Sample Essay About Education
Crafting an essay on the subject of education might initially seem like a straightforward task,
given the abundance of information available on the topic. However, delving into the intricacies
of education requires a thoughtful and comprehensive approach that goes beyond the surface-
level details. The difficulty lies in striking a balance between providing a broad overview and
delving into specific aspects of education without becoming too broad or too narrow in scope.
One challenge is the vastness of the subject itself. Education encompasses a wide array of topics,
from historical perspectives and philosophical theories to contemporary issues and practical
applications. Deciding which aspects to focus on and how to weave them together cohesively
can be a daunting task. Moreover, the evolving nature of education means that staying current
with the latest developments and trends is essential, adding an extra layer of complexity to the
research process.
Additionally, addressing the multifaceted nature of education requires a nuanced understanding
of various disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, economics, and pedagogy. Attempting to
incorporate these diverse perspectives while maintaining clarity and coherence in the essay can
be challenging.
The need for originality and a fresh perspective further complicates the writing process. With
countless essays and research papers on education already in existence, finding a unique angle or
contributing fresh insights to the discourse becomes crucial. Striking a balance between
acknowledging existing scholarship and presenting novel ideas is a delicate task that demands
both creativity and thorough research.
In conclusion, composing an essay on education involves navigating through a complex web of
topics, disciplines, and perspectives. It requires a careful selection of themes, a comprehensive
understanding of the subject matter, and the ability to present information in a compelling and
original manner. While the challenges may be formidable, the potential for contributing to the
ongoing conversation on education makes the effort worthwhile.

The Primary Functions Of Commercial Banks
Commercial banks are institutions that conduct business for profit motive by
accepting public deposits for various investment purposes.
The functions of commercial banks are broadly classified into primary functions and
secondary functions as discussed below:
1.1.6.1Primary Functions
The primary functions of commercial banks include the following:
(i) Accepting Deposits
Implies that commercial banks are mainly dependent on public deposits.
There are two types of deposits:

Banks pay higher interest on time deposits. These deposits can be withdrawn only
after a specific time period is completed by providing a written notice to the bank.
Based on this, commercial banks offer individuals the following accounts for
depositing their money:
a.Current accounts those accounts that are mainly meant for businesses and other
public and private organisations. Current accounts are cheque operated accounts that
are not for savings purposes as no interest is paid on deposits in these accounts.
b.Savings accounts refer to accounts that promote savings among individuals while
allowing them to use their funds when required. Apart from this, individuals get
interests on deposits in savings accounts.
c.Fixed deposit accounts refer to accounts in which deposits are made for a fixed
period. The deposits in these accounts can be withdrawn before the expiry of the
period, only at the cost of early withdrawal charges. The profits are higher, if the
period of deposits is longer.
(ii) Advancing Loans

are used by commercial banks for the purpose of granting loans to individuals and
businesses. Commercial banks grant loans in the form of overdraft, cash credit, and

Essay about Nietzsche and the Prophet
Nietzsche and the Prophet
According to Friedrich Nietzsche s Thus Spoke Zarathustra, the meaning of human
existence is to make room for the Superman : a superhuman who perseveres in its
capacity for unlimited self creation. (Pg. 49)[1] In order for humankind to embrace
its self creative nature and allow for the transcendence into this superhuman
condition, however, we must first learn to destroy our present tables of values; it is
our desperate adherence to traditional (religious) values which prevents us from
actualizing our potential for self creation. It is important to note, however, that it is
not the creation of these traditional values in and of itself that Nietzsche condemns.
After all, self creation is not only a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So, in spite of the immanent desire to be rid of the past, Nietzsche s protagonist,
Zarathustra, finds himself unable to completely sever himself from it. Hence
Zarathustra s struggle to affirm his past while pursuing a self creating future.
The aim of this paper is threefold. First, I will provide evidence for the interpretation
of The Prophet as an elucidation of the struggle of Nietzsche s protagonist to
reconcile this inalienable relationship between the past and the future. In doing so, I
will focus on three main facets of the passage, namely, the prophet, Zarathustra s
dream and, the misinterpretation of the dream by the disciple. Second, I will
demonstrate how The Prophet can simultaneously be interpreted so as to advance
Nietzsche s own view of human nature as self creativity. Third, I will explicate what
ramifications my interpretations of The Prophet has on the relationship between
Nietzsche and his reader.
The Inalienable Relationship Between the Past and the Future
The Prophet begins with Zarathustra being told that Everything is empty, everything
is one, everything is past! . (Pg. 155) That is, the prophet informs Zarathustra that the
present day way of life has become tired and saturated; there is no more advancement
to be made in the absence of a rudimentary transformation of humankind. In short, the
time has come for the self destruction and re creation of humankind; the time has
come for humankind
Talent Acquisition And Retention For The Business World
Talent Acquisition and Retention This paper introduces the concepts of talent
acquisition and retention in the business world. It explains the importance of using
these tools correctly and the role these two important concepts play in the success or
failure of a company. Furthermore, this paper discusses the different areas of talent
acquisition and retention and how help companies attract and retain long term
employees and help companies achieve their goals. Why is it important to attract and
retain the right talent? Attracting the right talent and the ability to retain these
employees is vital to the success of any company. Failure to attract and retain the
right talent created high employee turnover affecting the business financially. The
company will have to invest in recruiting, training, and benefits just to name a few.
In addition, high employee turnover diminishes employee morale and affects
company culture, which in the long run, decreases productivity due to poor
workforce performance and thus, profits decreases. Competition for Talent In order
to attract the right talent, a company or firm needs to be able to compete
successfully with other firms seeking the same talent pool. In order to be able to
compete with other firms, companies need to view employees as their greatest
assets and be willing to invest in the employees. Simply, companies need to be able
to put their employees first in order to be able to compete successfully on employee
talent. According

A revolution is a change or replacement of society or government. A revolution is
mainly heard of when a change in government occurred or in a war like the American
Revolution. The Industrial Revolution was a time of change through technology.
During the Second Industrial Revolution, new inventions were created to change the
way of life. The light bulb was created and the factory business was revived. The
telephone was created and news was spread faster than it ever had. Airplanes and
trains were created and the transportation business was renewed. Although
Christopher Shole s typewriter was not an original idea, his typewriter revolutionized
the place of women in the workplace.
Christopher Sholes was born on February 14, 1819 in Mooresburg, Pennsylvania.
As a child, his family moved to Danville where he grew up. In Danville, he became
an apprentice printer for the Danville newspaper. Once he moved to Wisconsin, he
joined the staff of the Wisconsin Territory s legislative newspaper and then he
became editor of the Wisconsin Inquirer in Madison. In 1841, he moved to Southport
to start the Southport Telegraph with Michael Frank. Then he moved to Milwaukee
and became editor of the Milwaukee Sentinel. In 1861, President Lincoln appointed
him customs collector for the port of Milwaukee. Since Sholes was always busy with
his newspaper positions, he had little time to invent. He became partners in a machine
shop with Samuel W. Soule, and they

The Death Comes By Charles Wyville Thomson,
Commander Of...
Death comes easily. Death comes with diseases spread by people living in close
quarters. Death comes with a lack of nutrients from insufficient food. Death comes
with a misstep that leads to a plunge into rough, frigid ocean waters. These
statements are especially true on board a ship at sea during the time prior to the 20th
century. When people know that death is very likely in a certain situation but still
agree to participate in the situation anyway, they posses a characteristic known as
courage. Two examples of courageous men are Zheng Heand Charles Wyville
Thomson, commanders of very different ocean voyages, and both of these men led
their respective crew members towards death with the hopes of conquering or
exploring new lands. Zheng He, a worker for the emperor of the Ming Dynasty of
China, commanded a giant fleet including 27,000 Chinese soldiers and sailed as far
as the Arabian peninsula and the eastern coast of Africa in seven different voyages,
starting in 1405 (Dreyer 1). Charles Wyville Thomson, a scientist from Britain,
commanded a voyage aboard the HMS Challenger with less than 250 crew members
(Bishop). In his voyage, departing in December of 1872 and returning in May of
1876, Thomson traveled to Antarctica, the Caribbean, South Africa, Hawaii, and
South America (Dreyer xiii). Zheng He s and Charles Wyville Thomson s voyages
differed in terms of purpose, approach, and outcome as well as technological
advancements and human characteristic traits, but the
Motive Behind Helping People
One of my strength is trying my best to help someone without expecting anything
in return. Some people help others because they might receive a favor from that
person one day or the person might give them money. Many people ask me what my
motive behind helping people? My answer is simple, I don t help people because I
have to, but I help people because I think it is a privilege that God give me to further
glorify his name. One of my weakness is when I hear a parent or anybody talking bad
or negative about a kid. For example, strangers might gossip about Mrs. X kid is such
a bad kid, or Mrs. Y might repeatedly tell her kid, why are you so bad? Why can t
you be like the other kids at school? Not knowing that words are powerful, therefore,

Themes In Imagining Argentina
Imagining Argentina is a novel written by Lawrence Thornton, which is set in the
era of the late 1970s of Argentina, during the dirty war. The dirty war came into
effect when a military junta had taken power by force, shortly after the former
president was removed. The main cause of the dirty war was to suppress the people
of Argentinawho are on the side of left wing politically. Anyone suspected or even
related to the side of left wing would have a green falcon visit their home or
wherever they are, and will be kidnapped and tortured, becoming known to the people
as the disappeared . Although thousands of Argentinians have disappeared through
the years of the dirty war, their identity has not disappeared, through the power a
name holds. Carlos Rueda, the protagonist, believes names to be much more than just
a name. A name holds a person s uniqueness; their personality; their identity; and their
story. Carlos is gifted with an imagination, which can predict the fate of the
disappeared through the power these names hold. Although identity is a key theme,
the overall message revolves around imagination. Throughout Imagining Argentina
the use of imagination is always present. Thornton provides a powerful message
which is imagination being our strongest tool; our reality. Imagination helps us
through times of desperation and despair. The human mind is stronger than any
physical force. Our power to imagine helps us stay strong, it helps us identify as
humans. Imagination

the product for protecting from environment and for better life of the product. In
19th century, industries were using candles for sealing. In last few years, many

have very high cost. So, these machines are not affordable by small scale industries.

Matthew Arnold s Writing Of Poetry Essay
Introduction
A prominent humanist, critic, and poet of the 19th century, Matthew Arnold was a
despiser of philistinism; he was a lover and sustainer of art, intellect, spirituality, and
certainly the combination thereof in poetry. Matthew Arnold began his essay, The
Study of Poetry, writing that The future of poetry is immense, and that more and
more of mankind would discover poetry as a consoler, a sustainer of humanity, and
an interpreter of life. He called his audience to conceive of it as capable of higher
uses, and called to higher destinies. Arnold, believing poetry to be of such high
value, was also very dedicated to upholding a high standard in the world of poetry.
His dedication is shown clearly through his writings as a critic, but Arnold was also
a poet himself. His collection is not very well known, and not very vast in number or
range. However, in much of the poetry that Matthew Arnold did write, he perpetuated
his views regarding the high destinies of poetry through his use of sound devices,
manifestation in ideas, and his construction of themes, establishing his works as a
superior and honest Criticism of Life.
Criticism of Life
Themes and the criticism of life are presented by Matthew Arnold as a hugely
important component of poetry. In fact, it is presented as perhaps the most major
factor that makes the future of poetry, according to Arnold, so immense. Arnold
describes the role of poetry and the criticism of life within poetry, saying that The

Risks Of The Health Care
One of the risks of the health care globalization is that the health care providers
standards differ from country to country. Although, the international standards are the
same for all countries around the globe, it is important to understand to what extent
these standards fit the cultural, social, and economic contexts of those countries. In
other words, simply demonstrating compliance with common quality standards, leads
to different results depending on the country or health professionals involved.

Although, developed countries courts would not hold an intermediary liable in case
of unsuccessful results because they are not health care providers. Therefore,
facilitating liability by contract is another important instrument of mitigation negative
results of difference in health care standards. Federal law in developed countries
should recognize foreign patient contracts, which provide binding arbitration or limit
liability. For instance, patients should have an opportunity to get additional insurance
for an amount they believe will protect them in negative consequences of foreign
treatment. A policy should clearly identify financial remedies for specific problems
similar to an accidental death and dismemberment policy (Herrick). In addition, the
government in developed countries such as the USA should encourage follow up
care for patients returned from treatment abroad. Another risk connected with the
globalization of health care is a brain drain from developing countries. The
globalization of the labor market for health care professionals has major implications
for individual practitioners, for health care systems, and for governments. Fast
growing demand for health care services in developed countries results in a shortage
of health care professionals in those countries and causes recruitment of professionals
from underdeveloped countries. The immigration policy of some rich countries as the

Animal Domestication In Prometheus Bound
Aeschylus s play Prometheus Bound portrays the conflict between the two most
powerful factors in human life: knowledge against force or equivalently, intellect
against might. Set in a world that is conflicted between opposing political ideals of
democracy and tyranny, the play characterizes the protagonist Prometheusas the
champion of man who symbolizes the rebel against the tyrant and depicts Zeusas the
destroyer of man. Prometheus, nailed to a rock on Caucasus, is at the mercy of Zeus
for disobeying his authority by giving fire blind hopes or practical reason to mankind.
Prometheus encounters the characters Io, the chorus, and Hermes, whose
characterizations as well as references to Zeus suggest whether Aeschylus s
sentiments lie with Prometheus or Zeus. The play describes images of animal
domestication, fire, and bondage, which deepen Prometheus s relationships with
these characters and lend insight into the nature of all human existence, suggesting
that Aeschylus sides with Prometheus. One of the central ways through which the
play s stance on Prometheus versus Zeus and the nature of human existence emerges
is through imagery of animal domestication. Animal domestication is largely
explored through the exchanges between Prometheus and Io the daughter of Inachus
who Zeus transformed into a heifer to protect her from Hera s anger. Prior to
encountering Prometheus, Io cries out: Son of Kronos, what fault, what fault, did you

Timm 1 Julius Caesar: The Man Who Changed Rome Forever Isaiah Timm
CHW3MI Mr. Ballantyne January 15,2015 Timm 2 Some are born great, some
achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them (Shakespeare). Julius
Caesar s name is still on people s lips. The man went from nothing to controlling
Rome as its first emperor. Julius Caesar can be considered one of the world s
greatest historical figures because he was a good communicator, he was
memorialized by his own people and by future generations. In 100 BC, a boy was
born with a dream to rise to supreme power. This was heavily influenced by the
tyranny of the current leader of Rome, Sulla (Mark). The land was in civil war
because Sulla challenged the Roman... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The far reach of his empire showed his conquering power. Emperor Augustus had a
temple dedicated to Caesar, which still stands today, commemorating Julius s life
after his untimely death at the hands of senators (Grimms). Finally, the position of
Emperor is called Caesar. After Julius executed the position of emperor so
brilliantly, all leaders of Rome used the title, Caesar, to honour him. Because of all
these factors, his image of greatness is memorialized in Rome for all eternity.
Unfortunately, not everyone respected the greatness of this man. The senate fell
because Roman citizens were unhappy with a few rich leaders ignoring the needs
of many poor citizens. The masses supported the idea of a leader who would take
care of everyone. This event was a catalyse for Rome becoming an Empire. Greedy
and selfish, the senators resented losing their power. Caesar was killed by men
who were hoping to bring back the republic. He was trick into meeting some
senators to negotiate a compromise for both sides, but these evil leaders ambushed
him, stabbing him multiple times and leaving his body in the senate (McManus).
Caesar believed he could achieve greatness even though the odds were against him.
He cared about being the best, and he knew the citizens supported him. The senate
died and Emperors were born. Caesar used his charismatic skills to prove himself
historically significant. He was memorialized in a variety of different ways as a
El Filibusterismo Theory
In one of the first scenes he members of mission control are sitting around a table in
a conference room. This is when they first explain the concept of the bomb which is
referred to as the payload in the remainder of the movie. The concept of the bomb
seems to be questionable. It doesn t seem the most realistic to launch what appears to
be a giant bomb into the sunto restart it. From our knowledge of stars in class it
seems more likely that a large amount of small atoms such as hydrogen and helium
would be more beneficial but that likely isn t possible. According to Universe
Today the most likely way of keeping our sun from dieing is to connect the
convective zone, which is on the outer edge of the sun. To the core where the
Nuclear fusion happens. The Radiative zone separates the two. The radiative zone
basically just acts as a barrier between the core, where the fusion happens and the
convective zone which essentially acts like a giant lava lamp churning up the
elements in the outer layer of the sun. If the Core and the Convective zone were in
contact with one another the convective zone would allow the core to fuse all the
hydrogen found. If the payload in the movie was to somehow do this then this... Show

movie the crew flooded the garden airlock with oxygen which would cause an

have required a great amount of o2 to put out. Due to it s large size and it being

Of Masculinity In The Film Conan The Barbarian And Mad

Films are often connected by the shared use of common universal themes. This
element of cinema allows for deep analysis of films and lessons one can gain from
the entertaining pastime of movies. The well known 1982 films Conan The
Barbarian written by John Milius and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior directed by
George Miller, share many concepts that fall under the themes of masculinity and
heroes, but also differ greatly in the theme revolving around power. The theme of
masculinity in both Conan The Barbarian and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior play
a significant role in these films. The main actors in these movies, one of Hollywood

Similar to how girls in their teen years and twenties dream to look like the bikini
model in magazines, men look at Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mel Gibson in
Conan The Barbarian and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior in hopes they could be as
tough and manly as the two stars of these films. For example, the scene where
Conan and his ally invade Tulsa s palace and defeat his army to rescue the princess
(Conan The Barbarian) is directed to the male gaze as the masculine action of this
scene is more appealing to the male gender. Similar, the scene where Max fights
through his injuries and leads the pure faction to freedom, fighting off the
scavengers almost single handedly (Mad Max), strongly attracts the male gaze as it
has very masculine actions that the male gender wishes they could accomplish. The
shared theme of masculinity attracts both the female and male gaze in both Conan
The Barbarian and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior by utilizing the masculine
appearances for the female gaze and the masculine actions for the male gaze.
Relating to the shared theme of masculinity in these films, the theme of heroes plays
a large role in both Conan The Barbarian and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.
According to Sara MartГn Alegre in her research regarding masculinity in
Hollywood she wrote, As for his impressive physical appearance, the particularity is

Biography Of John Watson s Little Albert
In the 1920s, American psychologist John Watson coined a novel movement of
psychology known as behaviorism (Gluck, Mercado, Myers, 2011). Inspired by the
works of prominent psychologists Ivan Pavlov and Edward Thorndike, behaviorism
is a discipline of psychology that places its focus on observable behaviors rather than
internal consciousness . Stemming off Pavlov s earlier research, Watson s experiment
Little Albert could be considered one of his greatest psychological advancements in
behavioral psychology(Green, 2009). While his controversial experiments did result
in moral tensions regarding his research methods, he is still celebrated as an
accomplished researcher in the field of psychology (Digdon, Powell, Harris, 2014).
Considered by many the founder of behaviorism, John Watson s works led to further
psychological discoveries allowing his legacy to live on today. In the year 1878,
John Broadus Watson was born to Emma and Pickens Watson in a small rural town
near Greenville, South Carolina (Wozniak, 1997). Living in rural poverty
contributed to a distressing adolescence. His mother, ardent in her faith, named
Watson after a Baptist minister with the ambition that her son would one day aspire
to pursue a ministerial vocation ( John Watson (1878 1958) , 2013). His mother s
strict views on faith led her to openly reject controversial vices of free society, such
as drinking or smoking. Unlike his mother who held strict religious beliefs, his father

Tradition in The Lottery, by Shirley Jackson Essay
Tradition in The Lottery
There are many things that people do every day without questioning why they do
them. These are our habits and traditions, and though for the most part they are
unimportant they can be a crucial part of our culture and our interactions with each
other. Sometimes there are traditions that can cause harm or are morally
unacceptable. What should be done in this case? Edmund Burke, a nineteenth century
politician and author, argues that it is best to stick with tradition rather than causing
dramatic changes in people s behavior. This is a key component in his argument
against the French Revolution in his essay Reflections on the Revolution in France. In
this essay he argues that the revolution will only lead the ... Show more content on

Families stand together and
there is quiet conversation between friends. Mr. Summers, who runs the lottery,
arrives with a black box. The original box was lost many years ago, even before
Old Man Warner, the oldest person in the village, can remember. Each year Mr.
Summers suggests that they make a new box, but no one is willing to go against
tradition. The people were willing to use slips of paper instead of woodchips as
markers, as the village had grown too large for the wood chips to fit in the box. A
list of all the families and households in the village is made, and several matters of
who will draw for each family are decided. Mr. Summers is sworn in as the official
of the lottery in a specific ceremony. Some people remember that there used to be a
song and salute as part of the ceremony, but these are no longer performed. Tessie
Hutchinson arrives in the square late because she has forgotten what day it was.
She joins her husband and children before the lottery can begin. Mr. Summers
explains the lottery s rules: each family will be called up to the box and draw a
slip of paper. One of the villagers tells Old Man Warner that the people of a nearby
village are thinking about ending the lottery. Old Man Warner laughs at the idea. He
believes that giving up the lottery would cause nothing but trouble, and a loss of
civilized behavior. A woman responds that some places have already given up the
lottery. Everyone finishes drawing, and each

The Ethics And Values Of A Perfect Society
A realistic perfect society
A realistic and ideal society would have three kinds of values. First selfish values,
values that favor the individual. The other two are values that have the intention to
better society but in different, opposing ways. The two things this society would be
vulnerable to are time and perfection because no society can stay in peace and be
perfect for a long time. What are the ethics and values that make a society perfect?
There are thousands of them and consequently cannot all be listed. I will talk about
some of them that are important and crucial to a perfect society.
You might be confused as to why would a society need selfish ethics and values?
Why would it need people who care about themselves more than others? That is
where self respect becomes a factor because to have self respect you need to be a bit
selfish. As Joan Didion claims To have that sense of one s intrinsic worth which,...

values though is that even if they are not opposing values about national debates or

conflict dissolves the friendship bonding the society together and without a glue to
keep it together, the society will break apart. The only way in a society with clashing
ethics and values to get a result other than conflict is a perfect democracy. Democracy

Social Welfare Values
Values and Social Welfare Social welfare is an idea that can be described as having
two major purposes: social treatment, or helping people, and social control (Day
Schiele, 2013). The helping aspect of social welfare is one of the most common
associations people think of when they hear it (Day Schiele, 2013). However, the
social control aspect is a little less common for people to associate with social
welfare (Day Schiele, 2013). Being aware of both aspects is important in the field
of social work since both aspects affect the way social workers help clients. Another
hidden aspect that infiltrates social welfare is values (Day Schiele, 2013). Values

burden and against the laws of economic nature (Day Schiele, p. 10, 2013). The
Darwinism theory still infiltrates the social welfare system in the US today.
Personal Reflection Historically, social welfare programs were created to alleviate
the burden of social problems that society was facing. Some examples of social
problems include food insecurity, health insurance, and homelessness among many
others. I feel that the premise behind the social welfare programs is good; however,
the social welfare programs are not enough. The programs do aid low income
families with the necessary aid they need; nonetheless, they aid is not enough. Until
recently, my family received SNAP benefits monthly of $120. Although the amount
was not a lot, it did help our family purchase food for the month. Two months ago,
my husband got a .25Вў for his yearly evaluation which pushed our family income
past the poverty line ; thus, we did not qualify for the renewal. The SNAP program
is based on the gross income a family makes and does not take into account the
expenses that the family has such as school loans, car payments, and even
household items such as diapers. Due to this system, many people who are working
and making an effort to improve their lives are unable to make progress because this

The normal route is for investigative people under the supervision of the lawyer to
take the cudgels of this task. It would be the responsibility of the aggrieved party to
collect all medical and financial documents and all pertinent personal information to

done on the child. This would be the supporting items to prove there was injury
caused to the child at the time of birth.
The deposition comes next, or the evaluation of the collected evidence which is
treated individually for their separate merits. Part of the process in this case includes
the examination and cross examination of the Chicago birth injury lawyer and his
counterpart. This process would include the testimonies of the physicians, nurses,
technicians and all others involved in the delivery of the baby.
The negotiation phase would follow, and in most cases, the Chicago medical
malpractice lawyer would be in a good position to conduct negotiations after all the
evidence has been collected and collated. It would be the job of the lawyer to Assess
the extent and seriousness of the injury, considering the economic and other losses,
actual and potential, and conferring the matter with the insurance company. The trial
phase would ensue should the negotiation stage

This is an example of how intergovernmental cooperation can work.
If we look at Ecorse, MI, no municipalities wanted to for cooperation with them

The Problem Of Cyber Security Solutions
The seemingly exponential growth of the Internet has resulted in a largely
unforeseen increase in the type, frequency and variety of cyber attacks[20]. These
attacks can be very expensive and difficult from which to recover. Because of this
there is a need to know what traffic should be permitted and what is malicious[22].
To this end there are many well known cyber security solutions are in place to
counteract these attacks such as firewalls, anti virus software and IDS (Intrusion
Detection System) [23]. Many of these require manual analysis however and
approaches such as relying on host dependencies, profiling host behaviors or using
deep packet inspection have been developed. These approaches have scalability issues
though making them less than optimum in high speed networks [23]. The generation
of Big Data over computer networks is quickly making all of these solutions
somewhat obsolete though. To alleviate this problem and enhance the overall level of
a system s security, the application of Big Data Analytics techniques to cybersecurity
have become an area of great interest. These applications can be used to assist those
administrating networks in the monitoring and real time detection of anomalous
behavior in network streams[20].
An intrusion detection system (IDS), as mentioned previously is a cyber security
solution designed to defend against network attacks. It however does not prevent
attacks like an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) [27]. It is considered
Buffy The Vampire Slayer Research Paper
Many TV shows have made positive difference in my life. Each show has taught

series as a high school girl who wants absolutely nothing to do with being a
vampire slayer, but by the end of the series she trains potential slayers and leads the
fight The First. Buffy showed me that you can start off knowing nothing and being
an outcast, and still become the greatest at what you do. The message is that you
can be a high school girl, but can make an impact on the world. This is reinforced
by when in the series finale the power to be a slayer is unleashed to every potential
slayer in the world. The spin off of Buffy the Vampire Slayeris Angel, a show about

show is almost entirely contained in the last episode of the series: that no matter

his family, especially his dad, Hank. During the last episode Bobby connects to Hank

Freedom of Speech: Flag Burning Flag burning has been one of the most
controversial forms of nonviolent protests. It is often linked with the Middle East
and Hezbollah with depictions of Arabs against President Bush burning the American

make it illegal. Supreme Court rulings have upheld that peaceful flag desecration is
a form of political speech that should be protected by our Constitution (Flag

his case to the Supreme Court where it was fount that desecration of the flag was
protected as a freedom of expression under the First Amendment (Oyez). This was
the landmark case that defined flag burning and the Courts logically stated that the
Government may not prohibit the expression of an idea simply because society finds
the idea itself offensive or disagreeable (Oyez). Flag burning is not intended to
represent violence; that is not to be confused with protest. There needs to be a proper
time, place and valid reason to show support for a certain view. There should be little

Whether striving for a new identityor being limited by one according to societal

age of AIDS and homosexuality, Angels in America follows the lives of two very

(Henderson). It functioned as an afrocentric organization that was designed to build
solidarity among the community of true believers across space and time (Hill

British feature film on the Zulu Tribe of southeastern Africa (Decker). A Tribe

The Organization and Work of People at Bletchley Park
Bletchley Park was a small estate 50 miles outside London. Bletchley Park,
codenamed Station X was an evacuation site for MI6 and the government code and
cypher school (Gccs). This location was chosen, as it was far away from London
that the Germans would not consider it a worthwhile target to attack. It was founded
in 1939 after world war two had started and aimed to break encoded German
Messages that were sent using Enigma . Station X was so important that when
several code breakers wrote a letter to Winston Churchill asking for more money

At the beginning of the war (1939) there were around 1000 people working there
however by the end (1945) there were around 7000 people working there. The people
that were recruited often arrived knowing nothing at all about the work they were
about to undergo.
There were two main groups of people at Bletchley Park. There were the code
breakers such as Alan Turin and Dilly Knox. Then there was the administrative
staff that was mainly girls aged eighteen to twenty two. However when the bombes
and colossuses were installed women, known as wrens, were recruited from the
navy to operate the new machines. The way Bletchley Park got encrypted
messages were from Y centres which were set up all over England, who
intercepted the German messages and sent it to Bletchley Park. In Bletchley Park
the messages would be sent to Hut 3 where they would be decrypted. Once that
had been done the messages would be sent by a small passage way, pushed by a
broom, to hut 6 where they would be changed from German (or later Japanese,
Italian, as they were on Germany s side) to English. It would then go into the index
of messages in hut 6. The huts were manned twenty four hours a day seven days a
week. The people worked eight hour shifts. Hut three, had someone who handed out
new messages as soon as the new shifts walked into he room. Bletchley
Fort Worth Essay
Drovers, people who herd large groups of cattle, heading up the Chisholm Trail
toward the railroads the final stop for any last minute supplies was Fort Worth,
Texas. Beyond that you d cross the Red River and into Indian Territory. During the
years of 1866 and 1890, drovers herded over four million head of cattle through Fort
Worth. The city soon became known as Cowtown. As the railroad arrived in 1876,
Fort Worth developed into a shipping port for livestock, so the city built up the Union
Stockyards. Despite the Union Stockyards lacking the essential funding to buy
enough cattle to attract local ranchers, President Mike C. Hurley welcomed wealth
Boston capitalist Greenleif Simpson into Fort Worth hoping he would find interest

The northern and southern site would be given to either company and decided by
a coin toss. In the end, Armour won the coin toss and chose the northern site;
construction began in 1902. As for the Swift Co. the southern site had a large
gravel pit that was very useful for the construction of their plant. They had such an
abundance of gravel they even sold some of the gravel Armour at the northern site.
In that same year, construction on the pens, barns, and also the new Livestock
Exchange Building. The Livestock Exchange Building was home to many
livestock companies, telegraph and railroad offices, and many support businesses.
With Ft. Worth booming for all its latest success it was known as The Wall Street
of the West. With a little background information on the Stockyards, we can see the
evolution of the city of Fort Worth from where it was back in the 1860 s to now in
2017. The Stockyards were a valuable asset to the historical rise of Fort Worth and
growing attention it has and still receives. Today, without destroying the architectural
integrity of the original structure, The Fort Worth Stockyards offer visitors an
exciting opportunity to experience the Old West in an authentic but modern setting.
Thousands of people flood the streets to relive the real life cowboy days and take
pride into keeping the Stockyards history rich and
Advantages And Disadvantages Of Dye As An Alternative
To...
In general all dyes were natural substances, derived mainly from plants and animals
in ancient days. In the 19th century natural dyes obtained from the plants and animal
parts were the main colourants for fabrics. The natural dyes present in plants and
animals [1] impart colour to the fabric materials. The awareness about the ecology
and environment is increased nowadays. There is a greater need today to revive the
importance of natural dyeand dyeing techniques as an alternative to synthetic dyes. In
the present scenario, the interest in the use of natural dyes has been growing rapidly
due to severe environmental standards resulted in avoiding the synthetic dyes,
causing ill effects. These standards are framed by many countries in response to toxic
and allergic effects associated with the synthetic dyes [2].
But the common drawbacks of natural dyes are their ... Show more content on

Bleached silk fabrics were dyed with dye extract. The wetted out silk samples were
put into different dye baths containing required amount of dye extract and water.
After 10 minutes required amount of sodium sulphate was added. After 20 minutes
required amount of sodium chloride was added. The dyeing was carried out for one
hour at 50В°C. The dyed samples were taken out, squeezed and used for treatment
with metal salts process. The dyed silk samples were treated with different metal salts
using 1 3% of any one of the chemical mordants, such as aluminium sulphate, nickel
sulphate, potassium dichromate, stannous chloride, copper sulphate and the
myrobolan, at 60В°C for 30 min in material to liquor ratio of 1:20.
In all the above three methods, after the dyeing is over, the dyed samples were
repeatedly washed with water and then dried in air. Finally, the dyed samples were
subjected to soaping with 2gpl soap solution at 50В°C for 10 min, followed by
repeated water wash and drying under sun.

Task 3 Protein Synthesis
Task 3: Protein Synthesis:
Protein biosynthesis is the biochemical process, in which proteins are synthesized
from simple amino acids within several steps with the aid of information stored
within the sequence of DNA. DNA is located within the nucleus of eukaryotic cells
contain sections known as genes which carry the genetic code required in order to
manufacture proteins. During the process of protein synthesis mRNA or as it is also
known messenger RNA is able to construct a complementary strand with the aid of
the strands either side of the DNA structure. Through doing this mRNA now holds a
copy of the genetic instructions required in order to produce protein molecules.
Throughout the DNA remains within the nucleus with mRNA on the other
The World War One Source Book By Philip J.
Haythornthwaite
This report will analyze the question: To what extent did the introduction of aviation
affect United States military strategies in World War I? The early adoption of
aviation into the U.S. military and the manner in which the early air force used air
power shall be discussed in this examination. The first source is a book entitled The
World War One Source Book written by Philip J. Haythornthwaite. Haythornthwaite
is a military historian who has written over 40 books on the subject throughout his
lifetime. This source was chosen because it provides a critical history of military
strategy during World War I
and how aviation became a major part of the military
during this era. This source also follows along a timeline of plane usage
throughout the first World War. The purpose of this source is to consider air
warfare and battle tactics in World War I and how they shaped the war and
advanced the use of aircraft in battle. A limitation of this source is that it rarely
focuses on any specific country, including the United States, making it difficult to
examine American aviation from this source. This can also be seen as a strength
of the source, because in this way it gives a broader perspective on aviation as a
whole during the Great War and does not exhibit a bias toward any nation. The
second source used in this report is a website named wwiaviation.com written by
William Ira Boucher. This website provides a detailed and extensive history of the
use of aircraft in the first
The Role Of Unreliable Narrator In Edgar Allan Poe s
Stories
Almost, if not all, of the narrators in Edgar Allan Poe s stories are unreliable.
Georgetown University defines an unreliable narrator as someone who typically
displays characteristics or tendencies that indicate a lack of credibility or
understanding of the story and this could depend on age, mental disability or personal
involvement . The narratorthen ends up giving the reader either incomplete or
inaccurate information as a result of these conditions . Some of the unreliable
narrators in Poe s stories are the creeper in The Telltale Heart, Montresor in The
Cask of Amontillado, and the murderer in The Black Cat. They are all clinically
insane, as they feel no remorse for any of their actions, and think nothing of what they
did. They... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It haunted him throughout his life, so he vowed to kill the old man to stop the eye
s constant nagging. However, when he finally succeeded in his act, his own mind
concocted the sound of the old man s heart beating in his head. It got louder and
louder as he was being interrogated by police, until it drove him so mad that he
confessed to the murder. Referring back to how he spends a lot of the story
explaining how he isn t mad, the introduction to his tale itself is him going on and
on. To start it off, he says, True! nervous very, very dreadfully nervous I had been
and am! but why will you say that I am mad? The disease had sharpened my senses
not destroyed not dulled them. Above all was the sense of hearing acute. I heard all
things in the heaven and in the earth. I heard many things in hell. How, then, am I
mad? Hearken! and observe how healthily how calmly I can tell you the whole story,
(Poe 89). Then, merely 2 paragraphs later, he states, Now this is the point. You fancy
me mad. Madmen know nothing. But you should have seen me. You should have
seen how wisely I proceeded with what caution with what foresight with what
dissimulation I went to work! (Poe 89). In all

  • 1. Sample Essay About Education Crafting an essay on the subject of education might initially seem like a straightforward task, given the abundance of information available on the topic. However, delving into the intricacies of education requires a thoughtful and comprehensive approach that goes beyond the surface- level details. The difficulty lies in striking a balance between providing a broad overview and delving into specific aspects of education without becoming too broad or too narrow in scope. One challenge is the vastness of the subject itself. Education encompasses a wide array of topics, from historical perspectives and philosophical theories to contemporary issues and practical applications. Deciding which aspects to focus on and how to weave them together cohesively can be a daunting task. Moreover, the evolving nature of education means that staying current with the latest developments and trends is essential, adding an extra layer of complexity to the research process. Additionally, addressing the multifaceted nature of education requires a nuanced understanding of various disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, economics, and pedagogy. Attempting to incorporate these diverse perspectives while maintaining clarity and coherence in the essay can be challenging. The need for originality and a fresh perspective further complicates the writing process. With countless essays and research papers on education already in existence, finding a unique angle or contributing fresh insights to the discourse becomes crucial. • 6. Essay about Nietzsche and the Prophet Nietzsche and the Prophet According to Friedrich Nietzsche s Thus Spoke Zarathustra, the meaning of human existence is to make room for the Superman : a superhuman who perseveres in its capacity for unlimited self creation. (Pg. 49)[1] In order for humankind to embrace its self creative nature and allow for the transcendence into this superhuman condition, however, we must first learn to destroy our present tables of values; it is our desperate adherence to traditional (religious) values which prevents us from actualizing our potential for self creation. It is important to note, however, that it is not the creation of these traditional values in and of itself that Nietzsche condemns. After all, self creation is not only a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So, in spite of the immanent desire to be rid of the past, Nietzsche s protagonist, Zarathustra, finds himself unable to completely sever himself from it. Hence Zarathustra s struggle to affirm his past while pursuing a self creating future. The aim of this paper is threefold. First, I will provide evidence for the interpretation of The Prophet as an elucidation of the struggle of Nietzsche s protagonist to reconcile this inalienable relationship between the past and the future. In doing so, I will focus on three main facets of the passage, namely, the prophet, Zarathustra s dream and, the misinterpretation of the dream by the disciple. Second, I will demonstrate how The Prophet can simultaneously be interpreted so as to advance Nietzsche s own view of human nature as self creativity. Third, I will explicate what ramifications my interpretations of The Prophet has on the relationship between Nietzsche and his reader. The Inalienable Relationship Between the Past and the Future The Prophet begins with Zarathustra being told that Everything is empty, everything is one, everything is past! . (Pg. 155) That is, the prophet informs Zarathustra that the present day way of life has become tired and saturated; there is no more advancement to be made in the absence of a rudimentary transformation of humankind. In short, the time has come for the self destruction and re creation of humankind; the time has come for humankind

The telephone was created and news was spread faster than it ever had. Airplanes and trains were created and the transportation business was renewed. Although Christopher Shole s typewriter was not an original idea, his typewriter revolutionized the place of women in the workplace. • 10. The Death Comes By Charles Wyville Thomson, Commander Of... Death comes easily. Death comes with diseases spread by people living in close quarters. Death comes with a lack of nutrients from insufficient food. Death comes with a misstep that leads to a plunge into rough, frigid ocean waters. These statements are especially true on board a ship at sea during the time prior to the 20th century. When people know that death is very likely in a certain situation but still agree to participate in the situation anyway, they posses a characteristic known as courage. Two examples of courageous men are Zheng Heand Charles Wyville Thomson, commanders of very different ocean voyages, and both of these men led their respective crew members towards death with the hopes of conquering or exploring new lands. Zheng He, a worker for the emperor of the Ming Dynasty of China, commanded a giant fleet including 27,000 Chinese soldiers and sailed as far as the Arabian peninsula and the eastern coast of Africa in seven different voyages, starting in 1405 (Dreyer 1). Charles Wyville Thomson, a scientist from Britain, commanded a voyage aboard the HMS Challenger with less than 250 crew members (Bishop). In his voyage, departing in December of 1872 and returning in May of 1876, Thomson traveled to Antarctica, the Caribbean, South Africa, Hawaii, and South America (Dreyer xiii). Zheng He s and Charles Wyville Thomson s voyages differed in terms of purpose, approach, and outcome as well as technological advancements and human characteristic traits, but the

Some people help others because they might receive a favor from that person one day or the person might give them money. Many people ask me what my motive behind helping people? My answer is simple, I don t help people because I have to, but I help people because I think it is a privilege that God give me to further glorify his name. One of my weakness is when I hear a parent or anybody talking bad or negative about a kid. For example, strangers might gossip about Mrs. X kid is such a bad kid, or Mrs. Y might repeatedly tell her kid, why are you so bad? Why can t you be like the other kids at school? • 14. Themes In Imagining Argentina Imagining Argentina is a novel written by Lawrence Thornton, which is set in the era of the late 1970s of Argentina, during the dirty war. The dirty war came into effect when a military junta had taken power by force, shortly after the former president was removed. The main cause of the dirty war was to suppress the people of Argentinawho are on the side of left wing politically. Anyone suspected or even related to the side of left wing would have a green falcon visit their home or wherever they are, and will be kidnapped and tortured, becoming known to the people as the disappeared . Although thousands of Argentinians have disappeared through the years of the dirty war, their identity has not disappeared, through the power a name holds. Carlos Rueda, the protagonist, believes names to be much more than just a name. A name holds a person s uniqueness; their personality; their identity; and their story. Carlos is gifted with an imagination, which can predict the fate of the disappeared through the power these names hold. Although identity is a key theme, the overall message revolves around imagination. Throughout Imagining Argentina the use of imagination is always present. Thornton provides a powerful message which is imagination being our strongest tool; our reality. Imagination helps us through times of desperation and despair. The human mind is stronger than any physical force. Our power to imagine helps us stay strong, it helps us identify as humans. Imagination

  • 16. Matthew Arnold s Writing Of Poetry Essay Introduction A prominent humanist, critic, and poet of the 19th century, Matthew Arnold was a despiser of philistinism; he was a lover and sustainer of art, intellect, spirituality, and certainly the combination thereof in poetry. Matthew Arnold began his essay, The Study of Poetry, writing that The future of poetry is immense, and that more and more of mankind would discover poetry as a consoler, a sustainer of humanity, and an interpreter of life. He called his audience to conceive of it as capable of higher uses, and called to higher destinies. Arnold, believing poetry to be of such high value, was also very dedicated to upholding a high standard in the world of poetry. His dedication is shown clearly through his writings as a critic, but Arnold was also a poet himself. His collection is not very well known, and not very vast in number or range. However, in much of the poetry that Matthew Arnold did write, he perpetuated his views regarding the high destinies of poetry through his use of sound devices, manifestation in ideas, and his construction of themes, establishing his works as a superior and honest Criticism of Life. Criticism of Life Themes and the criticism of life are presented by Matthew Arnold as a hugely important component of poetry. In fact, it is presented as perhaps the most major factor that makes the future of poetry, according to Arnold, so immense. Arnold describes the role of poetry and the criticism of life within poetry, saying that The

Although, the international standards are the same for all countries around the globe, it is important to understand to what extent these standards fit the cultural, social, and economic contexts of those countries. In other words, simply demonstrating compliance with common quality standards, leads to different results depending on the country or health professionals involved. Although, developed countries courts would not hold an intermediary liable in case of unsuccessful results because they are not health care providers. Therefore, facilitating liability by contract is another important instrument of mitigation negative results of difference in health care standards. Federal law in developed countries should recognize foreign patient contracts, which provide binding arbitration or limit liability. For instance, patients should have an opportunity to get additional insurance for an amount they believe will protect them in negative consequences of foreign treatment. A policy should clearly identify financial remedies for specific problems similar to an accidental death and dismemberment policy (Herrick). In addition, the government in developed countries such as the USA should encourage follow up care for patients returned from treatment abroad. Another risk connected with the globalization of health care is a brain drain from developing countries. The globalization of the labor market for health care professionals has major implications for individual practitioners, for health care systems, and for governments. Fast growing demand for health care services in developed countries results in a shortage of health care professionals in those countries and causes recruitment of professionals from underdeveloped countries. Animal Domestication In Prometheus Bound Aeschylus s play Prometheus Bound portrays the conflict between the two most powerful factors in human life: knowledge against force or equivalently, intellect against might. Set in a world that is conflicted between opposing political ideals of democracy and tyranny, the play characterizes the protagonist Prometheusas the champion of man who symbolizes the rebel against the tyrant and depicts Zeusas the destroyer of man. Prometheus, nailed to a rock on Caucasus, is at the mercy of Zeus for disobeying his authority by giving fire blind hopes or practical reason to mankind. Prometheus encounters the characters Io, the chorus, and Hermes, whose characterizations as well as references to Zeus suggest whether Aeschylus s sentiments lie with Prometheus or Zeus. The play describes images of animal domestication, fire, and bondage, which deepen Prometheus s relationships with these characters and lend insight into the nature of all human existence, suggesting that Aeschylus sides with Prometheus. One of the central ways through which the play s stance on Prometheus versus Zeus and the nature of human existence emerges is through imagery of animal domestication. Animal domestication is largely explored through the exchanges between Prometheus and Io the daughter of Inachus who Zeus transformed into a heifer to protect her from Hera s anger. Prior to encountering Prometheus, Io cries out: Son of Kronos, what fault, what fault, did you find in me that you should yoke me to a

Because of all these factors, his image of greatness is memorialized in Rome for all eternity. Unfortunately, not everyone respected the greatness of this man. The senate fell because Roman citizens were unhappy with a few rich leaders ignoring the needs of many poor citizens. The masses supported the idea of a leader who would take care of everyone. This event was a catalyse for Rome becoming an Empire. Greedy and selfish, the senators resented losing their power. Caesar was killed by men who were hoping to bring back the republic. He was trick into meeting some senators to negotiate a compromise for both sides, but these evil leaders ambushed him, stabbing him multiple times and leaving his body in the senate (McManus). For example, the scene where Conan and his ally invade Tulsa s palace and defeat his army to rescue the princess (Conan The Barbarian) is directed to the male gaze as the masculine action of this scene is more appealing to the male gender. Similar, the scene where Max fights through his injuries and leads the pure faction to freedom, fighting off the scavengers almost single handedly (Mad Max), strongly attracts the male gaze as it has very masculine actions that the male gender wishes they could accomplish. Stemming off Pavlov s earlier research, Watson s experiment Little Albert could be considered one of his greatest psychological advancements in behavioral psychology(Green, 2009). While his controversial experiments did result in moral tensions regarding his research methods, he is still celebrated as an accomplished researcher in the field of psychology (Digdon, Powell, Harris, 2014). These attacks can be very expensive and difficult from which to recover. Because of this there is a need to know what traffic should be permitted and what is malicious[22]. To this end there are many well known cyber security solutions are in place to counteract these attacks such as firewalls, anti virus software and IDS (Intrusion Detection System) [23]. Many of these require manual analysis however and approaches such as relying on host dependencies, profiling host behaviors or using deep packet inspection have been developed. These approaches have scalability issues though making them less than optimum in high speed networks [23]. The generation of Big Data over computer networks is quickly making all of these solutions somewhat obsolete though. To alleviate this problem and enhance the overall level of a system s security, the application of Big Data Analytics techniques to cybersecurity have become an area of great interest. Whether striving for a new identityor being limited by one according to societal standards, all of the characters featured in these plays struggle to come to terms with their true self. In this paper, I will explain the effects that stereotypes and labels had on the growth, or lack thereof, of these individuals. A political call to arms for the age of AIDS and homosexuality, Angels in America follows the lives of two very different, but equally troubled couples: Jewish word processor Louis Ironson and his estranged lover, Prior Walter and closeted gay Republican lawyer Joe Pitt and his attention seeking, Valium addicted wife, Harper. Louis leaves Prior after realizing that he cannot endure the pressure that comes along with being someone s fulltime caretaker. Meanwhile, Joe grapples with the idea of moving to Washington after receiving a new job offer whilst simultaneously dealing with his wife s drug addiction and his homosexuality. Within those two pairs, each of the four individuals struggles to come to terms with his or her true identity. As the play progresses, the couples lives become increasingly intertwined as they search for ways to

In the present scenario, the interest in the use of natural dyes has been growing rapidly due to severe environmental standards resulted in avoiding the synthetic dyes, causing ill effects. Haythornthwaite This report will analyze the question: To what extent did the introduction of aviation affect United States military strategies in World War I? The early adoption of aviation into the U.S. military and the manner in which the early air force used air power shall be discussed in this examination. The first source is a book entitled The World War One Source Book written by Philip J. Haythornthwaite. Haythornthwaite is a military historian who has written over 40 books on the subject throughout his lifetime. This source was chosen because it provides a critical history of military strategy during World War I and how aviation became a major part of the military during this era. This source also follows along a timeline of plane usage throughout the first World War. The purpose of this source is to consider air warfare and battle tactics in World War I and how they shaped the war and advanced the use of aircraft in battle. A limitation of this source is that it rarely focuses on any specific country, including the United States, making it difficult to examine American aviation from this source. This can also be seen as a strength of the source, because in this way it gives a broader perspective on aviation as a whole during the Great War and does not exhibit a bias toward any nation. The second source used in this report is a website named wwiaviation.com written by William Ira Boucher. This website provides a detailed and extensive history of the use of aircraft in the first

But you should have seen me. You should have seen how wisely I proceeded with what caution with what foresight with what dissimulation I went to work! (Poe 89). In all
