● The skeletal system provides the base
framework to which all the other tissues and
organs attach, giving shape to the human
body.
● It provides shape, support, movement,
protection, and blood cell production and
storage.

4. How It Works
● The skeletal system doesn’t work alone.
● The muscular system and the skeletal
system work together.
● Muscles connect to the skeleton and they
contract and move along with the skeletal
system.
