The document provides an overview of Flex components and frameworks. It discusses that Flex is an open source framework for building rich internet applications that run across browsers and operating systems. It allows for creating reusable UI components in MXML or ActionScript and integrating with other technologies like Java via BlazeDS. The document also provides examples of using MXML and ActionScript to define and extend components.

When editing finished product photographs in Photoshop, shortcuts are a terrific method to expedite the editing process. But, there are so many that it's impossible to keep track of them all, especially if photo editing isn't your primary duty.
For this reason, we've put together a useful guide that includes a printable cheat sheet that you can pin to your desktop or use as a quick reference for all the Photoshop shortcuts you need to know to make pixel-perfect alterations to product photos.
INTRO TO XPRESSION CG
Xpression CG is character generator software that gives you the ability to create dynamic graphics for your studio production. This PC computer-based application gives producers the ability to create titles, lower thirds, credits and add pre-created video opens, roll-ins and PSAs to your production.
This tutorial shows some lessons learned by us and our layer developers during the creation of 3D content.

Architecture diagrams are a great way to communicate your design, deployment, and topology. On this page you will find an official collection of AWS Architecture Icons (formerly Simple Icons) that contain AWS product icons, resources, and other tools to help you build diagrams.
Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

State of ICS and IoT Cyber Threat Landscape Report 2024 previewPrayukth K V
The IoT and OT threat landscape report has been prepared by the Threat Research Team at Sectrio using data from Sectrio, cyber threat intelligence farming facilities spread across over 85 cities around the world. In addition, Sectrio also runs AI-based advanced threat and payload engagement facilities that serve as sinks to attract and engage sophisticated threat actors, and newer malware including new variants and latent threats that are at an earlier stage of development.
The latest edition of the OT/ICS and IoT security Threat Landscape Report 2024 also covers:
State of global ICS asset and network exposure
Sectoral targets and attacks as well as the cost of ransom
Global APT activity, AI usage, actor and tactic profiles, and implications
Rise in volumes of AI-powered cyberattacks
Major cyber events in 2024
Malware and malicious payload trends
Cyberattack types and targets
Vulnerability exploit attempts on CVEs
Attacks on counties – USA
Expansion of bot farms – how, where, and why
In-depth analysis of the cyber threat landscape across North America, South America, Europe, APAC, and the Middle East

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

17. Mnemonics - Introduction Mnemonics are the small square graphics used as application icons in product and to represent Adobe’s products and technologies in marketing materials. Mnemonics occasionally change, so please be sure to consult Brand Center (www.adobe.com/brandcenter) to make sure you are using the latest versions. Do NOT create your own mnemonics or alter them in any way. CS3 vs. CS4 style CS3 style mnemonics have white lettering. CS4 style mnemonics have dark lettering. As of the publishing date of this deck, CS4 products have not launched, so only use the CS4 mnemonics when talking about the future version of the product.
18. Mnemonics – Using the mnemonics in PPT PowerPoint-ready versions (PNG files) of the mnemonics can be found on Brand Center in two versions - with and without a drop shadow. You may choose to use the version with a drop shadow to help make them stand out from the background. If your slide has a lot of design, it might be cleaner to use the version without a drop shadow. The mnemonics should always be visually tied to the product name. Please note: The EPS files on Brand Center are not for use in PowerPoint. They will have a white (not transparent) background in PPT. Also, the PNG files will keep your overall file size down. No shadow With shadow EPS file PNG file
19. Mnemonics - Sizing Mnemonics are perfect squares and should always be resized proportionally so they never loose their square shape. The minimum size for the mnemonic is .25" and it should not be scaled over 4". 4” 4” .25”

30. Point A Point B Point C Point D Nesting One Two Three Four Five Six Point A Point B Point C Point D Nesting One Two Three Four Five Six Resizing a box is an annoying task. After enlarging the whole object, you have to ungroup and manually resize the shadow and highlight, and adjust the corner radii on all three objects Changed the color of the arrow to add emphasis to a point Shadows can be added on lighter backgrounds – remember to only add a shadow to the base object, and not the reflection or shadow Due to the nature of the diagonal gradient, semi-transparent shadows are the way to go when nesting. That way you can use the same shadow color for all boxes and it will look right
