Why did Rome Fall By the 400’s, over half the year was an official holiday. Huge spectacles/mass entertainment Lack of an informed citizenry Barbarian Invasions Over half the people on public assistance of some sort
What replaced Rome? At first, nothing.  Barbarians. Later-Feudalism..a system where one king would develop a private army and give protection to workers in exchange for payment to live on his land.
Christianity Based on the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth Constantine becomes emporer and adopts it as official religion in the 300s AD Gave people hope for a better future-this was a dangerous time!
