leads generated by the sales team who spent a lot of time upfront assessing the attractiveness of an opportunity by really understanding the prospect company, their interest level and how Avaya could provide a solution. This gap between the lead qualification process results in the sales team spending considerable time requalifying any leads from the marketing team to understand what the customers problem is and what an Avaya solution would look like (this is not an efficient use of their time). The opioid is synthesized from morphine, and when entering the brain, heroin is converted back to morphine. Upon entering, the once opioid, now morphine, binds to opioid receptors, specifically in the brainstem. The brainstem is vital for controlling automatic processes vital for life, like blood pressure, arousal, and respiration. These processes are how we continue to live; heroin use and overdose can then lead to death by suppression of these vital life processes, such as suppression of breathing (National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2014). While heroin undoubtedly affects our processes of living, it also interrupts our sensations and perceptions. Users describe the feeling of heroin as a euphoric or rush feeling. This rush reportedly last one to two minutes, where the actual high lasts hours.
