destination is one that every ski enthusiast should try to get to. A trip down these slopes will leave
you in utter ecstasy for some time to come.
* Mont Tremblant Resort: Located in Quebec and only a one hour drive from Montreal, this ski
resort has something for everyone. Known to play host to a good number of tourists per year,
the only gripe with this ski mecca is that it tends to be a bit more on the expensive side, but it is
always a hopping place and the slopes are never at a loss for magic or action. The village at the
bottom of the slopes caters to locals and visitors alike and makes for a warm welcome when you
are not shushing down the sloped.
* Le Massif Resort: While the number of skiable acres is only a scant 410, you can rest assured
that this doesn t mean a shortage on challenges. In fact, this ski resort is more tailored to the
advanced skier versus the beginner, though there are some slopes for the beginners as well. It is in
close proximity to Quebec City so there is no shortage of things to do when you are not hitting the
slopes. Although, you shouldn t expect to do much more than ski at this resort as many of the
