- 2. Location My chosen location for my film is Ogden. Everything that is in the opening sequence is planned on being filmed in Ogden. However, my film will not be filmed on the pedestrian footpaths were visitors will normally walk – to create the effect that this forest is empty. I will attempt to film my opening sequence when the sun is about to go down to help assist me with the dim lighting, to link in with my chosen genre of Thriller. Another reason why I want to film just before the sun goes down is because there is natural darkness and the audience will be aware of this and therefore it will make the opening sequence more tense and suspenseful. There are many advantages with using Ogden as my setting for my opening sequence, as the forest is vast, so there are many places within the forest I will have an opportunity to film in. Not only this but the trees can act as cover if it were to rain. Furthermore, there is a lot of eco systems in the Ogden reservoir, which will add to the cacophony of sounds, which will prove advantageous as these sounds can provoke fear into the protagonist's head’s. Although I will avoid the main footpaths, there are a lot of people who visit Ogden and take unexpected routes through the forest, so this may interrupt filming. But
