FIRST SMARTPHONE
• Smartphones have been around since 1993, though few people
  had one at that time.
• IBM developed the first smartphone known as “Simon”
• The $900 simon was a combination phone, pager, calculator,
  address book, calendar, fax machine, and wireless e-mail
  device.
• It weighed 20-ounces.
