Early Life Pizarro was born in Trujillo, Spain 1478 He never went to school there for he did not know how to read His parents never got married He had a father that fought in the Neopolitan wars and his mother was “normal” His family was poor Later his mom married someone else and Pizarro had several half brothers
Previous Experience As a living Pizarro herded pigs When he was 15 in 1502 he moved to the West Indies and lived with his dad’s brother It is said that his dad’s brother might of helped him in his expeditions but not completely sure
Exploration His 1st exploration was in 1509 The ship went to Panama City and stayed there In 1527 Pizarro made his own exploration down South America and had wars with the Incas until he captured the Inca king Incas wanted their king back If Pizarro got a room of gold & two times the amount of silver then he would give back the king
Results The Incas gave Pizarro what he wanted, but killed the king anyway He became the new king of Peru (where the Incas had lived) After Pizarro’s exploration Spain became the greatest country in the world The remaining Incas were converted to Catholicism
Conclusion Francisco Pizarro later traveled down to Lima and there he was murdered by the king’s son He died in 1541 Pizarro was not given a proper burial, he was left in Peru Pizarro is now remembered as a bad man because he killed innocent people like children and women
