This document provides an introduction to Scratch, a visual programming language for creating interactive stories, games, and animations. The syllabus covers stories, games, advanced techniques like cloning and video editing, and sharing creations online. Students have 120 hours over 2-3 months to complete the course, which is taught in English and includes interactive eLearning content. Get Ready for Exciting Journey in the World of SCRATCH...!!!

3. INTRODUCTION
• Scratch is free visual programming language. You will
learn how to create your own interactive stories,
amazing games, animated images and songs in just
minutes with a simple ‘drag and drop’ interface. No
previous programming knowledge needed. You can also
share your creations with others in the online community.

5. Duration and Medium
 120 Hours to be covered in either 2 months (8 weeks) or
3 months (12 weeks).
 The medium of instruction is English.
 MKCL provided world-class interactive eLearning content at
no extra cost.

6. Evaluation Pattern
• Section 1 (auto-marking): 25 marks - Learning Progression
• Section 2 (auto-marking): 25 marks - Internal Assessment
• Section 3 (auto-marking): 50 marks - Final Online Examination

7. Important Dates
 Batch Commencement: One batch in each calendar month (January
to December)
 Date(s) of Application and Fee Payment by Learner: 1st -15th day of
each calendar month
 Date(s) of Learner Confirmation by ALC: 1st -20th day of each
calendar month

8. ALC Support Facility
 ALCs can now directly raise their issues through
their SOLAR login.
 SBU Coordinator will resolve the issue and re-
assign the issue to respective ALC.

9. MI Action Agenda
 MI should learn Scratch Course.
 Conduct Scratch events in ALC visit.
 From 15th June Conduct Scratch events for 5th to 8th
std. School Students and tuition classes.
