• Errands and grocery shopping
• Transportation to medical appointments
• Escorts to activities and outings

• Medication reminders

10. HOSPICE CARE
Services typically include:
• Pain and symptom relief
• Nursing visits
• Bath aid
• Social worker
• Chaplain
• Volunteers
• Bereavement counselor

11. PALLIATIVE CARE
Services typically include:
• Providing relief from pain and other distressing symptoms
• Affirms life and regards dying as a normal process
• A support system to help patients live as actively as
possible until death
• A support system to help the family cope during the
patients illness and in their own bereavement
• A team approach to address the needs of patients and
their families, including bereavement counselling, if
indicated
• Enhancement of quality of life, and may also positively
influence the course of illness

Services typically include:
• Physicians
• Podiatry
• Radiology

• Dermatology

• Free rides to and from appointments
• Non-ambulatory, non-medical
