A team spent 10 days working at the Ocean Village Innovation Centre from July 17-28, 2017. They conducted usability testing on 12 websites and personas for 12 businesses, collecting over 42GB of data through heat maps, gaze plots and usability reviews. The work provided students from Southampton Solent University real business experience, improving their employability through hands-on learning of interpersonal, professional and technical skills. It also provided insights to businesses about their customers and areas for improvement.
