Essay On Pakistan Economy
Writing an essay on the topic of Pakistan's economy can be both challenging and rewarding. The
complexity arises from the multifaceted nature of economic issues, the need for thorough
research, and the responsibility to present a comprehensive and accurate analysis. Here are some
factors that contribute to the difficulty of crafting such an essay:
1. Vast Scope: Pakistan's economy is diverse and covers various sectors, including
agriculture, manufacturing, services, and more. Addressing all aspects requires a deep
understanding of each sector, making it challenging to maintain focus and depth.
2. Data and Statistics: Accurate and up-to-date data is crucial for an economic essay.
However, obtaining reliable statistics can be challenging, and the interpretation of
economic indicators requires expertise. Researchers need to sift through a multitude of
sources to find credible information.
3. Dynamic Nature: The economic landscape is constantly changing. Factors such as
global economic conditions, government policies, and geopolitical events can have a
significant impact. Keeping the information current requires ongoing research and
updates.
4. Controversial Issues: Economic topics often involve debates and differing opinions
among economists and policymakers. Presenting a balanced view while critically
analyzing conflicting viewpoints can be intellectually demanding.
5. Analytical Skills: Effective economic essays require a strong analytical approach. Writers
must not only present facts but also interpret them, draw connections between different
economic variables, and offer insightful conclusions.
6. Policy Implications: Discussing the economic situation of a country like Pakistan
inevitably involves considering policy implications. Evaluating the effectiveness of
existing policies and proposing alternative solutions requires a thorough understanding of
economic theory and practical considerations.
7. Language and Structure: Expressing complex economic concepts in a clear and
coherent manner is a crucial aspect of essay writing. The challenge lies in maintaining a
balance between technical precision and accessibility to a broader audience.
In conclusion, crafting an essay on Pakistan's economy demands a combination of research skills,
analytical thinking, and effective communication. Despite the challenges, a well-written essay on
this topic can contribute significantly to understanding and addressing economic issues. For
those seeking assistance with essays or similar tasks, various services, such asHelpWriting.net,

Back Injuries People who are involved in car accidents frequently injure their back.
The location of the misalignment or injury typically affects the symptoms
experienced. Some symptoms commonly associated with a low back injury
include: muscle spasms; sciatica (a stabbing or sharp pain that originates in the
low back, wraps around the hip and moves down the buttock into the upper leg);
areas in the low back that feel sore when they are touched; as well as a dull, aching
pain in the lower back. Neck Injuries (Including Whiplash) Any type of collision can
cause a neck injury; however, whiplash is commonly associated with car accidents. A
whiplash injury occurs when the head is flung back and forth abruptly. This action
can cause the muscles and ligaments supporting the head, and spine to stretch or tear.
Furthermore, this forceful movement can cause the vertebrae in the individual s neck
to become misplaced, which can decrease its range of motion. In addition, the soft,
jellylike disc located between the vertebrae may herniate or bulge. Should this
happen, pressure may be placed on the nerves and tissues surrounding the effected
vertebrae and disc, leading to pain. The

Osiris
Osiris is an Egyptian God. He is the son of the sky goddess Nut and the earth God
Geb. Through the Egyptian history Osiris has been given different names because he
is able to change his presence. He is the god of the underworld, god of the afterlife,
god of transition, resurrection, and regeneration. After death Egyptians believed that
their soul will be judge in front of the Ambush and Osiris. Where they will weight
their soul against a feather and depending on the weight the gods were able to come
to decisions. Like many other Gods of Egypt Osiris is represented as a pharaohs that
is wearing a crown while he is holding a crook and fail in his hand. It is also said that

He is represented as god that clears his path from darkness to light and come to life.
However Osiris was killed by his younger brother Set and brought back to life by his

Gulliver s Travels Rationality
Humankind as the Balance of Rationality and Passion
A Voyage to the Country of the Houyhnhnms
Jonathon Swift s Gulliver s Travels takes place in four parts, each of which
describe Gulliver s adventures with fantastical species of foreign nations. The search
for Swift s meaning has been a controversial one; the novel has been interpreted
along a wide spectrum ranging from children s story to a satire of human nature. The
greatest debate lies within the realm of satire, and Part Four of Gulliver s Travels, A
Voyage to the Country of the Houyhnhnms, is just one area in which critics argue for
a variety of satirical meanings. Critics traditionally argue for the hard interpretation

There are many instances in which the Houyhnhnms are depicted in a positive light,
and one such case is Gulliver s revelation that The Houyhnhnms have no world in
their language to express anything that is evil, except what they borrow from the
deformities or ill qualities of the Yahoos (Swift 2413). In addition, Gulliver reflects
upon periods where he was in the company of conversing Houyhnhnms as he
expresses:
Nothing passed but what was useful, expressed in the fewest and most significant
words; where (as I have already said) the greatest decency was observed...where no
person spoke without being pleased himself, and pleasing his companions; where
there was no interruption, tediousness, heat, or difference of sentiments. (Swift 2414)
A sense of emotional resiliency is also expressed as Gulliver describes the
circumstances surrounding the death of a fellow Houyhnhnm. He writes, They...are
buried in the obscurest places that can be found, their friends and relations
expression neither joy nor grief at their departure; nor does the dying person discover
the least regret that he is leaving the world (Swift 2413).

Success with consumers may not translate to success in the marketplace, however,
unless other conditions also prevail. The ability of the customer mind set to create
value at the next stage depends on various contextual market factors external to the

intermediary support, and customer size and profile.
The competitors of Coca Cola Pepsi and others don t really pose much of a threat

The largest market segment of the past five years was middle aged males. As these
consumers age, the industry will find it harder to sell more motorcycles to them.
MARKET TRENDS:
Business Trends:
Favorable Demographics most motorcycle buyers are between the age of 35 and 64,
a demographic forecast to grow about 17 percent between 2006 and 2015 in the US.
The industry is also attracting younger buyers. Motorcycle ownership among
Generation Y grew by more than 23 percent between 2008 and 2012, according to the
Motorcycle Industry Council.
More Female Riders Motorcycle manufacturers are targeting female riders. Female
ownership is growing faster than male ownership. Manufacturers are building units
with lower seats, lighter weight, and lower tension clutches to attract female riders.
More than 10 percent of US motorcyclists are women. Additional revenues are
generated from accessories, clothing, and riding gear.
Volatile Gas Prices Higher gas prices can have both a favorable and unfavorable
impact on motorcycle sales. Motorcycles are a much more economical form of
transportation than most cars and trucks. However, higher gas prices reduce
disposable personal income available for purchases. Most motorcycles in the US are
used for recreation rather than for day to day transportation.

Intel Corporation, 1968 1997
Synopsis:
This case traces the strategic decisions of Intel Corporation which defined its
evolution from being a start up developer of semiconductor memory chips in 1968 to
being the industry leader of microprocessors in 1997 when it ranked amongst the top
five American companies and had stock market valuation of USD 113 billion.
Intel in DRAM business:
The strategies employed by Intel for DRAM business focussed on:
1.Pushing the envelope of product design
2.Being first to market with newest devices
3.Premium pricing and skim marketing. No emphasis on mass production
Initially, Intel had a successful run in this business as they:

Intel realized the advantage of partnering with IBM and initiated projects like Crush
and Checkmate to counter Motorola to ensure microprocessor supremacy. With the
success of securing IBM contract along with more wins, Intel was on set on track to
ensure industry dominance.
Exit from DRAMs
Intel TMT had an emotional connect with the DRAMs business. Successful
development of 1M DRAM was traded off for microprocessor development more on
the behest of the middle line managers who developed the microprocessor technology
over time with resources allocated for DRAM research. This was in line with Intel s
entrepreneurial culture which encouraged strategic planning through all functions.
By 1986, Intel s TMT officially approved middle managers pursuit to exit from the
DRAM business and focus on the microprocessor.
Intel as a Microprocessor company
Intel began supplying microprocessor to IBM. To meet the demand, Intel licensed to
as many as 12 other companies to produce 8086 chips, which left Intel with just 30%
of the total revenues and profits for that product. Gradually, they reduced the number
of licensee to only IBM. Thus they retained the profits pool within their value chain.
Meanwhile, IBM, who was Intel s star customer, decided to produce own proprietary
components. This was an inflection point for Intel. It partnered with Compaq and
Microsoft, to break the hegemony of IBM. Though Microsoft products did not

Literary criticism refers to the study of how literature is evaluated and interpreted.
Literature is a common aspect of the life of scholars, and we need to understand and
then evaluate the texts we read to get the intended message. There are a number of
literary criticism theories that can be used in evaluating literature work. The different
theories are applicable differently depending on the text in question. For instance, the
feminist criticism theory is a theory that is used to analyze texts that have a gender
imbalance as the major theme. These are theories that are guarded by feminism as
the common factor. They could be evident in economics, social and political life.

Applying the feminist criticism can be said that the story has an aspect of feminism.
Initially, the female character is not named in the story, and the prerogative of naming
is given to the male characters. Female characters are called The Grandmother, the
children s mother and the woman. The only female character having name was a kid,
June Star. In comparison, Even a small male character was given a specific name,
such as the Misfit s follower, Hiram and Bobby Lee; and Red San, who owned The
Tower Filling Station. At the beginning of the story the female characters show that
women were not treated as equal to men. Throughout the story, male domination is
evident. First, the father did not listen or did not take the grandmother seriously
when she told the story of The Misfit and the reasons she was against a trip to
Florida. He made sure that his choice dominated. It actually did since they went to
Florida as he wanted. He did not respect his mother, due to the patriarchal view
allows him to see the grandmother was subservient to man. Also John Wesley did the

Reasons For Getting A Soundproof Door Installed Essay
Title: Reasons to Get a Soundproof Door Installed
Description It is always very important for people to consider the costs involved in
getting a soundproof door installed within the house.
Noise pollution is something that affects each and every individual living in the
modern society. In this modern world, every individual thinks of relaxing in his or
her home without the exterior world disturbing his quiet and peace. It is also quite
fun and enjoyment to get the ability of cranking up the electric guitar or the cinema
system in the house without disturbing the neighbors. Making sure that the sound
insulation in your house is of decent standard can help you in ensuring the fact that
your home serves as that perfect place for relaxing. There are a lot of people who
are of the view that they need to spend a huge amount of money on this special
feature. However, these people are unaware of the fact that there are some
inexpensive methods that can also be used. For example, making use of a
soundproof door can always work towards making the home a comfortable and
relaxing place.
Reasons for Getting a Soundproof Door
The main reasons why you should think of proper sound insulation in your house are
as follows:
Music: People always think of blasting their favorite tunes while relaxing in their
houses. But this would have the irate neighbors hammering on their doors.
Games Consoles: The noise of children and kids cranking up the television while
playing different video games
Speech For A Farewell Speech
Good evening everyone. My name is Quinn Stewart, and it is my honor to be

persistence in our education made sure that whether on the couch or the

where we aren t judged by what we look like, what we believe in or who we say I
love you to, but rather by how we interact and treat those around us. For all of that,
I say thank you. Before I get rolling, I want to warn all of you ahead of time: I know
that everyone s exhausted from baccalaureate and senior trip, but this is really an

half of it just says pause for laughter and please clap , so I m really counting on all of

Types Of Exorcism
Types of Exorcism
Prayer is a powerful tool in the battle against evil and is also a powerful tool in
exorcism. When we think about exorcisms, the first type of demonic activity that
likely comes to mind is demonic possession. Possession is the rarest form of
spiritual activity but comes to mind of most people around the world when we talk
about exorcisms. Hollywood has capitalized on this type of demonic activity and
has created hundreds of movie titles based on this type of activity alone. However,
the most common exorcisms are not at all like one would witness on the big screen.
In fact, most Christians have probably said a form of minor exorcism prayer since the
Our Father is considered to be one. There are three main forms of exorcism that is
practiced within the Anglican Church: exorcism of objects, places and people.
Objects Almost any object, other than a holy one, can be infested.
Places Some examples of the cause of unwanted activity within a place, according to
the Exorcism: The Findings of a Commission Convened by the Bishop of Exeter,
include souls of the departed, human sin, place memories, poltergeist and demonic
interference.
People If a person requires an exorcism, the most important thing to keep in mind is
the safety of the person affected and the safety of those around. A thorough
psychological examination should always be conducted first to rule out any natural
underlying causes for the symptoms present. If it is found to be a likely case of
The Issue Of A Child s Life On My Intersex Child
In society today, people are always told what gender to be. For example, if a
masculine man wants to wear a dress, he will be shunned from society because
dresses are for girls therefore he shouldn t be wearing one. Now for an intersex
baby , the doctors practically decide for the child what sex they want the baby to
be. Doctors will make up lies and tell the parents that it is necessary for to have
surgery because of the baby s health but that s a huge fallacy. If given the opportunity
to choose the genderon my intersex child, I would oppose toward the surgery of
modifying his or her sex. I may not be conforming with the social norm, but I also
strongly believe that my child should make the choice of what gender they want to
be when they are older.
Intersex babies nowadays are being decided what sex they will be according to
what the doctor prefers. Parents are being told that their babies have to have
surgery because if not, then they may become sick in the long run. This is
absolutely not true. That so called sickness that doctors refer to is just a matter of
being able to fit into society. For example, in Dueling Dualisms by Fausto
sterling, she argues that the issue is that because one is born a certain sex that that s
the gender role they are suppose to play in society. She writes that what is at issue is
the embodied nature of identities and experience. Experience is not individual and
fixed, but irredeemably social and processual. With this being said, as a

The company uses a merit based pay structure to recognize employee performance.
Yearly evaluations of performance are conducted to rate employee s results of the
year compared to previously set goals. Kraft Heinz recognizes employees at every
level for outstanding performance. In 2014, over a thousand employees were
promoted because of their high performance and the value they added to the
organization (Kraft Heinz, Careers , 2015). Merit based pay is based on individual
performance. This method of pay and raises creates a link between rewards and the
employee s performance throughout the year. A danger of merit based pay, in
organizations like Kraft Heinz Co., is that management might give merit based raises
/promotions on how they perceive the employee will perform, so they may over or
under estimate pay decisions (Judge Robbins, 2016, pp. 137). However, the end of
the year assessments the company conducts to review performance and set goals for
the next year would help to reduce this
Lab Report Biology Cell Lab
Introduction
When God created the world he knew the structure of the cell, he had every detail
planned out. This shows how amazing and detail oriented our God truly is. In this
lab we explored his creation more and looked at individual cells using microscopes.
The microscopes were introduced in the first lab and were important to look at the
cells more closely. While using either premade samples or the student s cheek cells,
the students learned how to use the microscopes well through adjusting the slide to
find cells or focus the microscope so one could see the slides clearly. Through the
microscope, the nucleus is visible because it is dyed darker than the other parts of the
cell. This was true for all of the light microscope slides. The students were introduced
to the inverted microscope containing mouse cells. The students ... Show more

The first day we started using microscopes and getting used to them. We expected
to not see much only because we didn t know what to look for and also we were
not used to the microscopes quite yet. The second day of lab it was pretty neat
how the nucleus was visible because it was dyed darker than the other parts of the
cell. As in the intro you can tell what was the nucleus and what wasn t because
there were some cells darker than the others. The third day everyone looked at
onions/plant and fish cells through the microscope. We were all more experienced
more and we knew exactly what we were looking for. As we did the class average it
was neat how many of our percentages were close together. It took a while to find a
bunch of cells in a group but we ended up being very successful. It was cool seeing
interphase, prophase, etc in person. They looked a lot different in person than on the
power points. That s what made it a little difficult but we just had to keep zooming
in, focusing in, an just staring really carefully to tell which was which
What Are The Effects Of Bull Run On The Civil War
Bull Run was the first major land battle of the American Civil War. This battle
shaped the war that was to come, showing both sides that it was going to be much
longer and bloodier than expected. The first battle of Bull Run began near a small
stream (Bull Run) in NE Virginia, and about 30 miles SW of Washington DC. The
Battle began on July 21st, 1861, this battle was also the first preeminent undertaking
of the Civil War. The Civil War had started a couple months before Bull Run at the
battle at Fort Sumter. Both sides were hopeful that the war would be quick and over
soon. The south thought if they could take another victory, the north would just give
up and leave the confederate states as they were. While at the same time many from

The Problem Of West Mendham
In theory and in practice, it is always a dangerous idea to look the other way in
order to fulfil one s own selfish needs. It is even more dangerous when a casting
body of authority decides to turn a blind eye because they perceive the benefits to
outweigh the cost. In a nutshell, this is what the town decision makers of West
Mendham are dealing with. They are blinded by short termgains and thus fail to see
the long term effect of the agreement made with Pyle Associates. This is not to say
development is not a good idea for the town of West Mendham because it is.
However, with development comes more risk. A risk which the town of West
Mendham is willing to undertake in order to achieve short term economic gains.
Of course building a floodwall shows that the town of West Mendham have a clear
understanding of the risk the town faces as opposed to not having a floodwall. The
construction of the wall will have both positive and negative impact. Nonetheless,
the immediate advantage of the wall will be to protect the inland side of the wall
from flooding. This type of floodwall is also best for areas like West Mendham
where space is limited. In an event of a flood, the walls will serve as a sustainable
mechanism to help reduce the impact of flooding and building damages would be
limited. These are of course some positive aspects of the floodwall, assuming its
construction.
However, the construction of the floodwall comes with potential undesirable risk and

Nubia Research Paper
To reiterate, each society began with farming as their main backbone behind its
further development. Nubia took this to the next level by incorporating an extensive
system of animal husbandry as well. This form of raising livestock involved cattle,
sheep, goats, and donkeys. The institution of animal husbandry was partly due to the
fact that Nubia received little seasonal rain. Parts of the agricultural economy was
saved, however, by it being located near the NileRiver which brought water and soil
necessary for human settlement. Nubia was also a major trade corridor located in the
heart of Africa. It linked the developed society of the north with the undeveloped
society of the south with the trading of raw materials with manufactured goods....

Many people in Ethiopia, which shares a border with southern Arabia, also suffered
from the problems of self identification. The traditional theory of emergence of this
state hypothesized that immigrants from the Arabian Peninsula settled in northern
Ethiopia bringing a myriad of customs to the area, however, a new confounding
principle negates this theory. A new theory challenges this emergence of a mixed
African and Arab culture. This theory says that both sides of the Red Sea were a

therapy today. It was developed by Don Jackson and others affiliated to the Palo
Alto group. Jay Haley and the Milan Group are also important practitioners of the
model Strategic Therapy. This theory is portrayed as focused on altering family
dynamics, eliminating problems and focusing on the presenting problems rather than
the past, and often giving homework and behavioral tasks to clients. In this essay is
a detailed description of the history of strategic therapy, beliefs, techniques and
problems presented by this theory. The strategic therapy is dated back to the early

Targeting one goal and one problem at a time. Making therapy brief is also a belief
and some cases or sessions last no longer than 6 months. Another belief is that it is
okay for the therapist to push or bump the clients or family into interactional pattern
or relational pattern, which maintains their problem into a pattern, and allows the
family to divest themselves of the problem seem appropriate (Gardner, Burr,
Wiedower, 2006). The main belief that strategic therapy is based on is that there is a
strategy, a plan, a tactic, whatever the case maybe to help create change. A marriage
counselor may strive on the belief that love, faith, and hope can save a marriage in
chaos. Each therapist and family may have different beliefs but will strive for a
healthier change. How do they create change? Well there are many techniques or
intervention strategies that may be utilized. Reframing is a perfect example of
intervention involving a strategic approach to therapy. This technique involves
relabeling problems by viewing them in a more positive light (Parrott, 2003).
Reframing changes the meaning associated to the behavior without changing the
behavior. This changes viewpoints and alters the families systems. Boundary setting
and monitoring communication also helps to build trust and privacy. Family
sculpting is an intervention that involves asking a family member to physically
position herself or himself and other family members into a formation that

Consequences of Malabsorption Syndrome
Malabsorption syndrome: Its consequences and the usefulness of evidence based
practice Gastric bypass surgery has been found to be profoundly helpful for some
morbidly obese individuals who have struggled to reach a healthy weight using the
tools of diet and exercise alone. However, the surgery is a serious undertaking and
should not be regarded as a quick fix. One of the most common complications of
gastric bypass surgery is malabsorption syndrome. To some extent, the purpose of the
surgery is interrelated with this unpleasant side effect. Through the surgery, the food
stream is rerouted so that approximately 60% of the small intestine (the primary site
for the absorption of nutrients) is bypassed (Bariatric Surgery, 2013, ASMB).
Because food is in contact with the small intestine for a shorter period of time than in
normal individuals, fewer nutrients can be used by the body. On one hand, this has a
positive effect in the sense that fewer calories and carbohydrates are available. On the
other hand, this also means that fewer vital nutrients can be extracted to support vital
life functions. Patients must often consume nutritional supplements to counteract this
effect of the surgery. Secondly, by virtue of this food rerouting, there is less mixing
with bile and pancreatic enzymes. Contact with bile is necessary for absorption of
fat, and pancreatic enzymes are necessary to break down proteins, fats and complex
carbohydrates for absorption. The mixing of
What Is The Message Of Scrooge
Scrooge, a dull, hateful hoary miserable, miser that is always grumpy, doesn t like
anything to do with happiness or joy. According to the text, he has a frosty rime on
his head, thin lips blue that spoke shrewdly in a grating voice. Scrooge has a pointed
nose with shriveled cheeks. The text refers to him as bitterer than any wind that blew
and no warmth could warm, no wintry weather could chill him. In the first part of the
story, one night a ghostappears in his house, he turns out to be his deceased aged
work partners ghost, Marley. According to the text, Scrooge questions Marley about

Crazy Love Sociology
The movie Crazy, Stupid, Love follows a family throughout their struggles with love
and family issues. The plot is based around a nuclear family that begins with two
individuals, Cal and Emily, that have and endogamy marriage due to their similar
status. The couple then has three children Hannah, Robbie, and a second daughter, to
complete the familyunit. The movie starts with the wife admitting to cheating with a
co worker and wanting to divorce her husband, Cal. After this separation, Cal
becomes quite sad and lonely. He turns to the bars every night, and receives help
from Jacob to quickly learn how to attract women again. This quickly becomes a
problem when Cal meets many new women and Jacob starts a new relationship with
his daughter,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first event, is that Emily insists on a divorce after a new relationship formed
with her co worker. Although it is never admitted, one can assume that Emily chose
this co worker due to his high career status and masculinity. This situation is
different than many others because often it is portrayed that the men are unfaithful
in a relationship and the women are focused on the family and children. This
difference could be the director s intentions to decrease the stereotypes against men
and to decrease sexism towards females. This situation disproves the social
exchange analysis of family because in this situation men did not bring power and
the women contributed more than beauty. In reality, Emily held the power in the
relationship because she wanted the divorce without any influence or direction from
her husband. The next day at work, Cal is seen and heard crying in the bathroom.
This act goes against many rule of manhood and shows his weak masculinity. In
society, men are told not to show emotion or cry and he breaks both of these
standards. Overall, the divorce and reactions go against many social
Da Vinci
Da Vinci Battles and Brushstrokes, The Story Of His Lost Masterpiece
Leonardo Da Vinci, the famed Florentine polymath is revered around the world for
his ingenuity, creativity, and adaptability, but even with a huge body of renowned
and legacy inducing work, this Renaissance man still has hidden depths that ought be
shared with a wider audience. Da Vinci was a man immersed in several battles of
varying complexity, both internal and externally in his Italian home.
Many of Leonardos creations were formulated with battles and more specifically war
in mind, the obvious being the many war machines he designed (some of which he
was rumoured to have actually created), but conflict was rife in 16th century Florence
, and this eked its way into Da ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This rivalry between two creative powerhouses did not begin with the
commissioning that would soon be bestowed upon them by Soderini, rather it began
when da Vinci returned to Florence two years after his younger counterpart. Da
Vinci did not like the level of fame reached by this young star (who was at the time
working on the piece that would grant him immortality the statue of David) and he
expected to be treated with the level of respect someone of his stature should demand.
However, instead of this Leonardo with greeted with animosity as Michelangelo paid
no heed to Leonardo s preferred artistic output of paintings, instead he saw sculpture
as the pinnacle of art and creation, claiming that it was easy to correct an error on
canvas, but fixing a mistake in sculpture was nigh on impossible so the greatest artists
must therefore create sculptures. This was something that da Vinci wholeheartedly
disagreed with.
It was therefore difficult for Soderini to find the perfect conditions to convince both
men to accept his challenge, but through a combination of money and the chance to
crush their rivals, both hesitantly accepted. The hesitation on both behalf s came as a
result of the nature of the commission itself, namely that it was a fresco painting that
was required. Leonardo disliked fresco painting due to the perceived rush needed to
Social Actors And Organizations As One Working Unit
Blumer lastly notes that although many methodologies observe large social actors
and organizations as one working unit, this does not allow the understanding of how
the organization functions. Researchers should look at the individuals within the
organization to see how those individuals fit together and how they interact. The
interactions of the people within the organization paint a picture of how the
organization functions and makes its decisions. Blumer sums up his essay perfectly
by saying respect the empirical world and organize a methodological stance to reflect
that respect (Blumer 1986, p. 60). Criticisms of Symbolic Interactionism As with any
theory there are critics of symbolic interactionism. One weakness of symbolic... Show

His reasoning behind why he believes this is a bit confusing and does not fully
explain why this data is unreliable. He does explain that data created from a
recreated world is not useable which is understandable because it is not being
taken from the real world, but he does not fully explain why quantitative data taken
from the real world is inherently wrong. He dismisses any validity it may hold.
This is also confusing for the reader because he is very vocal about testability. He
sees testability as important but throws out research types with clear testability.
Many believe that Blumer s symbolic interactionism lacks hard evidence and
testability. A person interprets a symbol and acts how they choose to act. This lacks
the ability to be tested incorrect. Because this theory allows for the actor to respond
in any way they want, then the theory can never be proven wrong meaning there is
no testability (Melzer, Petros, and Reynolds 1975). Skidmore (1975) points out that
Blumer s theory does not account for why an actor will make the same choice in a
given situation. This paper allows for the assumption that every time an actor faces a
situation they consciously interpret it and then make a choice on how to respond.
This does not account for the unconscious acts and feelings that go into an action.
Some actions are made without a full understanding of why

The Prince By Niccolo Machiavelli Summary
Niccolo Machiavelli s abstract work of The Prince discusses politics and government
and focuses in not only acquiring power, but also how to maintain it. Throughout his
work, one of the most prevalent yet disputed themes is between the acquirement of
states between principalities and republics. The Princeshows a predominant and
constant debate on which group will excel in acquiring power. However, despite
Machiavelli s harsh criticisms on principalities, his work does not solely praise or
focus on the excellence of republics. In fact, as Machiavelli continues to speak and
provide examples about the successes and failures of both republics and
principalities, it becomes clearer that the lone purpose of The Princeis to merely
provide tactics in political governance, instruction on how to maintain power once it
is acquired, and most importantly, advice on how to become a great leader.
One of the most prevalent themes found in Machiavelli s The Prince is the theme of
fortune. Machiavelli, though in disguise, focuses on the theme of fortune in chapter
four and explains how it plays a heavy role in acquiring power. Chapter four begins
in introducing states ruled by a prince with barons and states ruled by a prince with
appointed ministers, and continues by distinguishing the similarities and differences
between the two groups. For states ruled by a prince with hereditary barons,
Machiavelli claims that power is easier to acquire as the prince receives help in
conquering the

In this edition, which is 99 pages long, it can be hard to locate any particular

Each is laid out in a bullet point type format, split into in 12 books . All the books in
the Meditations discuss existence, reason, duty, mortality, virtues, social relationships
and those with the gods, and death. The Meditations are essentially thoughts, ideas
and way on how to be happpier and how to have a better, more fulfilling life

Union University Art Gallery plays host to several different artists galleries

Hodgepodge , a collection of about ten canvases by Brian Bundren. While Bundren
has been painting and displaying his artwork for quite some time (his first gallery
was in the mid 1990s!), Hodgepodge contains paintings only from 2013 2016. All of
the artwork shows great precision and attention to detail. The colors are vibrant and
rich. That is not to say the colors were bright or cheerful (only one paintingwas
particularly bright ), but the colors were all pure and distinct. Most of the paintings,
in my opinion, would fit under the umbrella of surrealism. Walking into the gallery
immediately starts to produce feelings of unease and perhaps feelings of being
threatened. The individual objects in the paintings are very realistic but mashed
together in unnatural ways. Only one painting, J.V. s Thunderbird , felt calm ; it did
not cause me to personally feel discomfort, even though it was not peaceful. It was a

Reporting and Interpreting Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory
ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS
1.Inventory often is one of the largest amounts listed under assets on the balance
sheet which means that it represents a significant amount of the resources available
to the business. The inventory may be excessive in amount, which is a needless waste
of resources; alternatively it may be too low, which may result in lost sales.
Therefore, for internal users inventory control is very important. On the income
statement, inventory exerts a direct impact on the amount of income. Therefore,
statement users are interested particularly in the amount of this effect and the way in
which inventory is measured. Because of its impact on both ... Show more content on

To illustrate, assume item A is stocked and three are on the shelf. One cost $100;
the second one cost $115; and the third cost $125. Now assume that one unit is
sold for $200. If it is assumed arbitrarily that the first unit is sold, the gross profit
will be $100; if the second unit is selected, the gross profit will be $85; or
alternatively, if the third unit is selected, the gross profit will be $75. Thus, the
amount of gross profit (and income) will vary significantly depending upon which
one of the three is selected arbitrarily from the shelf for this particular sale. This
assumes that all three items are identical in every respect except for their unit costs.
Of course, the selection of a different unit cost, in this case, also will influence the
ending inventory for the two remaining items.
8.LIFO and FIFO have opposite effects on the inventory amount reported under assets
on the balance sheet. The ending inventory is based upon either the oldest unit cost or
the newest unit cost, depending upon which method is used. Under FIFO, the ending
inventory is costed at the latest unit costs, and under LIFO, the ending inventory is
costed at the oldest unit costs. Therefore, when prices are rising, the ending inventory
reported on the balance sheet will be higher under FIFO than under LIFO.
Conversely, when prices are falling the ending inventory on the balance sheet will be
higher under LIFO than under FIFO.

If a current is flowing, self inductance tends to keep it from building up. Henry found
that self inductance is greatly affected by the configuration of the circuit, especially
the coiling of the wire. He also discovered how to make non inductive windings by
folding the wire back on itself.
At the same time Henry was doing all this, another physicist, Michael Faraday was
doing similar work in England. Henry was slow in publishing his results and was
unaware of Faraday s work, therefore Faraday is recognized as the discoverer of
mutual inductance, which is the basis of transformers, while Henry is only accredited
for the discovery of self inductance.
At the age of 35, Yales geologist, Benjamin Silliman, was consulted regarding the
possible appointment of Henry to Princeton. Silliman s response was negative in
saying that Henry has no superior in our country, and Henry, who was modest,
defended the fact that he never graduated any colleges and he is principally self

annum plus a house. The Trustees also provided for $100 for the purchase of a new

Although, there are many worse transnational crimes being committed, Sheila

Money laundering has been defined as the process by which criminals attempt to
conceal the illicit origin and ownership of the proceeds from their illegal activities.
Criminals obtain the money from their illicit activities such as drug trafficking, fraud,
etc. From that point forward, three stages are to happen in order for the crime of
money laundering to be committed. The first stage is placement. Placement means
the cash is deposited into banks. The second stage is layering meaning the funds are
moved into other financial institutions to throw off any suspicions of its origins. The
final stage is integration which simply means the money is used for legitimate assets
such as purchasing a house or investing in stocks and other things of that nature.

The Queensland Police Service ( Gre ) Incident Command...
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) Incident Command System (ICS) was
raised as a project in 2001 with the aim of establishing a Command system which
could be used for any type of incident or event. Extensive research was conducted
into ICS models throughout Australia and overseas. The QPS ICS was finally
adapted from the North American ICS model which allows a flexible approach to
incident response with effectiveness and efficiency. The QPS ICS was then adopted
into Section 1.12 of the QPS Operational Procedures Manual (OPM 2014). The QPS
ICS takes a formal approach by gathering intelligence, planning a response and
deploying the available resources to achieve a specific result (QPS2013a).
The QPS ICS model is based on five interlocking functional roles. These roles are
Command, Operations, Planning, Intelligence and Administration and Logistics.
Depending on the size and nature of the incident the five roles can be carried out by
a single officer or an incident management team with a Police Forward Commander
(PFC) who will have overall supervision. (QPS2013a). The Command role will be
undertaken by the first officer attending the incident who will assume the role of
Police Forward Commander (PFC) (OPM 1.12.3) who will remain in this role until
the incident is resolved or command responsibility is transferred, usually to a more
senior officer (QPS2013a). The PFC will obtain and maintain situational awareness,

The Power of The House of Medici Essay
The House of Medici, or the Medici family, was a very influential and extremely
powerful family during the time of the Renaissance in Italy. The Renaissance took

In doing all of this, Lorenzo widened the Medici family s influence, but he also

Every day I stand near the garbage compactor and watch pounds and pounds of
produce go down the garbage hole never eaten for many reasons. Some produce is
simply too ugly for customers to want to consume, for example like a deformed
bell pepper, a bent cucumber, a freckled banana. Some produce is gently bruised
like an apple that was pressed a little too hard or a tomato that was bruised from
customers testing it for juiciness. So much produce that has little to nothing wrong
with it is simply thrown away every day at local grocery stores like Albertsons.
Meanwhile, there is anywhere up to 200 hungry homeless in Denton County (Point
in time Survey.) Places like Our Daily bread offer meals to the homeless during the
week and they are often... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The main concern when population increase is brought up is how are we going to
feed everyone? The answer to this question is not a new farming technique or a
new genetically modified plant that grow at the speed of light. The answer is
simply a change in our lifestyle and to stop wasting so much food. My mother and
father every weekend go out and buy a weeks worth of groceries and a lot of times
they buy too much of a food that we already have or they but avocados that will go
bad by the time we need to use them. This creates so much unnecessary waste and we
are all guilty of it. I once met a woman who lived in France and she told me about
how every day after work she bought the groceries she needed for that night and the
two benefits to this were that her food was always fresh and she never threw out
food. To be honest I had never thought of only buying what you needed for that
night it always made sense to me to buy everything at once and get it over with and
not have to worry about buy groceries until next weekend. Little did I realize that
this is the mindset that causes so much waste because we are simply unaware of the
problems that we are creating. The combination of the food waste we throw out as
consumers and the food waste that is thrown out by businesses across the globe is
1.3 Billion tons which is over a third of what the globe produces; this is a number
that is much
Advantages And Disadvantages Of Natural Gas
THE ADVANTAGES AND SHORT COMINGS OF GAS VERSUS LIQUEFIED
NATURAL GAS (LNG) CASE STUDY : USA
PREPARE BY: OFOEGBU ROSEMARY. N
INTRODUCTION
Gas is a source of energy, which can generate combustion with the source of heat and
oxygen, it is a consumable product and highly inflammable.
It is a source of energy used in this modern society, it is widely use all over the word
for different purposes.
In this context, we take a look at the benefit of gas and liquefied natural gas, the effect
as a primary source of energy the impact on man and the short comings its posses

This transfers the Carbon from the Earth to the Environment leading to the Global
Warming Effect. Natural Gas has been touted as a much Greener Fuel as compared
to Oil and Coal. However some experts dispute the fact that Natural Gas is cleaner
and say that if you consider the lifetime impact from the mining of Gas to its use it
may be more harmful to the environment than Oil. Natural Gas leads to Air Pollution
due to some Gas that escapes into the Air and it?s not possible to capture all the
Natural Gas that is released. Water pollution is also accounted for as one of the
shortcomings of natural gas
Furthermore, the deliberate increase in terrorism in USA can be traced to huge
amount of money been generate from natural gas. E.g. terrorist attack on America by
Osama Bin Laden Like other sources of fossil fuel energy, Natural Gas Energy has
much impact in depleting, and does not form a sustainable answer to man?s energy
questions. Natural Gas is highly combustible and it can lead to explosions if not
carefully handled. This is the reason that it is not used in vehicles more. Also it exists
mostly in the gaseous state which makes handling it more difficult than Oil.
Rhetorical Devices In The Coquette
Meghan Michalski 19 October 2017
From a scene of constraint and confinement, ill suited to my years and inclination, I
have just launched into society. My heart beats high in expectation of its fancied
joys. My sanguine imagination paints, in alluring colors, the charms of youth and
freedom, regulated by virtue and innocence. Of these, I wish to partake. While I
own myself under obligations for the esteem which you are pleased to profess for
me, and in return, acknowledge, that neither your person nor manners are
disagreeable to me, I recoil at the thought of immediately forming a connection,
which must confine me to the duties of domestic life, and make me dependent for
happiness, perhaps too, for subsistence, upon a class of people, who will claim the
right of scrutinizing every part of my conduct; and by censuring those foibles, which
I am conscious of not having prudence to avoid, may render me completely miserable
(Foster, 29).
Through rhetorical devices, dramatic language, and tone, Foster manipulates the
readers perspectives and opinions of her characters and provides them with the
information to predict Eliza s inevitable demise before she knows it herself.
Eliza Wharton s yearning for freedom is a fundamental underlying theme to Foster s
novel, The Coquette . Eliza views freedom as the ability to partake in the pleasures
and joys of youth without the restrictions and obligations that come with a
commitment to marriage. Furthermore, freedom is the choice to

Tsunami
There are many types of natural disaster that are quite deadly (earthquake, tornado,
volcanic eruption, etc.). Out of all natural disaster that ever occurs on earth, I believe
that tsunami is by far most interesting one out of all. The reason why tsunami is very
interesting is because it can be triggered by many causes (earthquake, volcanic
eruption, underwater landslide, fall of a large mass, etc.) On this research paper; I
will explain what exactly is tsunami, the 2004 Sumatra tsunami, and how to predict
tsunami.
Tsunami (also known as tidal wave or seismic sea wave) is a series of waves created
by the displacement of water, unlike normal ocean waves which are created by ...

Unfortunately, it is estimated that around 35,000 people have lost their lives and
around 500,000 people have lost their homes in Sumatra (around 15000 died in
India). The aftermath report reported that around 190,000 people are dead with
40,000 to 45,000 either missing or presumed dead. Even though billions of dollars
of humanitarian aid have been used to help all the effected region of the tsunami
disaster, some areas still have not recovered from this disaster. In 2011, an
earthquake registered at the magnitude of 9.0 9.1 hit the coast of Tohoku Japan (it
is recorded to be the most powerful earthquake ever hit Japan). The earthquake
caused a giant tsunami waves with the highest waves measured at the heights of
133 feet. Despite of Japan s precaution plan of Tsunami attack, the damage that the
tsunami and earthquake did was very severe. The tsunami walls that Japan created
around the nuclear plant has no effect because it is not a big as the tsunami waves
thus resume the damage that the tsunami has set its eyes on; multiple infrastructure
damage, nuclear plant damage, and severe nuclear plant radiation leak. It is
estimated that around 15894 people are dead, 6152 are injured, and 2562 people are
either missing or presume dead. In 2015 September 16, an earthquake registered at
the magnitude of 8.3 hit the offshore of IL lapel and Chile. The tsunami waves
arrived on the coast
Girly Flats
People say that one should never judge a book by it s cover, but what is the
difference in that and then judging someone by the shoes they are wearing?
Personality is defined as a mixture of characteristics that form one s original
character. In many cases, one might stare at someone s shoes and almost
immediately know a lot about them as a person. Flats, boots, and heels are the most
general groups of shoes. The neutral ones, the practical ones, and the vivid ones
describe personality traits that go along with these groups of shoes. The neutral
ones label a class of shoes known as flats. Common types of flats consist of flip
flops, girly flats, and converses. Wearing flip flops can mean that someone is a
very casual person, but when worn on an everyday occasion it can mean that a
person is immature and irresponsible. Girly flats can be worn by someone who is
an overall sweet and modest person or someone who is generally a follower.
Converses can mean that one is easy going. This means that this person is usually
more calm and relaxed. On the other hand, as one gets older wearing this shoecould
mean that they have yet to let go of the past. The practical ones include different
types of boots. The more familiar types of boots contain ankle boots, knee high
boots, thigh high boots, and cowboy boots. One who wears... Show more content on

The most prevailing types of heels are high heels, kitten heels, stilettos, and
wedges. High heels are mainly worn by feminine and self confident people.
Meanwhile, if the heels are too big and one cannot walk in them can be seen as a
hypocrite. People who wear kitten heels are typically for creative or fun. The kitten
heels have just enough heel to get someone through the day. Stilettos are generally
worn by people who see themselves higher than anyone else. Lastly, people who
wear wedges seem to be more down to earth. Since these are easier to walk in they
are worn for style and not

  • 1. Essay On Pakistan Economy Writing an essay on the topic of Pakistan's economy can be both challenging and rewarding. The complexity arises from the multifaceted nature of economic issues, the need for thorough research, and the responsibility to present a comprehensive and accurate analysis. Here are some factors that contribute to the difficulty of crafting such an essay: 1. Vast Scope: Pakistan's economy is diverse and covers various sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, services, and more. Addressing all aspects requires a deep understanding of each sector, making it challenging to maintain focus and depth. 2. Data and Statistics: Accurate and up-to-date data is crucial for an economic essay. However, obtaining reliable statistics can be challenging, and the interpretation of economic indicators requires expertise. Researchers need to sift through a multitude of sources to find credible information. 3. Dynamic Nature: The economic landscape is constantly changing. Factors such as global economic conditions, government policies, and geopolitical events can have a significant impact. Keeping the information current requires ongoing research and updates. 4. Controversial Issues: Economic topics often involve debates and differing opinions among economists and policymakers. Presenting a balanced view while critically analyzing conflicting viewpoints can be intellectually demanding. 5. Analytical Skills: Effective economic essays require a strong analytical approach. Writers must not only present facts but also interpret them, draw connections between different economic variables, and offer insightful conclusions. 6. Policy Implications: Discussing the economic situation of a country like Pakistan inevitably involves considering policy implications. Evaluating the effectiveness of existing policies and proposing alternative solutions requires a thorough understanding of economic theory and practical considerations. 7. Language and Structure: Expressing complex economic concepts in a clear and coherent manner is a crucial aspect of essay writing. The challenge lies in maintaining a balance between technical precision and accessibility to a broader audience. For example, if a masculine man wants to wear a dress, he will be shunned from society because dresses are for girls therefore he shouldn t be wearing one. Now for an intersex baby , the doctors practically decide for the child what sex they want the baby to be. Doctors will make up lies and tell the parents that it is necessary for to have surgery because of the baby s health but that s a huge fallacy. If given the opportunity to choose the genderon my intersex child, I would oppose toward the surgery of modifying his or her sex. I may not be conforming with the social norm, but I also strongly believe that my child should make the choice of what gender they want to be when they are older. Intersex babies nowadays are being decided what sex they will be according to what the doctor prefers. Parents are being told that their babies have to have surgery because if not, then they may become sick in the long run. This is absolutely not true. However, the surgery is a serious undertaking and should not be regarded as a quick fix. One of the most common complications of gastric bypass surgery is malabsorption syndrome. To some extent, the purpose of the surgery is interrelated with this unpleasant side effect. Through the surgery, the food stream is rerouted so that approximately 60% of the small intestine (the primary site for the absorption of nutrients) is bypassed (Bariatric Surgery, 2013, ASMB). Because food is in contact with the small intestine for a shorter period of time than in normal individuals, fewer nutrients can be used by the body. On one hand, this has a positive effect in the sense that fewer calories and carbohydrates are available. On the other hand, this also means that fewer vital nutrients can be extracted to support vital life functions. Patients must often consume nutritional supplements to counteract this effect of the surgery. Secondly, by virtue of this food rerouting, there is less mixing with bile and pancreatic enzymes. Contact with bile is necessary for absorption of fat, and pancreatic enzymes are necessary to break down proteins, fats and complex carbohydrates for absorption. The mixing of

This difference could be the director s intentions to decrease the stereotypes against men and to decrease sexism towards females. This situation disproves the social exchange analysis of family because in this situation men did not bring power and the women contributed more than beauty. In reality, Emily held the power in the relationship because she wanted the divorce without any influence or direction from her husband. Da Vinci Da Vinci Battles and Brushstrokes, The Story Of His Lost Masterpiece Leonardo Da Vinci, the famed Florentine polymath is revered around the world for his ingenuity, creativity, and adaptability, but even with a huge body of renowned and legacy inducing work, this Renaissance man still has hidden depths that ought be shared with a wider audience. Da Vinci was a man immersed in several battles of varying complexity, both internal and externally in his Italian home. Many of Leonardos creations were formulated with battles and more specifically war in mind, the obvious being the many war machines he designed (some of which he was rumoured to have actually created), but conflict was rife in 16th century Florence , and this eked its way into Da ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This rivalry between two creative powerhouses did not begin with the commissioning that would soon be bestowed upon them by Soderini, rather it began when da Vinci returned to Florence two years after his younger counterpart. Da Vinci did not like the level of fame reached by this young star (who was at the time working on the piece that would grant him immortality the statue of David) and he expected to be treated with the level of respect someone of his stature should demand. However, instead of this Leonardo with greeted with animosity as Michelangelo paid no heed to Leonardo s preferred artistic output of paintings, instead he saw sculpture as the pinnacle of art and creation, claiming that it was easy to correct an error on canvas, but fixing a mistake in sculpture was nigh on impossible so the greatest artists must therefore create sculptures. This was something that da Vinci wholeheartedly disagreed with. It was therefore difficult for Soderini to find the perfect conditions to convince both men to accept his challenge, but through a combination of money and the chance to crush their rivals, both hesitantly accepted. The hesitation on both behalf s came as a result of the nature of the commission itself, namely that it was a fresco painting that was required. Leonardo disliked fresco painting due to the perceived rush needed to

Social Actors And Organizations As One Working Unit Blumer lastly notes that although many methodologies observe large social actors and organizations as one working unit, this does not allow the understanding of how the organization functions. Researchers should look at the individuals within the organization to see how those individuals fit together and how they interact. The interactions of the people within the organization paint a picture of how the organization functions and makes its decisions. Blumer sums up his essay perfectly by saying respect the empirical world and organize a methodological stance to reflect that respect (Blumer 1986, p. 60). He does explain that data created from a recreated world is not useable which is understandable because it is not being taken from the real world, but he does not fully explain why quantitative data taken from the real world is inherently wrong. He dismisses any validity it may hold. This is also confusing for the reader because he is very vocal about testability. He sees testability as important but throws out research types with clear testability. Many believe that Blumer s symbolic interactionism lacks hard evidence and testability. A person interprets a symbol and acts how they choose to act. This lacks the ability to be tested incorrect. Because this theory allows for the actor to respond in any way they want, then the theory can never be proven wrong meaning there is no testability (Melzer, Petros, and Reynolds 1975). Skidmore (1975) points out that Blumer s theory does not account for why an actor will make the same choice in a given situation. This paper allows for the assumption that every time an actor faces a situation they consciously interpret it and then make a choice on how to respond. This does not account for the unconscious acts and feelings that go into an action. Some actions are made without a full understanding of why

Write a paragraph in which you answer this question and provide at least 3 reasons to support your opinion. I feel that our differences do define us. One reason I feel this way is because everyone is different, no one is the same. If everyone was the same, we would all be robots and not people. Another reason is because our differencesare what makes things interesting in our everyday lives. Our differences, all the way down to our skin color, eye color, the clothes we wear and even the food we eat, makes us all different. The final reason that our differences do define us is our thinking process and our environment. Not everyone is brought up in the same way. Everyone is raised differently than the next person; in that, no one has the same mindset, values or outlook of the world or people in general for that matter. The Prince By Niccolo Machiavelli Summary Niccolo Machiavelli s abstract work of The Prince discusses politics and government and focuses in not only acquiring power, but also how to maintain it. Throughout his work, one of the most prevalent yet disputed themes is between the acquirement of states between principalities and republics. The Princeshows a predominant and constant debate on which group will excel in acquiring power. However, despite Machiavelli s harsh criticisms on principalities, his work does not solely praise or focus on the excellence of republics. In fact, as Machiavelli continues to speak and provide examples about the successes and failures of both republics and principalities, it becomes clearer that the lone purpose of The Princeis to merely provide tactics in political governance, instruction on how to maintain power once it is acquired, and most importantly, advice on how to become a great leader. One of the most prevalent themes found in Machiavelli s The Prince is the theme of fortune. Machiavelli, though in disguise, focuses on the theme of fortune in chapter four and explains how it plays a heavy role in acquiring power. Chapter four begins in introducing states ruled by a prince with barons and states ruled by a prince with appointed ministers, and continues by distinguishing the similarities and differences between the two groups. For states ruled by a prince with hereditary barons, Machiavelli claims that power is easier to acquire as the prince receives help in conquering the

While Bundren has been painting and displaying his artwork for quite some time (his first gallery was in the mid 1990s!), Hodgepodge contains paintings only from 2013 2016. All of the artwork shows great precision and attention to detail. The colors are vibrant and rich. That is not to say the colors were bright or cheerful (only one paintingwas particularly bright ), but the colors were all pure and distinct. Most of the paintings, in my opinion, would fit under the umbrella of surrealism. Walking into the gallery immediately starts to produce feelings of unease and perhaps feelings of being threatened. The inventory may be excessive in amount, which is a needless waste of resources; alternatively it may be too low, which may result in lost sales. Therefore, for internal users inventory control is very important. On the income statement, inventory exerts a direct impact on the amount of income. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... To illustrate, assume item A is stocked and three are on the shelf. One cost $100; the second one cost $115; and the third cost $125. Now assume that one unit is sold for $200. If it is assumed arbitrarily that the first unit is sold, the gross profit will be $100; if the second unit is selected, the gross profit will be $85; or alternatively, if the third unit is selected, the gross profit will be $75. Thus, the amount of gross profit (and income) will vary significantly depending upon which one of the three is selected arbitrarily from the shelf for this particular sale. This assumes that all three items are identical in every respect except for their unit costs. Of course, the selection of a different unit cost, in this case, also will influence the ending inventory for the two remaining items. 8.LIFO and FIFO have opposite effects on the inventory amount reported under assets on the balance sheet. The ending inventory is based upon either the oldest unit cost or the newest unit cost, depending upon which method is used. Under FIFO, the ending inventory is costed at the latest unit costs, and under LIFO, the ending inventory is costed at the oldest unit costs. Therefore, when prices are rising, the ending inventory reported on the balance sheet will be higher under FIFO than under LIFO. Conversely, when prices are falling the ending inventory on the balance sheet will be higher under LIFO than under FIFO. 9.LIFO

Criminals obtain the money from their illicit activities such as drug trafficking, fraud, etc. From that point forward, three stages are to happen in order for the crime of money laundering to be committed. The first stage is placement. Placement means the cash is deposited into banks. E.g. terrorist attack on America by Osama Bin Laden Like other sources of fossil fuel energy, Natural Gas Energy has much impact in depleting, and does not form a sustainable answer to man?s energy questions. Natural Gas is highly combustible and it can lead to explosions if not carefully handled. This is the reason that it is not used in vehicles more. Also it exists mostly in the gaseous state which makes handling it more difficult than Oil.

My heart beats high in expectation of its fancied joys. My sanguine imagination paints, in alluring colors, the charms of youth and freedom, regulated by virtue and innocence. Of these, I wish to partake. While I own myself under obligations for the esteem which you are pleased to profess for me, and in return, acknowledge, that neither your person nor manners are disagreeable to me, I recoil at the thought of immediately forming a connection, which must confine me to the duties of domestic life, and make me dependent for happiness, perhaps too, for subsistence, upon a class of people, who will claim the right of scrutinizing every part of my conduct; and by censuring those foibles, which I am conscious of not having prudence to avoid, may render me completely miserable (Foster, 29). Through rhetorical devices, dramatic language, and tone, Foster manipulates the readers perspectives and opinions of her characters and provides them with the information to predict Eliza s inevitable demise before she knows it herself. Eliza Wharton s yearning for freedom is a fundamental underlying theme to Foster s novel, The Coquette . Eliza views freedom as the ability to partake in the pleasures and joys of youth without the restrictions and obligations that come with a commitment to marriage. Furthermore, freedom is the choice to

Out of all natural disaster that ever occurs on earth, I believe that tsunami is by far most interesting one out of all. The reason why tsunami is very interesting is because it can be triggered by many causes (earthquake, volcanic eruption, underwater landslide, fall of a large mass, etc.) On this research paper; I will explain what exactly is tsunami, the 2004 Sumatra tsunami, and how to predict tsunami. • 48. Girly Flats People say that one should never judge a book by it s cover, but what is the difference in that and then judging someone by the shoes they are wearing? Personality is defined as a mixture of characteristics that form one s original character. In many cases, one might stare at someone s shoes and almost immediately know a lot about them as a person. Flats, boots, and heels are the most general groups of shoes. The neutral ones, the practical ones, and the vivid ones describe personality traits that go along with these groups of shoes. The neutral ones label a class of shoes known as flats. Common types of flats consist of flip flops, girly flats, and converses. Wearing flip flops can mean that someone is a very casual person, but when worn on an everyday occasion it can mean that a person is immature and irresponsible. Girly flats can be worn by someone who is an overall sweet and modest person or someone who is generally a follower. Converses can mean that one is easy going. This means that this person is usually more calm and relaxed. On the other hand, as one gets older wearing this shoecould mean that they have yet to let go of the past. The practical ones include different types of boots. The more familiar types of boots contain ankle boots, knee high boots, thigh high boots, and cowboy boots. One who wears... Lastly, people who wear wedges seem to be more down to earth. Since these are easier to walk in they are worn for style and not
