Summary:
As a Small Business Banker, I am responsible for building and growing relationships with
businesses in the Preferred Small Business Customer segment within an assigned Trade Area.
The roles main responsibility is to develop new deposit, treasury, merchant services and credit
relationships for the Bank. It also includes growing and cross-selling a client portfolio within the
Preferred customer segment. My position is the key advisor for the customer segment client. The
Small Business Banker proactively sources NEW preferred segment small business customers,
utilizing the tools and resources provided to them in an effort to acquire Primary Bank
Relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the company's relationships with contacts/customers to grow and cross
sell new business.
• Maintain a regular calling program on customers and prospects in the Preferred Customer
Segment in order to generate high quality new deposit, loans, TM, MS and Credit Card business
in order to achieve or exceed specific production goals.
• Meet with existing customers and prospects in the Preferred Customer segment through
personal calling efforts and other contacts to discuss business needs and recommend ways in
which the bank can help provide business solutions and financial needs.
• Assist in planning existing customer deposit growth and cross sales.
