Here is a list of the 10 HR policies which companies need to do away with ASAP to avoid employee frustration. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed making it.
We recently worked with a audit firm to develop a risk assessment report for their client. We worked with a US based startup in the dental EHR space. While the client's primary presentation had all the information, we helped him sharpen his storyline as well as created a presentation which looked high-tech.
We worked closely with a Middle Eastern consulting practice develop their practice document. The intention was to keep it in line with consulting design practice. Given the extent of information, we created a customized slide size. Additionally, the design was done in a manner such that once printed, the document could be shared as a "book" with prospective clients.
We recently worked with a senior recruiter who was in the process of starting his own recruitment agency. The intention was to create a minimalist presentation which communicated the key messages in a succinct but visually attractive manner and we therefore adopted an infographic look to the whole design. The presentation was delivered, as always, in less than 48 hours.
We recently supported a mid sized HR consulting firm develop their consulting value proposition document. Given that the business was in a nascent stage of branding, we even recommended a color palette and create a presentation template as part of our work
Wasting valuable resources in unproductive and inefficient meetings can be one of the biggest avoidable costs for any business.
This Meetings Toolkit has been complied to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Meetings with tools and templates designed using direct feedback from many different businesses about the structure and culture of meetings.
The kit contains:
1. Powerpoint presentation on the why and how to improve meetings
2. Three Excel templates to assist:
1. Agenda Template
2. Meeting Log
3. Meeting Scorecard
These will help deliver better desired outcomes, making meetings work harder for you and more efficient meetings translates into less time spent in meetings.
We worked with a Boston based information technology consulting firm to develop their corporate presentation. Given that the document would be shared primarily via email or printouts we were asked to keep it under 15 slides whilst ensuring that the key information was not lost in the design process.
We recently supported a US based technology company develop their corporate presentation. The intent was to create an infographic look in line with the industry standards.

Look Before You Leap: A 2-Part Webinar Series For Professionals With One Foot...Ivy Exec
Part I of the webinar: “Motherhood Guilt or Job Dissatisfaction?” will…
• help you decide if your thoughts about leaving the workforce are your own, or are influenced by others.
• include a provocative discussion exploring whether motherhood “guilt” is well-founded or whether you have unrealistic expectations for balancing work and life..
• help you evaluate more deeply why you work and how you would replace your work drivers at home. And,
• give you a clear framework for deciding if it is perception or reality for you, that the grass is indeed greener on the other side.
For many women, a large factor in the “stay or go” decision is whether an alternative work structure is even possible. Part II of the webinar will help you “Exhaust Your Flexible Work Options.” Too many women assume flexibility is not an option or leave after one casual “ask.” This webinar discussion will help you determine if your job is a candidate for full or partial telecommuting, and how to make a professional case for flexibility. Looking beyond your current job, you’ll also learn where to look for other, more flexible opportunities and if an entrepreneurial venture would fit your work and broader life styles.

Heaven or Hype Recruiting Through Social Media Ivy Exec and Human Capital Ins...Ivy Exec
The only constant is change. In this webinar, we will briefly examine key macro trends impacting executive recruitment. Global talent shortages, increased mobility, and technological & social media advances demand new recruiting strategies for a new era.
Through new recruiting models, new technologies and social networking, there are tools available to attract, recruit and retain high quality mid through senior level executive talent. We will drill down to examine the traditional recruiting model and why the new recruiting model has now supplanted it.
Five Critical Trends Forcing The Adoption Of The New Recruiting Model:
1. Global and domestic economic influences have led to pricing pressures.
2. Multi-position demands and time urgencies have altered recruiting needs.
3. Organizations are internalizing their executive search functions.
4. The rise of social media has changed the platforms available and the very nature of recruiting.
5. Organizations of any size can succeed in the ‘war for talent’ with the new recruiting model

Bury the lead
Repeat the same accomplishment in different places (even if stated
differently)
Use too much jargon (enough about “verticals”)
Write
“Global” all over the place (examples of work in named countries will
convey it better)
Give too much text/context (save it for the interview)
Take your accomplishments out of the jobs in which they occurred
