attracted to the Weyden more than Pontormo even if its older because it looks so much more realistic

standing or falling. The shadows of the drape make them look real as if you can pick them up directly
from the painting. In Pontormo the drapery is more of a flowing feel to it. You can tell where it sits but

and my watercolour painting is titled A Cosmic Trinity . I chose this art form to express my concept of
the Trinity because it flows easily, like how each reflection of God can relate to the essence of God.
This artwork is representational; it was chosen because the trinity can be clearly represented. In this
piece, the Earth is the centre of the artwork to signify how God watches over us. The Father as the
creator of life, the Son as the flesh of God, and the Holy Spirit as the love and spirit of God. The
Trinity is enclosed by an illuminated triangle in a boundless expanse of space to represent the faceless
Godhead.

In Patricia Hill Collins Mammies, Matriarchs, and Other Controlling Images, she illustrates four main
stereotypes that Black women face. The first controlling image applied to African American women is
The Mammy. The mammy is the faithful, obedient servant to the white family and the stereotype
attempts to hide the fact that black women who work for white families are being exploited. By loving
and caring for her white children more than her own, the mammy symbolizes the dominant group s
perceptions of the ideal black female relationship to elite white male power. The smiling mammy
signals her agreement with the situation, seemingly accepting her subordination (Collins, 71). Next is
the image of the Black matriarch (Collins, 73). According to the stereotype, they spend too much time
away from home, are overly aggressive and unfeminine, and allegedly emasculate their lovers and
husbands. This stereotype attempts to control conduct by punishing black women for assertiveness
and hides the oppression by making it seem that black women are naturally this way (Collins, 74 75).
The third controlling image of Black womanhood is that of the welfare mother, which is linked to
Black women s increasing dependence on the welfare state (Collins, 76). This time, the punishment is

Accuracy of results
There is always some degree of inaccuracy in any experiment. I think that there were several factors in
my experiment that made the results slightly inaccurate. These were;

into the atmosphere instead of the gas syringe.

Reliability
No significant problems or difficulties were encountered when carrying out this experiment. The

overall conclusion.
Improvements
The procedure used was simple and straightforward and not many difficulties were encountered. One

Both of these endings work well in their respective mediums. There is no written law that says a
producer or director has to strictly reinforce all the themes of the novel that are being adapted to the
screen. If this were true that would make for an entirely dull piece of work, which brings me to the
Michael Winner version.
Lacking the stars of Bogart and Bacall, the film inserts sexuality by glorifying Carmen Sternwood s

Mitchum, playing Marlowe, has more fun flirting with Agnes, played by Joan Collins, in Geiger s
bookstore than with the snotty, senior Sternwood sister. Leaving Eddie Mars gambling casino,
Marlowe kisses Vivian in an attempt to find out, what Eddie Mars has on her. However, Vivian is not

has a good heart, but he soon commits a crime that will forever change his life. Raskolnikov is a good
man; I believe he is kind, generous, and selfless. Now, how are all of these positive traits found in a
murderer? I think was caught in a psychotic moment, his mental state was not all there, and he had a
dream, he made a plan, and he committed this terrible crime. A good example of Raskolnikov being a
kind hearted person, and selfless is when he sees a young girl at the end of the street, he sees by her a
rough looking man staring at her. He starts to get very worried what this man might do to this young
girl. He goes down the street to get this young girl, and he pays for a taxi to get her home. This was so
generous, and small yet so impactful. Raskolnikov cared about what might happen to this young girl,
and did something about it. This showed how selfless Raskolnikov is, and what a kind heart he has. I
think this shows Raskolnikov s true character. From here, he makes some terrible decisions, and is

To be considered antisocial is to isolate oneself from general social conditions and demonstrate
behaviors that deviate from the social societal norm. Antisocial Personality disorder describes an
individual that lacks values and habitually violates societal standards in regards to ethics and social
behavior. Individuals with this disorder can be described to lack empathy, act impulsively, and have
flagrant disregard for other people. It is hard for them to form engage in positive social exchanges or
maintain relationships with others. It was only until the early twentieth century that Antisocial
Personality disorder was named. Previously, these individuals were categorized as psychopaths due to
the thrill seeking and cunning nature of their actions. Psychopaths have the ability to change their
personalities to ultimately get what they desire then revert back to a malicious, egocentric state. When
faced with a dangerous adventure, for those with ASPD the choice will always be to peruse the danger.
This is due to a constant underlying feeling of restlessness (Nolen Hoeksema, 2011, p. 272). Although
these traits can be deemed psychopathic this disorder is not only seen in those who have established
