population and leaves the survivors
struggling to find food and shelter.
However, this disaster reunites two
childhood friends who lost touch with
each other a long time ago. Their
friendship grows as they attempt living
in rough post-apocalyptic conditions.
Meanwhile, their city is occupied by a
large gang that searches for healthy
young women to carry their children.
Their problems only get bigger when it’s
revealed to one that her only company
and best friend is also affected by the
deadly illness.
FILM SYNOPSIS
The opening sequence is a montage
of moments leading up to the two
protagonists, Angela and Indigo,
reuniting in a world much different
than when they used to be friends.
They have different ways of
surviving the cruel post-apocalyptic
conditions, which are shown in this
montage. Indigo is sustaining
herself by looking for supplies in
the streets, while Angela manages
living in the safety of her home.
Their encounter occurs due Indigo
receiving messages Angela sent
each day.
4. INITIAL SCRIPT EVALUATION AND
DEVELOPMENT
As i went through the first version of the script, I concluded that some scenes aren’t quick enough and don’t have the pace that I
wanted, so the number of scenes was increased, but they were shorter. This was also done to portray as many characteristics of the
protagonists, setting and mood as possible.
Certain facts mentioned just seemed too unrealistic, so they were adapted to a more believable and doable scenario.
Since there is little dialogue, I had to use descriptive language in order to convey what was happening in the scene.
5. FINAL SCRIPT
The final version of the script will be e-mailed to the cast several days before their filming day, so less time will be wasted on
revising the script on the set.
6. ROUGH
STORYBOARD
In the storyboard I tried to use
different types of shots in order to
convey different moods and the
atmosphere of the film and also
demonstrate my knowledge of types of
shots and executing them.

9. OVER THE SHOULDER SHOT CU
XCU
MS
The photo story did not include all shots that will be in the final
film, just some that will help me frame them better for the actual
filming and give me an idea of what they look like in real life,
rather than just on paper. It helped me see what needs to be
corrected and which shots would look better if they were done
differently. It provides a reference for the filming and offers
space for improvement.
