Gaps in employement were intentional to spend time at home with my small children and go
back to school full time. Left Wal-Mart in 2010 to attend school that summer and Graduated
from Gardner-Webb University in December 2014. Started at the Children’s Place in April.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store October 2014 – Present
Retail Store Manager
I hold full responsibility for merchandising, operations, training and maintaining high
functioning sales team members. Held accountable for four metrics to include sales to plan,
conversion to plan, units per transaction to plan and average dollar sale to plan.
I work closely with the Restrauant General Manager in order to maintain a smooth business
dynamic for the guest which includes a five star guest experience from dining and shopping
our uniqe products in the gift shop.

Had good success with the store however, was recruited by Cracker Barrel to work in the gift

Held Full Responsibility for the One Hour Photo and Connection Center, and then
promoted to Assistant Store Manager which included the following:
 Controls to Protect company assets which included increased security, analyze data and
paperwork to prevent shrinkage, and communicated daily with associates to train on
proper controls.
 Full financial responsibility to monitor costs and increase sales and profit. I analyzed the
profit and loss statements and had a plan of action for any exceptions.
 Supervised, trained, coached for improvement and for success employees in a high paced
service areas and throughout the store.
 Overseen instock, pricing integrity, and solved customer and employee issues.
 Enforced compliance rules and regulations which included Integrated Pest Control,

 Actively involved in the community with a local lunch buddy program, relay for life, and
teaching students about photo processing to promote a good repor with the community

 Appointed Childrens Miracle Network Manager a nonprofit organization leader. As a
leader my duties for management included organizing all events through allocating the
resources needed to earn funds and volunteering to participate in events for the Network.
