2. Idea 1
• The first idea for my film trailer that I plan on producing is going to be inspired by the
film ‘split’ which focuses around a character named Kevin (James McAvoy) has
evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), there
remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all of the others.
Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey, Kevin
reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him -- as well as everyone
around him -- as the lines between his personalities begin to blur.

3. My idea
• The film trailer that I wish to create I would like to be titled ‘lost
for life’ and the narrative focuses around a young woman who is
experiencing an identity crisis and is attempting to find her
purpose within society. Within my film trailer I am going to focus
on the representation of women within the media and the
stereotypes that are associated with women such as being overly
emotional. Also this may also link the themes of my trailer into
the representation of disability or those who are mentally ill like
the character in my trailer is experiencing.

4. Idea 2
• My second idea for a film trailer takes inspiration from the film ‘get out’ which is
about Rose Armitage taking her boyfriend, Chris Washington, to meet her parents
for the first time. He's a bit uneasy about how they'll treat him, as they're white and
he's black. However, her parents turn out to be unfazed and everything seems to be
going fine. Chris then starts to notice some weird behavioural traits with the African
American staff at the house. The Armitages then throw a huge party and Chris ends
up in some awkward conversations with the guests. He initially just puts it down to
the racial difference, but then the guests', and Armitages', motives start to appear
more sinister.

5. My idea
• My idea for a film trailer is going to be called ‘game on repeat’ and
focuses around someone who has been kidnapped and is being watched
on cctv by his kidnappers as he attempts to recollect the events that
brought him to this place. During the time he is kidnapped the victim is
subjected to physiological torture and is given hallucinogens in large
quantities so his memory becomes distorted and he cannot remember
where he is and how he got there. Within my trailer I am going to focus
on the representation young people and link this to theorists such as Ann
Gould and her 6 stereotypes that link to the representation of youth and
also Greg Philos theory which relates to how youth are seen as disruptive
within the media and are always shown to be troublesome.

6. Idea 3
• My third idea for my film trailer is inspired by the film ‘ I still know
what you did last summer’ which focuses on a friendship group of
teenagers and them committing a crime and not confessing to it until a
year later when the past comes back to haunt them and they are each
hunted down by a serial killer who contacts them to tell them that he
knows that they have committed this murder and is now seeking
vengeance on this group of friends.

7. My idea
• My final idea for my trailer is called ‘the keys’ and focuses around
a group of seven young people who have been brought together by
each winning a competition to take them on a once in a lifetime
holidays to the Florida Keys. However what these people don’t
know is that they have been gathered together as each of these
individuals has committed one of the seven deadly sins and they
have been bought on this trip in order to redeem themselves or be
punished for this.
