COVER LETTER
I wish to express my genuine interest in being considered for this position. I am confident I hold the
skills and abilities to successfully carry out this role, along with a positive, customer-focused outlook
which will be an asset to your team.
I am a motivated, energetic mature aged person, with experience in a diversity of fast paced
environments. I am seriously looking to change my career to Administration. To enable me to utilise
all my life and work experience combined with my training. Most recently worked in Woolworths
Supermarket Karalee for 3 years in a variety of positions including Bakery, Deli and mostly front end
Customer Service Assistant / Cashier. Prior to that working as the Business Manager and Staff
Supervisor and Administration with Corporate Linen Hire and Wash ‘n’ Line Laundry Services. In
these roles I successfully demonstrated my ability to carry out the following core responsibilities:
 Provided professional and efficient reception and administration services, including
faxing, filing, phone, mail, banking / money handling and customer service.
 Demonstrated excellent planning and organisation skills.
 Provided excellent customer service.
 Demonstrated sound problem solving skills, including in the relation to identifying new
economic, cost saving procedures.
 Enforced and practiced applicable OH&S procedures, including in the handling and use of
dangerous chemicals.

Recently I have completed the study and achieved the Certificate III in Business Administration. I
am enthusiastic in continuing my education in learning and training courses to continuously
