This document provides information about the locations used to film the video for the song "A Young Understanding" by Sundara Karma. It lists seven locations in the order they appear: Roadside, Forest, Playground, Wasteland at Night, Wasteland at Day, Paddling Pool, and Town Park. For each location, it provides a brief description of why it was chosen and any relevant details about filming there.

2. MAPS
• The following slides contain the locations of the various places where we shot for
our video, Sundara Karma – A Young Understanding.
• The locations for filming are as follows (listed in order of appearance):
• Roadside
• Forest

• Paddling Pool
• Town Park

3. ROADSIDE
We chose to have the Roadside location here as it was a quite road with a zebra crossing, which is what we needed
for the opening sequence for the video. In addition, as the road was quite, it made it easier to film here.

4. FOREST
This forest was chosen as we thought it would be good to show the adventurous side of youth. This
was a good location for that as the forest was rather empty, making our actors the only ones
venturing through.

5. PLAYGROUND
This was one of the more difficult locations to film at. This is because it was during the day at a park
on a Saturday, meaning it was quite busy with families, making it harder to shoot.

6. WASTELAND AT NIGHT
This is there the bonfire was shot. This was a good location as we were able to able to create a fire within a confined
space as it was at a house. This way it was less likely for the general public to intervene in the production.

7. WASTELAND AT DAY
This location was another that was very quiet and thus easier to shoot in as there weren’t many
people around. We also had a lot of space to shoot which made it easier to get better shots when
factoring in elements such as wind and sunlight.

8. PADDLING POOL
This location has a lot of graffiti on the walls, making it an ideal spot when showcasing the theme of
youth. There very few people there whilst shooting and the different levels, such as the height of the
structure in the middle of the pool and the high walls, made it so that we were able to capture some
varied shots.

9. TOWN PARK
The natural landscapes present in this location made it so that we were able to capture interesting
shots, for example the use of the pond to skim stones.
