Wind energy is one of the fastest growing renewable energies in the world. This is because it has a much lower environmental impact than conventional energy. In addition, it is one of the lowest-priced renewable energy technologies. Due to wind speed variation, induction generators are the best choice for such applications. However, they have poor voltage and frequency regulation against wind speed or load variations. For its operation, the induction generator needs a reasonable amount of reactive power. In stand-alone applications, the reactive power could be supplied to the induction generator by a bank of capacitors as implemented here. In this paper, simulation of wind turbine driven self excited induction generator (SEIG) has been carried out. Three methods of voltage and frequency regulation have been presented, simulated and analyzed. The aim of this paper is to compare the three methods from many aspects highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each one.

The dynamic voltage, current, power and frequency developed by the induction generator have been analyzed. The dq modeling approach for transient state analysis in time domain of the three phase self excited induction generator with squirrel cage rotor is presented along with its operating performance evaluations. В последнее в время мне довелось много общаться с представителями так называемой веб-культуры. Для меня было открытием, что в России существует такая продвинутая школа разработки, и в условиях сегодняшнего дня, долларовых вендоров и ограничений, все российское становится более чем актуально. Тем не менее, каждое общение с веб оставляло у меня двойственное впечатление. Либо все было чересчур технично, детально и непонятно, ЗАЧЕМ, либо не было понятно, КАК это все довести до воплощения. То, с чем пришлось столкнуться — это глубокое непонимание того, как работает IТ-направление в крупной компании, где IТ не является бизнесом, а в лучшем случае оказывает бизнесу поддержку, чаще всего, является сервисным подразделением. Это непонимание складывается на нескольких уровнях: - Постановка цели и формирование плана; - IТ-системы на балансе предприятия как неключевые активы; - Реальности отношения бизнеса к IТ и роль стратегических партнеров; - Реализация полного цикла — от идеи и реализации до эксплуатации и утилизации; - Инерционность корпораций и разрушительность инноваций; - Приоритеты IТ-департамента и его директора; - Критерии поиска, выбора и принятия решения; - Эффективное построение взаимоотношений с IТ-дирекцией предприятия. Об этом и поговорим. Идеи из веб, которые мне удалось услышать, кажутся интересными и перспективными, однако предстоит большой путь для того, чтобы люди могли услышать друг друга и, наконец-то, приступить к реальным проектам. Меняться нужно всем, крупным меняться тяжелее. Я не скажу вам, КАК лучше работать с корпорациями, могу только показать, ЧТО корпорации ожидают от инновационных парт

Wind turbines use the kinetic energy of the wind for generating the electricity by using ac generators. The produced energy mainly depends on the wind speed and the swept area of the turbine. As the wind speed increases accordingly the dimensions of the blades of wind turbine reduces. The blades are made auto adjustable with the help of stepper motor and control unit mounted on it. The wind turbine blades power and efficiency has been measured at different tip-speed-ratios and a maximum efficiency of 30% at 1.27 N/m3 air density. Present work gives an insight into the design aspects of a wind turbine, like turbine blade design, wind power and output power calculation. This paper proposes a control strategy for an IPM synchronous generator-based variable speed wind turbine this control technique is simple and has many advantages over indirect vector control technique as in this scheme, the requirement of the continuous rotor position is eliminated as all the calculations are done in the stator reference frame and can eliminate some of the drawbacks of traditional indirect vector control scheme. This scheme possesses advantages such as lesser parameter dependence and reduced number of controllers compared with the traditional indirect vector control scheme Furthermore, the system is unaffected to variation in parameters because stator resistance is the only required criteria. This control technique is implemented in MATLAB/Sim power systems and the simulation results shows that this suggested control technique works well and can operate under constant and varying wind speeds. Finally, a sensorless speed estimator is implemented, which enables the wind turbine to operate without the mechanical speed sensor.

This paper presents a study analysis of a complete wind energy conversion system, the system based on a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG); a vector control with stator flux orientation of the DFIG is also used to control independently the active and reactive powers. A comparative study have been performed between the conventional PI controller and fuzzy logic control to investigate its dynamic and static performances. This research work involves the study of a phase in advance, to provide effective assistance, to all those who have to make decisions regarding the planning and implementation of wind energy projects. The main objective is to model the wind chain and the use of two types of strategies for the control of this generator to ensure a good regulation we started with the modeling of the wind chain then the modeling of the DFIG and then the use of the two strategies for the regulation of the latter .The complete system is modeled and simulated in the MATLAB/ Simulink. The performance and robustness are analyzed and compared by Matlab / Simulink .Simulation results prove the excellent performance of fuzzy control unit as improving power quality and stability of wind turbine.

Wind energy has many advantages, it does not pollute and it is an inexhaustible source. However, the cost of this energy is still too high to compete with traditional fossil fuels, especially on sites less windy. The performance of a wind turbine depends on three parameters: the power of wind, the power curve of the turbine and the generator's ability to respond to wind fluctuations. This paper presents a control chain conversion based on a double-fed asynchronous machine (D.F.I.G). To improve the transient and steady state performance and the power factor of generation, a stator flux oriented vector control scheme is used in this work. The vector control structure employs conventional PI controllers for the decoupled control of the stator side active and reactive power. The whole system is modeled and simulated using Matlab/Simulink and the results are analyzed.

Automation is the utilization of technology to replace human with a machine that can perform more quickly and more continuously. By automating SMS documents that took up many large storage rooms can be stored on few disks. Transcript images can be annotate. It reduces the time to retrieve old transcripts from hours to seconds.
