Accelerating Future of Work using Sustainable Agile ManifestoSandeep Joshi
We all are experiencing an unprecedented reality – something that is beyond the super VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world. The pace of change is exponential, the degree of expectations from people, employees and stakeholders are extreme. It’s not business as usual and hence we need to rethink and redefine how we work, live and thrive inthe new normal.In this session, we will go through the CORE Values of the Sustainable Agile Manifesto and understand how these values are helping organizations prepare for the new normal and accelerate their transformation journey.

On the 23rd September 2014 the APM broadcast a webinar hosted by the Enabling Change SIG. The webinar was presented by Donna Brighton, ACMP President (US based) and Rhiannon Cooke, ACMP Vice President (UK based) and included a number of opportunities for interaction and sharing. Donna and Rhiannon have extensive practical experience of delivering programmes and projects and currently advise on change management in their private practices.
Travis Green kicked off the PNODN year with a talk on Green OD. After a 30 minute mingle Travis had us engadge in a dialogue about the meaning of "Green" "Sustainable" and "OD" in the phase "We are committed to being a ______ organization". Members reported a perception shift when thinking about what they heard in those three statements. Then, we were off.
The group explored the jargon and came to an understanding that this concept of sustainable change is being defined. Some suggested it is part of the design work we do to define this with our cleints. One strategy that was illuminating was to start with what they already doing that is sustainable.
We talked about the challenges of Sponsorship and education about systems. We had questions about what tools to use and process consulting was a recommendation from Travis.
Members talked about notion of the "triple bottom line", and how the language of accounting and profit predominats the mental models that run organizations. The group talked about our role to bridge that language to sustainable concepts for our clients in ways that are meaningful to them.
What conversations are you having with your clients about sustainability.
At the end of the evening members were lively and continued the converstaion. In the evaluation of the event particpants reported the topic to be highly relevant to their work. The content contained new inforamtion for the majority. Everyone who completed the survey said they had met someone they would like to collaborate with. What would that look like?
In this year’s Salterbaxter MSLGROUP Directions Report, we are getting under the surface of the most significant movements, models and philosophies in sustainable business.
Joined by thought-leaders at the very cutting edge of their adoption and popularisation, we explore the context in which the movements has sprung up, from consumer pressure to the UN’s sustainable development goals.

Obtaining a green audit for your organization is a great step in a sustainable direction. But often a company finds that moving beyond this point is difficult. Identifying a specific route to take can be challenging with so many options of change available. But have no fear...this Slideshare will allow you to review your audit, and use it to propel you forward. It prepares you for both the pros and cons of change so that you can easily overcome obstacles when they arise.
The steps that Sustainability Change Management lays out are geared for both formal and informal leaders, who are ready to involve their employee base beyond just their green team. While getting a team rallied behind sustainable initiatives is not a simple task, it is a feasible one when leaders are aware of how to educate their peers, communicate plans, and positively address resistance to their efforts.
Another often neglected but important step in managing change is rewarding good behavior. This Slideshare brings this element to the forefront and examines how to successfully reward employees. Even simple recognition can give your employees a major boost.

A Co-Evolutionary Perspective on Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Innovation, an...Florian Lüdeke-Freund
The relevance of business models for corporate performance in general and corporate sustainability in particular has been widely acknowledged in the literature while sustainable entrepreneurship research has started to explore contributions to the sustainability transformation of markets and society. Particularities of the business models of sustainable niche market pioneers have been identified in earlier research, but little is known about the dynamic role of business models for sustainable entrepreneurship processes aiming at upscaling ecologically and socially beneficial niche models or sustainability upgrading of conventional mass market players. Informed by evolutionary economics, we develop a theoretical framework to analyze co-evolutionary business model development for sustainable niche pioneers and conventional mass market players aiming at the sustainability transformation of markets. Core evolutionary processes of business model variation, selection and retention, and evolutionary pathways are identified to support structured analyses of the dynamics between business model innovation and sustainability transformation of markets.

8 lessons from the book "Emotional Equations"
by Chip Conley:
1. "Joy = Love - Fear" - This equation suggests that joy is the result of feeling loved without fear. When we feel loved and secure, we are able to experience joy.
2. "Despair = Suffering - Meaning" - This equation suggests that despair arises when we are suffering but cannot find any meaning in our suffering. Finding purpose and meaning can help us move out of despair.
3. "Anxiety = Uncertainty x Powerlessness" - This equation suggests that anxiety arises when we feel uncertain about a situation and powerless to control it. Recognizing and addressing our feelings of powerlessness can help reduce anxiety.
4. "Disappointment = Expectations - Reality" - This equation suggests that disappointment arises when our expectations do not match up with reality. Adjusting our expectations or finding ways to change our reality can help reduce disappointment.
5. "Envy = Despair + Resignation" - This equation suggests that envy arises when we feel both despair and resignation about our own situation, while simultaneously coveting what others have. Practicing gratitude and finding ways to improve our own situation can help reduce envy.
6. "Authenticity = Self-Awareness x Courage" - This equation suggests that authenticity arises when we are both self-aware and courageous enough to express our true selves. Developing self-awareness and cultivating courage can help us live more authentically.
7. "Happiness = Wanting What You Have / Having What You Want" - This equation suggests that happiness arises when we either want what we already have or have what we want. Cultivating gratitude and finding ways to attain our desires can help increase happiness.
8. "Hope = Belief / Doubt" - This equation suggests that hope arises when our belief in a positive outcome outweighs our doubt. Focusing on positive outcomes and cultivating a hopeful mindset can help increase hope.

Social Architecture - Raising the Bar for our ProfessionLuc Galoppin
In this session, Luc Galoppin will argue that in order to advance as a profession, change management itself needs to change.
We can no longer rely on hierarchical, compliance-driven approaches to driving change initiatives, Luc will argue, and need to embrace a new perspective – ‘Social Architecture’ – if we are to reach our full potential.
Social Architecture focuses on communities and ‘tribes’ which cut across traditional organisational and hierarchical boundaries. Letting go of control, Luc believes, and shifting from an emphasis on explicit knowledge to trust, connection and co-creation will be key to the future of change management.
Using innovative hand-drawn diagrams, and drawing on his experience of ERP implementations across varied settings, Luc will explain how Social Architecture requires a mindset shift from managing change at the project level to creating platforms for connection, knowledge sharing and co-creation. The legacy we leave behind, Luc believes, should create lasting capability to deal with future change at the organisational level – “Teaching people how to fish so they can eat forever.”

How can social media support you in your Me Inc journey?Luc Galoppin
How can social media support you in your Me Inc journey? That's a wrong question. The point is that we can no longer afford not to engage in social media. Being a Me Inc means that you are your own HR manager and social media is currently changing our business landscape in a way that calls for Me Incs to stand up and rise to the occasion.
The 5 Things You Need to Know About ResistanceLuc Galoppin
With this e-book I offer an alternative to the way we have been taught to treat resistance. To summarize what this e-book is about:
1. Resistance is a good thing; it’s the energy that fuels change;
2. It’s about emotions, and in the first place: your own;
3. It’s about relations, first on trust and then on agreement;
4. It’s about platforms - a platform for emotions; not a burning platform;
5. It is about you - up close and personal.
I hope you will enjoy reading this e-book as much as I did making it.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.
