This chapter outlines the methodology used in the study. A descriptive research design was used to determine the math performance levels of third year BSMT and BSMAR-E students at VMA Global College in the first semester of 2011-2012. The respondents were 400 third year students who were randomly selected using proportional sampling. Data was collected through a self-administered questionnaire that was validated by 3 jurors and found to be "very good".
