This document discusses a project to ensure sustainable access to drinking water from springs in Nepal and India. The project will monitor springs, study spring hydrogeology, build capacity through training, develop spring management protocols, and implement solutions. It aims to create a spring atlas, study the impact of recharge on springs, engage women in management, and mainstream spring hydrogeology. The goal is to provide affordable, sustainable water while better understanding groundwater and springs in mountain areas with sparse existing data.
