bodies around them, they pose a significant contamination risk. Locating a resourceful site, providing
facilities along with industrial waste and operational management practices are needed to minimize
this risk.
The most commonly affecting industrial waste includes petroleum hydrocarbons, heavy metals,
surfactants, toxins and/or salts, which pollute surrounding water bodies, making them unsuitable for
most of the water needs and harming the aquatic life therein. Algal blooms and oxygen deficit are the
