RedTacton is a human area networking technology that uses the human body as a transmission path for data. It works by using the electric field emitted by the human body and can achieve duplex communication at speeds up to 10 Mbps. RedTacton has receivers and transceivers that can initiate communication through touch and transmit data as electric fields are generated through natural body movements and interactions. It provides a more secure alternative to other short-range wireless technologies like Bluetooth and infrared.
