Classical homeopathy views disease as a symptom of an energetic disturbance within a person rather than an isolated condition. It aims to fully restore health by treating the whole person through individualized microdoses that stimulate the body's natural healing abilities. Key principles of homeopathy include treating like with like based on a person's unique symptoms, considering health as adaptability and vitality, and curing illnesses from within outwards and from top to bottom. Homeopathy continues to show effectiveness in clinical studies for treating complex chronic conditions.

Homeopathy:
Homeopathic medicine is a whole medical system that originated in Europe and has been practiced in the United States since the early 19th century. Homeopathy is based on three principles: Like Cures Like, Minimum Dose, Individualized Therapy. We will cover the basic tenets of homeopathy and how to integrate homeopathic remedies for safe and effective child care.
This presentation was prepared by Dr. Abdul Nasir to be presented to the Kabul Medical University. The purpose of this presentation was to introduce the Homeopathic Medical System in Afghanistan for the first time.

The presentation provides an appraoch evaluation of symptoms, the treatment and the treatment principle.
The rightly selected sweet pill can become a panacea in Homoeopathy.
Does our personality determine the diseases we get? Are some personalities 'sicker' than others? According to Classical Homeopathy, there is a definite link between your personality, attitudes, behaviour & disease. And making this link is 'Miasms', the key to understanding the human condition - including predisposition towards disease. More@www.mindhealhomeoclinic.blogspot.com

New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection
The prostate is an exocrine gland of the male mammalian reproductive system
It is a walnut-sized gland that forms part of the male reproductive system and is located in front of the rectum and just below the urinary bladder
Function is to store and secrete a clear, slightly alkaline fluid that constitutes 10-30% of the volume of the seminal fluid that along with the spermatozoa, constitutes semen
A healthy human prostate measures (4cm-vertical, by 3cm-horizontal, 2cm ant-post ).
It surrounds the urethra just below the urinary bladder. It has anterior, median, posterior and two lateral lobes
It’s work is regulated by androgens which are responsible for male sex characteristics
Generalised disease of the prostate due to hormonal derangement which leads to non malignant enlargement of the gland (increase in the number of epithelial cells and stromal tissue)to cause compression of the urethra leading to symptoms (LUTS

MANAGEMENT OF ATRIOVENTRICULAR CONDUCTION BLOCK.pdfJim Jacob Roy
Cardiac conduction defects can occur due to various causes.
Atrioventricular conduction blocks ( AV blocks ) are classified into 3 types.
This document describes the acute management of AV block.
Lung Cancer: Artificial Intelligence, Synergetics, Complex System Analysis, S...Oleg Kshivets
RESULTS: Overall life span (LS) was 2252.1±1742.5 days and cumulative 5-year survival (5YS) reached 73.2%, 10 years – 64.8%, 20 years – 42.5%. 513 LCP lived more than 5 years (LS=3124.6±1525.6 days), 148 LCP – more than 10 years (LS=5054.4±1504.1 days).199 LCP died because of LC (LS=562.7±374.5 days). 5YS of LCP after bi/lobectomies was significantly superior in comparison with LCP after pneumonectomies (78.1% vs.63.7%, P=0.00001 by log-rank test). AT significantly improved 5YS (66.3% vs. 34.8%) (P=0.00000 by log-rank test) only for LCP with N1-2. Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: phase transition (PT) early-invasive LC in terms of synergetics, PT N0—N12, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells- CC and blood cells subpopulations), G1-3, histology, glucose, AT, blood cell circuit, prothrombin index, heparin tolerance, recalcification time (P=0.000-0.038). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and PT early-invasive LC (rank=1), PT N0—N12 (rank=2), thrombocytes/CC (3), erythrocytes/CC (4), eosinophils/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), segmented neutrophils/CC (8), stick neutrophils/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10); leucocytes/CC (11). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (area under ROC curve=1.0; error=0.0).
CONCLUSIONS: 5YS of LCP after radical procedures significantly depended on: 1) PT early-invasive cancer; 2) PT N0--N12; 3) cell ratio factors; 4) blood cell circuit; 5) biochemical factors; 6) hemostasis system; 7) AT; 8) LC characteristics; 9) LC cell dynamics; 10) surgery type: lobectomy/pneumonectomy; 11) anthropometric data. Optimal diagnosis and treatment strategies for LC are: 1) screening and early detection of LC; 2) availability of experienced thoracic surgeons because of complexity of radical procedures; 3) aggressive en block surgery and adequate lymph node dissection for completeness; 4) precise prediction; 5) adjuvant chemoimmunoradiotherapy for LCP with unfavorable prognosis.

Classical Homeopathy For Everyone
1. Classical Homeopathy: A Thinking Person’s Medicine A Very Brief Presentation for Lay Audiences
2. WE STAND AT A CROSSROADS IN TERMS OF OUR UNDERSTANDING OF DISEASE AND CURE.
3. The Legacy of 100 Years of Industrialized, Corporate Medicine: Substituting Chronic for Acute Disease http:// www.youtube.com/watch?v =Ny3BNnQWh5k
4. 1/110 children now have autism. That is over a 6000% increase since the early 1970’s. Gardasil is causing problems in 20 states. Authorities are refusing to investigate. STATISTICS
6. We have to start seeing the effect of culture and media on our emotional and physical states. We have to become accountable for how we think and feel. We have to look at alternatives openly and honestly.
7. Which means we need to see medicine and ourselves differently. We have to see the interconnectedness of everything in the world and to understand ourselves as energetic beings.
9. Our culture facilitates the idea that we can make things better (read: safer, prettier, more successful etc…) by being more beautiful, snipping off parts of our bodies, or having more “stuff.” Disease to a homeopath is a symptom of an energetic disturbance. It does not exist independent of the man. It cannot be cured by suppressing it, cutting it out, or covering it up. Think of a balloon…if we blow it up and squeeze, the air just shoves itself over to a side. Squeeze it enough and it pops. We cannot cure a disease by getting rid of its symptoms.
13. Proper discharge and ultimate cure— the full restoration of health and vitality to the human being. What is health to a homeopath? Adaptability Vitality (a will to live and love) Integrity of Function (consistency along all levels)
14. The vital force : the spirit-like life force that enlivens the material organism as dynamis, governs without restriction and keeps all parts of the organism in admirable, harmonious, vital operation as regards both feelings and functions, so that our indwelling, rational spirit can freely avail itself of this living, healthy instrument for the higher purpose of our existence. Samuel Hahnemann The Organon, 9
15. THE POTENTIZED DOSE. Homeopathic medicines are substances that are diluted and succussed (shaken) over and over until they are properly “potentized” energetically. They are available in tincture or pellets.
16. NEWS ITEM Those little bottles you see hold more than you thought according to a recent study by Nobel Prize Winner, Luc Montagnier, a French virologist who co-discovered HIV. They demonstrated that bacterial DNA sequences were able to induce electromagnetic waves at high aqueous dilutions. The aqueous solutions were agitated and serially diluted (potentized!). The electromagnetic signature changed with dilution levels but was unaffected even when the DNA fragments were destroyed. This study was reported in Interdisciplinary Sciences: Computational Life Sciences, 1: 81- 90 This means: Water has memory and can retain the energetic signature of a substance even when that substance itself is gone. These micro-doses are used to stimulate the individuals vital force to help heal itself.
17. HOMEOPATHIC MEASURES OF PRACTICE. 1. Interior Function 2. Exterior Function 3. Physiological Function 4. Spiritual Function A person who is not healthy on these levels is not considered cured.
18.
19. THREE LEVELS OF DISEASE: Psoric - inflammatory Sycotic - hardening Syphilitic - destruction
20. THE COURSE OF HEALING: Hering’s Law Takes disease from inside out, from top down, and from the present to the past.
21. The Manner of Healing: Like Cures Like or… The Law of Similars.
22. The Law of Similars This is the cornerstone of all good medicine and can be traced back to Hippocrates in 400 BC and Paracelsus in 1600 CE. It was brought back to life by Samuel Hahnemann more than 200 years ago when he repeatedly ingested quinine and found that it caused in him all the symptoms of Malaria without the actual disease. He determined that that “like” process, that law of similars, is why quinine was able to cure Malaria. Thus began his exploration into the healing properties of hundreds of substances using a technique he called “proving.” The simplest example of this law is something we do everyday. When you get grease on your hands, how do you clean it? With soap, which is made of fat.
23. A BRIEF HISTORY OF HOMEOPATHY: “ Idiots & Sons of Mongrels” Hahnemann was a passionate man and an extraordinary genius with little tolerance for the foolishness and stubbornness of his day. He called the physicians who used cupping and bleeding as forms of treatment “Idiots and sons of mongrels.” He could not tolerate the practices they called medicine and gave it up as he developed the system we now call classical homeopathy. In the meantime, he supported his family by translating medical texts from a multitude of different languages.
24. This is the medicine of Hahnemann’s day. And if they weren’t draining patients of blood, they were using purgatives and caustic agents to suppress anything they saw.
25.
26. What You Can Expect to be Asked in A Proper Assessment. What Hurts? “ Never Been Well Since” Modalities—worse/better? Dreams!! Dreams are longings that lead to the state of the spirit. Causes and Vows (never been well since) Character, location, laterality Aggravation or Amelioration Strange, rare and peculiars
27. What Else A Homeopath Looks For: Physical Generals “ Ailments From” Sleep patterns Tendency to growths (profusion vs. introversion) The Will (love, hate, emotions, vitality) Understanding & Intellect
