This document discusses how the author took professional-looking photographs for a pop magazine using a photography studio setup with a white backdrop and screen, as well as high-key lighting and a Canon camera. This allowed the photos to look like those produced by top companies. Using a white backdrop also allowed the text on the front page to stand out and be easily viewed. Considering professional magazine photo conventions, the author shot images on a white screen and edited in a light blue background in Photoshop. This made the band featured stand out against the plain background due to their brightly colored clothing.
