I volunteer at the Kennedy Health Care Center, and as a volunteer, I am directly involved with the
long term care patients of the facility. Throughout the whole experience, I learned a great deal about
interacting with confused and scared individuals because many of the residents at the facility have

Highlights of my activities:
As a part of the required activities for the course EGR9220 Teaching in Higher Education Practicum at
Villanova University, I have had the opportunity to teach a few sessions for CEE2105 for fall semester
2017, supervised by Dr. David Dinehart. On Wednesday November 1st, I recorded two lectures to be
posted on the blackboard and viewed by students prior to their in class session on the following Friday
and Monday. I received the PowerPoint slides for those recorded session from Dr. Dinehart, however,
added certain material to them with his consent. In particular, I added a nine step problem solving
procedure to be implemented during in class sessions, 37 and 38. The total duration of the recorded
sessions was about 26 minutes. The first recording was titled Centroids of the composite areas , and
the second recording was titled Centroid of composite areas, lines, and volumes .
On Friday November 3rd, I instructed two in class problem solving sessions from 8:30 AM to 9:20
AM, and from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM, both on the topic of centroids of composite areas. From the two

The name of the film has to stand out from a distance so there is no mistaking the name of the film

Cold Little Bird, a short story by Ben Marcus, is about an intelligent young boy whose parents
struggle coping with his emotional detachment. Throughout the story, the boy s father, Martin, has the
reader questioning whether or not there actually is a problem with Jonah or whether he is over
reacting. Through various scenes in the story one may conclude that it is combination of both.
