In urban areas, income, education, and age were statistically significant factors, while in rural areas income, dependency ratio, employment status, and age were significant. On average, urban households had higher monthly incomes and savings than rural households.

determinants of Intrahousehold income inequalityiqbaljaveduol
Inequality has emerged at macro level but by finding the solutions of the problem our debate comes to the micro level. By exploring the root causes of income inequality at micro level we cannot ignore the role of a household head for effective planning for their children. The purpose of this study is to estimate the income inequality of households and to find the impact of the most relevant factors on the income inequality at a household level. The data about 400 household including 2266 individuals is extracted from the Household Integrated Economic Survey (HIES) which is conducted in 2015-16 under special survey namely Household Integrated Income and Consumption Survey.
This approach to family welfare analysis is a new dimension may become controversial as the hypothesized explanatory variables mostly belongs to household head who has decision making powers, as the determinants of intra-household inequality. The significance of most of the variables shows some reality that household head in some way become the reason of intra-household inequality. Though some results are not according to expectations such as negative relationship of intra-household inequality and household size but this is trending result as a positive sign towards more sharing and cooperation within a family. The positive relationship between number of females and within family inequality is a call for sound policies to reduce gender gap and get women into mainstream economy. The fall in occupations such as farming and livestock sector and other elementary occupations are also becoming the reason of intra-household inequality which needs policy maker’s attention.

2) Literacy rates were highest for cultivator households (69.31%) and lowest for agricultural labor households (43.3%). Agricultural labor households also had the highest school dropout rates (64%).
3) Expenditure elasticities showed that items like pulses, milk,

This document summarizes previous research on factors that impact recycling rates in Canada from 2002-2012. Several studies found that policies like pay-as-you-throw programs and access to curbside pickup positively influence recycling rates. Demographic factors like income, age, education, and household size were also found to correlate with recycling rates in some analyses. However, one study of Ontario municipalities found no significant relationship between spending on recycling promotion/education and recycling rates.
Influence of Socio Economic Factors on Access and Retention of Learners in Pu...ijtsrd
Since the introduction of FPE, the concern by the Government of Kenya and other stakeholders in education has been education access and retention. This study sought to investigate the influence of socio economic factors on access and retention of learners in public primary schools in Turkana West Sub County. The study was guided by Classical Liberal Theory of Equal Opportunity and Social Darwinism. Exploratory research design was adopted in this study. The study targeted 36 head teachers, 201 teachers, 13221 parents and 22028 pupils from public primary schools in Turkana west Sub County bringing the total population to 35486 people. Stratified sampling was used to select 393 pupils while purposive sampling was used to select 12 teachers, 12 parents and 12 head teachers from the sampled schools. The research instruments used for data collection consisted of questionnaires and interview schedules. The instruments were validated. Piloting of the instruments was conducted in two primary schools in the neighboring sub county Loima sub county each of the instrument yielded a reliability coefficient of above 0.7 using the split half technique. Questionnaires were used to collect quantitative data from pupils while interview schedules were used to collect qualitative data from teachers, parents and head teachers. Data collected was cleaned, coded and then entered into SPSS version 22.0 for analysis. Quantitative data was analysed using frequencies and percentages while qualitative data was presented in prose in accordance to the study objectives. The study adhered to all ethical considerations in research to ensure that the results are not jeopardized. The study found that socio economic factors have a significant positive influence on access and retention of learners in public primary schools in Turkana West Sub County. 1) The paper presents a probability analysis of slope stability using the Monte Carlo simulation method to account for uncertainty in parameters like pore water pressure, cohesion, and internal angle of friction.
2) The results of the Monte Carlo simulation method are compared to other recognized methods of slope stability analysis like Bishop simplified, Fellenuis, Janbu simplified and corrected, Spencer and Lowe-Karafiath which use limit equilibrium.
3) The probability analysis finds that the failure probability is most affected by the standard deviation of pore water pressure, cohesion, internal angle of friction, and correlation coefficient between parameters, though individual limit equilibrium methods only account for one of these parameters in each analysis.
This document summarizes an abstract from the 9th International Scientific Conference on Applied Sciences and Engineering. The abstract discusses some biochemical markers that can predict pre-eclampsia. It states that tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) directly damages vascular endothelial cells and increases endothelial permeability, which may result in secretion of vasoactive substances and increased vascular permeability and coagulation. This involvement of TNF-α in the pathogenesis of pre-eclampsia means it may identify patients at high risk for the condition and serve as a marker of severity. Preeclamptic women also have abnormal lipid metabolism and profiles due to pre-eclampsia, and this alteration in lipid metabolism may play a key role in developing symptoms.

THE SACRIFICE HOW PRO-PALESTINE PROTESTS STUDENTS ARE SACRIFICING TO CHANGE T...indexPub
The recent surge in pro-Palestine student activism has prompted significant responses from universities, ranging from negotiations and divestment commitments to increased transparency about investments in companies supporting the war on Gaza. This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.

Rural-Urban Household Saving Behavior: A Case Study of
District Chitral, Pakistan
Iftikhar Hussain1
Abstract
The main objective of the study is to find out the saving pattern between rural and
urban households of district Chitral in Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Accordingly, household in the city of Chitral have been selected for urban analysis,
while rural analysis is conducted in a village of Drosh. Based on a random sampling,
100 respondents were selected from each urban and rural area. Analysis is conducted
on the effect of major socio-economic and demographic variables on savings of the
households. The results reveal that income, employment status and age had positive
effect on the households’ saving while dependency ratio, education of the
household head and marital status have negative effect on the households’ saving
in both the regions. Income of the household, education, and age are found statistically
significant in urban area while in rural area, income, dependency ratio, employment
status, and age were statistically significant. The marital status found insignificant for
both urban and rural communities. Household monthly income as assumed was found
on an average higher vis-Ã -vis rural areas. Similar trends were found on expenditure
side in both communities. The main rationale behind high expenditure is because of
relatively high cost of education in the urban area due to existence of private sector in
the delivery of social services. Dependency ratio is found greater in rural area vis-Ã -
vis urban area. Thus, average per month saving was higher in urban area as
compared to rural area.
