• Completed the End to End execution of OFC Network rollout in Noida cluster for 152

• Liaison with owners / neighbors to sort out issues/ problems created by owners / neighbors /
thefts or any other contractual, legal issues faced by owners escalated by OME Vendors.
• Control theft cases in consultation with security agency employed for the site as well as take
police support in case matter is not resolved
• Analyse high power & diesel consumption sites. Take remedial measures to control high
consumption of diesel & power.
• Ensure site running expenses are controlled (part of Operating Expenses) and remain within
budget for assigned circle.
• Daily monitoring of various expenses through structured reports, analysis of reports is done and
then the action plan is prepared to reduce expenses.
• Ensuring No disconnection of EB because of the non-payment of bills. Check & verify bills of
diesel fillers as per standards of diesel consumption & process for timely payments from the
finance.
• Regularly interact with vendors, their supervisors and field teams to ensure all quality and
regulatory guidelines are followed by them
• Weekly / Monthly reviews & meetings with vendors/OPCO’s to resolve different operational
issue. Key performance indicators sheets signoff with OPCO’s on monthly basis as per
schedule.

Job Responsibilities:-
To provide for uninterrupted & smooth services in our cluster by ensure all network elements &
infrastructure keep operating on 24x7 basis with “Zero” downtime thereby having a better control over
operational cost of electricity, utilities & infra, smooth co-ordination with different vendors & field staff.
Utility:-
• Ensure site uptime as per circle KPI’s.
• Review process of PM & breakdown maintenance activities for efficient working of infra
facilities.
• Review and analyze the outages, carry out a root cause analysis and draw action plans with
timelines to eliminate outages. Review and analyze the repeated failure cases & take
immediate corrective and preventive actions to avoid any repeated failure. Ensure optimum
deployment of resources for minimum MTTR incases of any breakdown.
• Ensure availability of enough tools, measuring instruments and equipments to carry out O&M
activities effectively.
• Develop vendors for proper PM and faster resolution of infra issues as per agreed SLA.
Develop processes for monitoring and control of vendor performance through proper validation
of activities carried out by vendor.
• Coordination with SCM & Finance team for AMC, R&M activities, Vendor payments, Access
issues resolution and replacement procurements.
• Understand, track and ensure faster customer issues resolutions of potential landlord problems
like electricity bill payments, lease agreements/extensions, type of site infrastructure etc for an
impressive record of productivity and responsiveness.
• Ensure proper house keeping & facility maintenance of all the sites under his geography.
• Operating expense control. The major chunk of this cost is Diesel & Electricity expense. It is
being controlled thru implementation of certain daily monitoring systems & ensuring vendors
follow the guidelines given by us.

• Maintaining the OSP equipments such as DG, SMPS, Battery Banks, UPS, PAV, SEB supply
system. LT and HT panel, Transformer at MCN location. Maintaining 4 MSC’s, 1 BSC’s in
addition to 445 Nos of CDMA/GSM BTS sites and NLD, BTS, POI & OFC route network.
• Arranging technical training programs (in-house / external) to the team members for improving
their competencies.
• Contractor billing in SAP by making service entry. Making GRN, MIN, and OGP in SAP at
Maintenance point. Liaison with vendor for all CAMC related services. Review of all power &
fuel bills, site wise analysis & corrective action.
• Ensure the training to Maintenance Point subordinate staff about safety and work procedure.
• Complete working knowledge of MS-Office, SAP & Clarity.
• Responsible for timely availability & inventory management of all materials, spares,
consumables like diesel, lubricants, cleaning materials, special tools like splicing machine,
OTDR, talk set, etc, calibration of these instruments, repair of tools from OEMs, etc.
Optical Fiber Cable (OFC):-
• Responsible for all the O&M activities of OFC networks, utilities and its associated elements
MCN, IS, BTS under the maintenance point scope. Responsible to carry out OFC fault analysis,
issuing recommendations, upgrading the systems following technology improvement, providing
technical support to MM & preparation of MIS etc.
• Corrective & preventive action to rectify the root cause of non conformance to ensure the
quality & reliable services. Planning for optimum utilization of resources (Men, Material &
machines).
• Controlling & monitoring of the route surveillance activity to ensure 100% network availability.
• Responsible for coordination with ROW & NHAI/SH authorities, Liaison with State Govt.
department officials of Irrigation, SEB, PWD, & Municipal Corporations etc. for obtaining
necessary approvals to carry out the O&M activities.
• To ensure network availability as per business requirement by minimizing fibre cuts, ensuring
continuous power supply to sites and optimum uses of available resources.
• Liaison with BSNL & other Telco for all POI related activities. Control no. of faults and MTTR
within targets.
Bharti Airtel Services Limited Delhi Circle (28-June-2004 to 13-July- 2007):-
