This document outlines the script development process for a short film about a girl named Sylvia with split personality disorder. The initial script took place at an airport but had to be changed due to filming constraints. Later drafts incorporated feedback to change the location, reduce the number of characters, and minimize filming locations. The final script takes place at a park and features two lead characters and one supporting character to add humor.

SYNOPSIS
A girl, Sylvia who has split personality planed to meet her
boyfriend at the place where they first met each other.
Sylvia went mad and two personalities started arguing while
the boy’s lateness because he was preparing proposal.

7. EVALUATION
• In this initial script, that is based on my final short film idea I did not
take into consideration location. In some key scenes that were
supposed to be filmed on the airport are beneficial to the story but
due to filming constraints I had to re-evaluate the script and come
up with some creative solutions. Initially I have depicted lead female
character as a career driven individual who has hectic and demanding
work life and therefor I needed airport location to visually depict that.
In order to make location and script changes I have decided that
instead of airport location film main scenes at the bus coach station.
During pre-production location search I will need to consult with
authorities about filming permission.

12. EVALUATION
• In the second script draft I have incorporated location changes
but after presenting my short film script idea to the media
studies students I have realised that all three characters are of
different age group and that each role is very demanding in
regards to acting. I still do believe that the mother in law
character would attract additional audience but as I would need
to develop the script and the dialogues the short film would be
longer than five minutes. Another suggestion was that the lead
female character name is to symbolic and that doesn't go with
her personality.

15. EVALUATION
• In third script development I have focused on two lead
characters and their interaction and the scene at the bus stop. I
have decided to minimise the number of filming locations
mostly because I have removed mother in law character from
the plot. In addition I have added one supporting character in
order to add more interest to the story and to highlight the
problems main female character has with her disorder.

EVALUATION
• In the final script I have
incorporated all of the proposed
and creative changes. After
consultation with the teacher and
bus stop authorities I have decided
to make location change. The story
will take place at the park which
would bring romantic note to the
film and it will make filming
easier. The supporting character is
changed into a mature man which
will give humorous element to the
film.
