This document describes the implementation of MyReadingLab, an online reading program, into a developmental reading course at Harford Community College. The course previously struggled with high failure rates and inefficient exam processes. After integrating MyReadingLab into class time, student post-test scores increased from 66% to 74% and completion rates increased from 91% to 98%. Based on these positive results, all sections of the developmental reading course will be held in computer labs starting in the fall to fully utilize MyReadingLab.
