experience in developing high performing

large organisations. He is currently heading the
HR and Admin function at TATA Power SED
and is part of the senior leadership team.
He is passionate about maximising human
talent and has made his passion his profession.
His strengths based approach towards
Competency based HRM, evolving and
executing HR Strategies, Management Training
and OD along with his strong belief in “If it is
to be, it is up to me!’ has led him to lead large
organisations to develop high performing
teams in India with a strong record of
leadership.
It was also easy for him to work comfortably
across business models - be it an NGO or a
family owned start-up or a professionally
managed company and make significant
contributions. He was able to quickly grasp the
business vagaries and work in anticipation of
the end results – building a solid foundation
and setting huge benchmarks for himself and
an example for his peers and team.
An extremely warm, soft spoken and very
creative person, he is a keen observer and a
quick learner. He has a knack of dealing with
people and adapts himself to suit various
situations and people.

Career Profile (Starting from Current)
TATAtian since Sept 2005. Consistently
delivering ‘beyond expectations’, have earned
laurels and grown in seniority. Started stint
with TATA International heading the L&OD and
was transferred to Tata Power as part of Group
Talent mobility process. In Tata Power headed
the Talent & OD at Corporate HR from August
06 – July 08. Presently, Head HR & Admin with
Tata Power Strategic Engineering Division,
Mumbai since Aug 08. Identified as a ‘Hi-pot’
for years in a row.
Nov 04 - Manager, HR & Admin with a start up
company - Cosmos Brands International Group
Responsible for setting up and heading the
entire gamut of HR & Admin.
Aug 98 - Started the career as an HR Executive
with CRS – a multinational funding agency
based in USA (founded in 1943). During his
first stint his work got recognition followed
with a string of successive promotions to
senior roles and enviable strategic
assignments. Rose upto the level of Head HR
for the Indian Operations spanning across 12
State Offices in India.
