The document promotes edcamps, which are participant-driven professional development conferences for K-12 educators where anyone can present on a topic of their choice in an informal setting, as a way to revolutionize professional development; it provides an overview of the history and growth of edcamps since the first one in 2009; and it encourages educators to consider hosting an edcamp at their own school to promote learner-centered, knowledge-centered, assessment-centered, and community-centered professional learning.
