PELAKSANAAN PENGAJARAN

                                                                      Pengetahuan/Kemahiran
                     Isi Kandungan
                                                                        yang perlu dikuasai
1. Induction Set 1. Students can relate the induction set with the topic
                                                         the teacher about to teach.

2. Definition of Computer System
 i. A computer system is defined as combination of i. Students can understand the definition of computer
components designed to process data and store system.
files. ii. Students can get the basic idea how a computer
ii. A computer system consists of four major operates.
hardware components : input devices, output
  devices, processor and storage devices.
iii. A computer system requires hardware, software,
and a user to fully function.

3. Meaning of input, processor, output, storage
- Input : any data or instructions that we enter into i. Students can understand the meaning on input,
the computer system for processing. processor, output and storage.
- Processor : the processing unit controls all
 activities within the system
- Storage : a location which data, instructions and
information are held for future use.
- Output : data that has been processed into a useful
 form, called information.

4. Information processing cycle
                                                        i. Students can get the main idea of the information
                                                         processing cycle.

Pengenalan :
                                                                                                Duration : 3 minutes
i. Teacher shows a 74 seconds video presentation. BBM : Video
ii. Students watch the video.
iii. Teacher switches off the video, then asks what do the students remember about the video.
iv. Students answer the question.
v. Teacher asks students to think what is the topic for this teaching and learning.
vi. One student can bring out the key word of the topic.

Perkembangan Pengajaran :
1. Teacher gives explaination on the topic for today - Computer Systems Duration : 10 minutes
2. Teacher devides students into 4 groups. BBM : Manila card,
3. Teacher wants the leader of each group to pick one of hardware from a paper bag. A4 papers, Mouse,
4. Each group has name now. Input, Output, Processor, and Storage Speaker, Processor,
5. Teacher gives an envelope and a Manila card to each group based on the hardware. Pendrive, Power
6. Each group is having a discussion to complete the definition of computer system on Point Slides
  on the Manila card.
7. The first group complete will get a present.

1. Students are still in their groups. Duration : 10 minutes
2. Teacher provides another Manila card. BBM : Mouse,
3. Teacher asks groups to complete the meaning of Input, Output, Processor and Speaker, Processor,
Storage respectively on the Manila card given to each group. Pendrive.
4. Each group defines it accordingly and present it to the whole class. Manila card,
5. Teacher asks other group to take the information from the presentation. A4 papers
6. Each group gets all the definition.

1. Students still in their groups. Time : 5 minutes
2. Teacher provides another Manila card. BBM : A4 papers,
3. Teacher wants each group to form an information cycle diagram on the Manila card. Manila card.
4. Each group shows their answer.
5. Teacher then takes all the Manila cards from each groups.

Penutup :
1. Teacher asks students to define the meaning of computer system. Time : 2 minutes.
2. 3 students with the corrrect answer will get present.
3. Teacher asks students to state the meaning of input, output, storage and processor
4. 4 students who can state the meaning of input, output, storage and processor respectively
 will get a present each.
5. Teacher asks students to draw the information processing cycle on the white board.
6. A student who draws the information processing cycle correctly will get a present.

Tugasan :
1. Teacher asks student to read next topic as homework.

Refleksi Kendiri :
Students give full of attention in every activity. However, teacher should make sure all students understand
the definition of every component in computer systems. The explanations and activities flow are quite fast.
Students’ activeness are quite hard to predict and sometimes quite hard to handle and teacher should
anticipate that.
