dynamically turning on/off some base stations (BSs) in order to
improve energy efficiency in radio access networks (RANs). In
this survey, we broaden the research over BS switching
operations, which should competition up with traffic load
variations. The proposed method formulate the traffic variations
as a Markov decision process which should differ from dynamic

A reinforcement learning framework based BS switching

A NEW DATA ENCODER AND DECODER SCHEME FOR NETWORK ON CHIPEditor IJMTER
System-on-chip (soc) based system has so many disadvantages in power-dissipation as
well as clock rate while the data transfer from one system to another system in on-chip. At the same
time, a higher operated system does not support the lower operated bus network for data transfer.
However an alternative scheme is proposed for high speed data transfer. But this scheme is limited to
SOCs. Unlike soc, network-on-chip (NOC) has so many advantages for data transfer. It has a special
feature to transfer the data in on-chip named as transitional encoder. Its operation is based on input
transitions. At the same time it supports systems which are higher operated frequencies. In this
project, a low-power encoding scheme is proposed. The proposed system yields lower dynamic
power dissipation due to the reduction of switching activity and coupling switching activity when
compared to existing system. Even-though many factors which is based on power dissipation, the
dynamic power dissipation is only considerable for reasonable advantage. The proposed system is
synthesized using quartus II 9.1 software. Besides, the proposed system will be extended up to
interlink PE communication with help of routers and PE’s which are performed by various
operations. To implement this system in real NOC’s contains the proposed encoders and decoders for
data transfer with regular traffic scenarios should be considered.

Communication Cost Reduction by Data Aggregation: A SurveyIJMTST Journal
Wireless Sensor Networks have gained wide popularity in the recent years for its high-ranking applications such as remote environment monitoring, target tracking, safety-critical monitoring etc. However Wireless Sensor Networks face many constraints like low computational power, small storage, and limited energy resources. One of the important issues in wireless sensor network is to increase the network lifetime to keep the network operational as long as possible. In this survey paper, we provide a comprehensive review of the existing literature on techniques and protocols for data aggregation to reduce communication cost and increase network lifetime in wireless sensor networks.
Multi-objective optimal placement of distributed generations for dynamic loadsIJECEIAES
Large amount of active power losses and low voltage profile are the two major issues concerning the integration of distributed generations with existing power system networks. High R/X ratio and long distance of radial network further aggravates the issues. Optimal placement of distributed generators can address these issues significantly by alleviating active power losses and ameliorating voltage profile in a cost effective manner. In this research, multi-objective optimal placement problem is decomposed into minimization of total active power losses, maximization of bus voltage profile enhancement and minimization of total generation cost of a power system network for static and dynamic load characteristics. Optimum utilization factor for installed generators and available loads is scaled by the analysis of yearly load-demand curve of a network. The developed algorithm of N-bus system is implemented in IEEE-14 bus standard test system to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method in different loading conditions.
Recent changes to the existing power grid are expected to influence the way energy is provided and consumed by customers. Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is a tool to incorporate these changes for modernizing the electricity grid. Growing energy needs are forcing government agencies and utility companies to move towards AMI systems as part of larger smart grid initiatives. The smart grid promises to enable a more reliable, sustainable, and efficient power grid by taking advantage of information and communication technologies. However, this information-based power grid can reveal sensitive private information from the user’s perspective due to its ability to gather highly granular power consumption data. This has resulted in limited consumer acceptance and proliferation of the smart grid. Hence, it is crucial to design a mechanism to prevent the leakage of such sensitive consumer usage information in
smart grid. Among different solutions for preserving consumer privacy in Smart Grid Network(SGN), private data aggregation techniques have received a tremendous focus from security researchers. Existing privacy-preserving aggregation mechanisms in SGNs utilize cryptographic techniques, specifically homomorphic properties of public-key cryptosystems. Such homomorphic approaches are bandwidthintensive (due to large output blocks they generate), and in most cases, are computationally complex. In this paper, we present a novel and efficient CDMA-based approach to achieve privacy-preserving aggregation in SGNs by utilizing random perturbation of power consumption data and with limited use of traditional cryptography. We evaluate and validate the efficiency and performance of our proposed privacy preserving data aggregation scheme through extensive statistical analyses and simulations.

Mobile Agents based Energy Efficient Routing for Wireless Sensor NetworksEswar Publications
Energy Efficiency and prolonged network lifetime are few of the major concern areas. Energy consumption rated of sensor nodes can be reduced in various ways. Data aggregation, result sharing and filtration of aggregated data among sensor nodes deployed in the unattended regions have been few of the most researched areas in the field of wireless sensor networks. While data aggregation is concerned with minimizing the information transfer from source to sink to reduce network traffic and removing congestion in network, result sharing focuses on sharing of information among agents pertinent to the tasks at hand and filtration of aggregated data so as to remove redundant information. There exist various algorithms for data aggregation and filtration using different mobile agents. In this proposed work same mobile agent is used to perform both tasks data aggregation and data filtration. This approach advocates the sharing of resources and reducing the energy consumption level of sensor nodes.
A Grouped System Architecture for Smart Grids Based AMI Communications Over LTE ijwmn
A smart grid based Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), is a technology that enables the utilities to
monitor and control the electricity consumption through a set of various smart meters (SMs) connected via
a two way communication infrastructure. One of the key challenges for smart grids is how to connect a
large number of devices. On the other hand, 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE), the latest standard for mobile
communications, was developed to provide stable service performance and higher data rates for a large
number of mobile users. Therefore, LTE is considered a promising solution for wide area connectivity for
SMs. In this paper, a grouped hierarchal architecture for SMs communications over LTE is introduced.
Then, an efficient grouped scheduling technique is proposed for SMs transmissions over LTE. The
proposed architecture efficiently solves the overload problem due to AMI traffic and guarantees a full
monitoring and control for energy consumption. The results of our suggested solution showed that LTE can
serve better for smart grids based AMI with particular grouping and scheduling scheme. In addition, the
presented technique can able to be used in urban areas having high density of SMs.
A MIN-MAX SCHEDULING LOAD BALANCED APPROACH TO ENHANCE ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND ...IJCNCJournal
Energy efficiency and traffic management in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) is a complex process due
to the self-organizing nature of the nodes. Quality of service (QoS) of the network is achieved by
addressing the issues concerned with load handling and energy conservation. This manuscript proposes a
min-max scheduling (M2S) algorithm for energy efficiency and load balancing (LB) in MANETs. The
algorithm operates in two phases: neighbor selection and load balancing. In state selection, the
transmission of the node is altered based on its energy and packet delivery factor. In the load balancing
phase, the selected nodes are induced by queuing and scheduling the process to improve the rate of load
dissemination. The different processes are intended to improve the packet delivery factor (PDF) by
selecting appropriate node transmission states. The transmission states of the nodes are classified through
periodic remaining energy update; the queuing and scheduling process is dynamically adjusted with energy
consideration. A weight-based normalized function eases neighbor selection by determining the most
precise neighbor that satisfies transmission and energy constraints. The results of the proposed M2SLB
(Min-Max Scheduling Load Balancing) proves the consistency of the proposed algorithm by improving the
network throughput, packet delivery ratio and minimizing delay and packet loss by retaining higher
remaining energy.
A LOW-ENERGY DATA AGGREGATION PROTOCOL USING AN EMERGENCY EFFICIENT HYBRID ME...IJCNCJournal
Recent wireless sensor network focused on developing communication networks with minimal power and cost. To achieve this, several techniques have been developed to monitor a completely wireless sensor network. Generally, in the WSN network, communication is established between the source nodes and the destination node with an abundant number of hops, an activity which consumes much energy. The node existing between source and destination nodes consumes energy for transmission of data and maximize network lifetime. To overcome this issue, a new Emergency Efficient Hybrid Medium Access Control (EEHMAC) protocol is presented to reduce consumption of energy among a specific group of WSNs which will increase the network lifetime. The proposed model makes a residual battery is utilized for effective transmission of data with minimal power consumption. Compared with other models, the experimental results strongly showed that our model is not only able to reduce network lifetime but also to increase the overall network performance.

Energy-Efficient Compressive Data Gathering Utilizing Virtual Multi-Input Mul...TELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
Data gathering is an attractive operation for obtaining information in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). But one of important challenges is to minimize energy consumption of networks. In this paper, an integration of distributed compressive sensing (CS) and virtual multi-input multi-output (vMIMO) in WSNs is proposed to significantly decrease the data gathering cost. The scheme first constructs a distributed data compression model based on low density parity check-like (LDPC-like) codes. Then a cluster-based dynamic virtual MIMO transmission protocol is proposed. The number of clusters, number of cooperative nodes and the constellation size are determined by a new established optimization model under the restrictions of compression model. Finally, simulation results show that the scheme can reduce the data gathering cost and prolong the sensor network’s lifetime in a reliable guarantee of sensory data recovery quality.
Channel Capacity Maximization using NQHN Approach at Heterogeneous NetworkIJECEIAES
In present scenario, the high speed data transmission services has pushed limits for wireless communication network capacity, at same time multimedia transmission in real-time needs provision of QoS, therefore the network capacity and small cell coverage has comes with lots of challenges. Improving the channel capacity and coverage area within the available bandwidth is necessary to provide better QoS to users, and improved channel capacity for the FCUs and MCUs in network. In this paper, we are proposing an NQHN approach that incorporate with efficient power allocation, improving the channel capacity by optimized traffic scheduling process in a small cell HetNets scenario. This work efficiently handle the interference with maintaining the user QoS and the implemented power controller uses HeNB power as per the real time based approach for macro-cell and femto-cell. Moreover, we consider the real traffic scenario to check the performance of our proposed approach with respect to existing algorithm.

The proper function of the integrated circuit (IC) in an inhibiting electromagnetic environment has always been a serious concern throughout the decades of revolution in the world of electronics, from disjunct devices to today’s integrated circuit technology, where billions of transistors are combined on a single chip. The automotive industry and smart vehicles in particular, are confronting design issues such as being prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Electronic control devices calculate incorrect outputs because of EMI and sensors give misleading values which can prove fatal in case of automotives. In this paper, the authors have non exhaustively tried to review research work concerned with the investigation of EMI in ICs and prediction of this EMI using various modelling methodologies and measurement setups.

Online aptitude test management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The purpose of on-line aptitude test system is to take online test in an efficient manner and no time wasting for checking the paper. The main objective of on-line aptitude test system is to efficiently evaluate the candidate thoroughly through a fully automated system that not only saves lot of time but also gives fast results. For students they give papers according to their convenience and time and there is no need of using extra thing like paper, pen etc. This can be used in educational institutions as well as in corporate world. Can be used anywhere any time as it is a web based application (user Location doesn’t matter). No restriction that examiner has to be present when the candidate takes the test.
Every time when lecturers/professors need to conduct examinations they have to sit down think about the questions and then create a whole new set of questions for each and every exam. In some cases the professor may want to give an open book online exam that is the student can take the exam any time anywhere, but the student might have to answer the questions in a limited time period. The professor may want to change the sequence of questions for every student. The problem that a student has is whenever a date for the exam is declared the student has to take it and there is no way he can take it at some other time. This project will create an interface for the examiner to create and store questions in a repository. It will also create an interface for the student to take examinations at his convenience and the questions and/or exams may be timed. Thereby creating an application which can be used by examiners and examinee’s simultaneously.
Examination System is very useful for Teachers/Professors. As in the teaching profession, you are responsible for writing question papers. In the conventional method, you write the question paper on paper, keep question papers separate from answers and all this information you have to keep in a locker to avoid unauthorized access. Using the Examination System you can create a question paper and everything will be written to a single exam file in encrypted format. You can set the General and Administrator password to avoid unauthorized access to your question paper. Every time you start the examination, the program shuffles all the questions and selects them randomly from the database, which reduces the chances of memorizing the questions.

NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.
Harnessing WebAssembly for Real-time Stateless Streaming PipelinesChristina Lin
Traditionally, dealing with real-time data pipelines has involved significant overhead, even for straightforward tasks like data transformation or masking. However, in this talk, we’ll venture into the dynamic realm of WebAssembly (WASM) and discover how it can revolutionize the creation of stateless streaming pipelines within a Kafka (Redpanda) broker. These pipelines are adept at managing low-latency, high-data-volume scenarios.
HEAP SORT ILLUSTRATED WITH HEAPIFY, BUILD HEAP FOR DYNAMIC ARRAYS.
Heap sort is a comparison-based sorting technique based on Binary Heap data structure. It is similar to the selection sort where we first find the minimum element and place the minimum element at the beginning. Repeat the same process for the remaining elements.
Scalable meter data collection in smart grids through message concatenation
1. SCALABLE METER DATA COLLECTION IN SMART GRIDS THROUGH MESSAGE
CONCATENATION
ABSTRACT
Advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) initiatives are a popular tool to incorporate
changes for modernizing the electricity grid, reduce peak loads, and meet energy efficiency
targets. There is the looming issue of how to communicate and handle consumer data collected
by electric utilities and manage limited communication network resources. Several data relay
points are required to collect data distributedly and send them through a communication
backhaul. This paper studies the smart meter message concatenation (SMMC) problem of how to
efficiently concatenate multiple small smart metering messages arriving at data concentrator
units in order to reduce protocol overhead and thus network utilization. This problem needs to
deal with the added constraint that each originating message from its source may have its own
stated deadline that must be taken into account during the concatenation process. This paper
provides hardness results for the SMMC problem, and proposes six heuristics and evaluates them
to gain a better understanding of the best data volume reduction policies that can be applied at
data concentrators of AMI infrastructures. These results are further tested for feasibility under
practical settings based on aspects, such as network and processing delays, tightness of
application deadlines, and lossy backhaul links.
