Purpose
   For students to engage in an in-depth, collaborative inquiry
•   To provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate independence
    and responsibility for their own learning
•   To provide an authentic process for assessing student understanding

•   To demonstrate how students can take action as a result of their learning
•   To unite students, teachers, parents and other members of the
    school community in a collaborative experience that incorporates
    the essential elements of the PYP

• To celebrate the transition of learners from primary to
  middle/secondary education
Planning
  Students will collaborate with teachers to identify the:

 • Issues/problems to be solved
 • Intended learning outcomes
 • Activities which will take place
 • Assessment criteria
The exhibition must entail:

                 What are the points of view?                     How is it connected to other things?

What is it like?
                            • incorporate 8 key questions                 Why is it like it is?
                                      How is it changing?       How do we know?              How does it work?
      What is our responsibility?
                     • require all students to use the transdisciplinary skills
 Social skills      Research skills    Thinking skills      Communication skills      Self-management skills

            • offer opportunities for all students to display positive attitudes

            • offer opportunities for all students to engage in positive action

            • provide practical applications of all the transdisciplinary themes
