How do I round decimals??? Rounding decimals  Very similar to rounding whole numbers – the only difference is that there is a decimal point! Look at the digit to the right of where you are rounding If the digit is 4 or less, round down If the digit is 5 or more, round up
Rounding Decimals Round to the nearest hundredth 6.2 7 8 The number to the right of the 7 is an 8 8 is greater than five so I need to round up! The 2 becomes a 3 and everything else becomes a 0 6.278 rounded to the nearest hundredth equals 6.300
