• Born on August 28, 1969 in Washington D.C to a
Jewish American family.
• A member of the ‘National Honor Society’.
• Graduation – In 1991, B.A. in Economics at
Harvard College.
• Awarded the ‘John H. Williams Prize’ for the top
graduating student in economics.
• Saved her family business from financial ruin.
• Larry Summers, recruited her to be his Research
Assistant at the World Bank.
• One year on health projects in India dealing with
leprosy, AIDS, and blindness.
• In 1995,earned her M.B.A. at Harvard Business
School.
• An American technology executive, activist, and an
author.
• In June 2012, elected to the Board of Directors.
• From August 2013, she is the Chief Operating Officer
of Facebook.
• One of the world’s richest self-made female
entrepreneurs.
• Known as a 'Silicon Valley superstar'.
EARLY CARRIER
• Management Consultant for McKinsey & Company
(1995-1996).
• Chief of Staff to The United States Secretary of the
Treasury under President Bill Clinton for Asian
financial crisis (1996 -2001).
• Google Inc. as its Vice President of Global Online
Sales operations and was responsible for Google's
advertising (2001-2008).
SANDBERG INTO FACEBOOK
• In 2007, Mark Zuckerberg met Sandberg,he thought
Sandberg as "a perfect fit" for the COO role.
• In March 2008, Facebook announced hiring Sheryl
Sandberg away from Google.
SUCCESS STORY IN FACEBOOK
• She wanted to rely on advertising with the ads
discreetly presented by 2010 , Facebook became
profitable.
• She starting heading the firm's business operations
including Sales, Marketing, Business Development,
Human Resources, Public Policy and
Communications.
SANDBERG'S BOOK
• In March 2013,
‘Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead’
• Its about business leadership and development, issues
with the lack of women in business leadership
positions.
• Sold more than one million copies.

• In 2010, ranked one of the top 50 "Most Powerful

• In 2007, ranked 19 of the "Women to Watch“ by

  • 2. LIFE AND EDUCATION • Born on August 28, 1969 in Washington D.C to a Jewish American family. • A member of the ‘National Honor Society’. • Graduation – In 1991, B.A. in Economics at Harvard College. • Awarded the ‘John H. Williams Prize’ for the top graduating student in economics.
  • 3. • Saved her family business from financial ruin. • Larry Summers, recruited her to be his Research Assistant at the World Bank. • One year on health projects in India dealing with leprosy, AIDS, and blindness. • In 1995,earned her M.B.A. at Harvard Business School.
  • 4. • An American technology executive, activist, and an author. • In June 2012, elected to the Board of Directors. • From August 2013, she is the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook. • One of the world’s richest self-made female entrepreneurs. • Known as a 'Silicon Valley superstar'.
  • 5. EARLY CARRIER • Management Consultant for McKinsey & Company (1995-1996). • Chief of Staff to The United States Secretary of the Treasury under President Bill Clinton for Asian financial crisis (1996 -2001). • Google Inc. as its Vice President of Global Online Sales operations and was responsible for Google's advertising (2001-2008).
  • 6. SANDBERG INTO FACEBOOK • In 2007, Mark Zuckerberg met Sandberg,he thought Sandberg as "a perfect fit" for the COO role. • In March 2008, Facebook announced hiring Sheryl Sandberg away from Google.
  • 7. SUCCESS STORY IN FACEBOOK • She wanted to rely on advertising with the ads discreetly presented by 2010 , Facebook became profitable. • She starting heading the firm's business operations including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Human Resources, Public Policy and Communications.
