Today I witnessed my first euthanasias that weren t of my own pets. It s definitely weird, when they
are not your animals, and you aren t really necessary for the procedure to occur.
The first was a dumbo rex rat named Cheese with a tumor that weighed more than he did. His owners
loved him greatly but understood it was his time, as he could no longer move away from his own urine
and poop.
If you ve ever put an animal down, dog, cat, you might think you know how it goes, but it s different
with exotics. For one we take them back. First, we ask if the owner wants any time alone with them,
then we take them back to the surgery room. Cheese s owners had already said goodbye so we proceed
to step two.
Step two is to put the animal under anesthesia, this is where exotics is different besides the fact that
we take them away from their owner. I suppose if the owner insisted we would allow them to come
back, but it can be traumatic for the owner with exotics. Exotic animals have to be put under
anesthesia because the medication that stops their heart is given directly into the heart, through the
chest wall, as opposed to intravenously (through a vein). Obviously seeing a needle go into your
animal s chest would be traumatic, so this is one reason why owners don t come back, but another is

In Little Snow White by Germany, Jacob, and Wilhelm Grimm, there is a Queen who becomes jealous
of her seven year old daughter. She envied her daughter s beauty and sends a huntsman to kill Snow
White. Snow White is then all alone and unable to care for herself and becomes dependent of the
Seven Dwarfs. Although she is the main character, she is also the weakest character in the story. In
Fables, we encounter a very different Snow White. Here Snow White oversees the town, Fabletown.
Unlike the original fairytale story, there are no Dwarfs looking after her. She doesn t need a Prince to
come to her rescue because she is the hero in her own right. Her fierceness makes her a strong female
who embodies power. Unlike the Little Snow White, in Fables Snow White is the head in charge, she s
independent, and bold. Snow White is the head in charge who runs a town called Fabletown. She still
needs to run things by the Mayor but overall, she is the face of Fabletown. Others come to her with
their problems in hopes of a solution. Contrary to the Snow White we know from the original
fairytales where Snow White is not in charge of anything and no one comes to her for solutions.
Instead, she has the seven dwarfs looking out for her. For example, when the queen tried to kill her
they said, It must have been the queen who tried to kill you, take care, and do not let anyone in again
(Germany, Jacob, and Wilhelm Grimm). This shows pity on the dwarf s behalf because they knew she
was unable to care for herself. However, in Fables, Snow White is now the one looking out for others.
For example, Beauty and the Beast come to Snow White for help with their marriage. Although, Snow
White was not able to give them a solution, she was now on the opposite end of the table unlike the
young and naïve Snow from the fairytale who sought others for her problems. Fables shows a great

It made really made me think if what the characters are doing morally wrong. Both cops handle justice
a different way and no one taught Jake that the world is cruel, and twisted. This eventually causes the
climactic intense ending, and will keep your eyes glued to the screen. Although I enjoy this movie
there is somethings that could be better. For instance the movie has a slow start. I m not going to lie, I
did skip a bit to the ride along, for it was boring. I also would make a scene more believable, but I
digress because if it was the movie wouldn t be able to continue. Overall this movie contained major
keys to make it interesting. I love rated R movies because they are actually interesting and keep me in
the edge of my seat. If this movie wasn t as blunt as it is I probably wouldn t like it. Usually I would
recommend R movies to 10 and up, but I saw it before when I was younger. I had no idea what was
going on, and I didn t understand the message it was sending. So I would probably recommend it to 14

A brutal mix of manipulation, affairs, fear, and death, the play Hedda Gabler is a fine example of
unhappiness in marriage and self. The author, Henrik Ibsen, creates a scenario which highlights the
faults of his main character, Hedda Tesman, showing the audience where her true priorities lie.
Throughout the play Hedda s character begins to regress, obsessively trying to gain control over those
around her by plotting characters against each other and skillfully manipulating them. Devolving into
a caged manic when she is unable to get her ways, she becomes trapped in a marriage that brings out

Have we always known the distinct characteristics of North American currency? The dollar bills and
coins we use today have been through many changes in appearance and value. Paper and metals have
been the appearance of most currency. The change of currency went through early colonial period,
