Hello everyone! I am thrilled to present my latest portfolio on LinkedIn, marking the culmination of my architectural journey thus far. Over the span of five years, I've been fortunate to acquire a wealth of knowledge under the guidance of esteemed professors and industry mentors. From rigorous academic pursuits to practical engagements, each experience has contributed to my growth and refinement as an architecture student. This portfolio not only showcases my projects but also underscores my attention to detail and to innovative architecture as a profession.
2. Magazine Name
• I have decided to call my
magazine ‘Hot Pop’. This is
because the name is catchy as it
is short therefore it would be
memorable for the audience.
3. Magazine Name Font
• The chosen font with the white circles in the middle of
each letter can be perceived to look like multiple spot
lights pointing at you. This resembles the music pop
genre as it is mainly about celebrities which have lights
and cameras flashing at them all the time.
4. Sub-Heading Fonts
• I decided to use 2 fonts for my sub-headings. These fonts will
vary depending on the pages. These 2 fonts are relevant and
more professional for a music magazine therefore I think they
are best to use.
• I got both of my fonts from the website ‘DaFont’ as it is a free
website where you can get different fonts. My first font is
called ‘Prisma’ whereas my second font is ‘Varsity’.
5. Colours
• I have chosen 4 different colours which will be my
dominant colours for my pop music magazine.
• These colours consist of pink, purple, blue and black.
• The pink, purple and blue will be fairly light as my
magazine needs to be upbeat and eye-catching.
• There may also be hints of yellow throughout the
magazine as that also seems to be a popular colour.
6. I have chosen the colour light pink as
it seems to be a popular colour for
pop music magazines which people
are interested in. Pink will not be my
main colour as there are too many
magazines with a main colour of pink
so mine will be different. Light pink is
very eye catching for the audience.
I have also chosen the colour light
purple because again, it is a
popular colour. The lightness of the
purple represents an upbeat and
calm mood. Purple will most likely
be my main colour.

7. I have also chosen light blue because
although light blue isn't on many
magazines, it also represents an
upbeat and calm mood which the
audience will be interested in. The
light blues will vary throughout my
front cover and insides.
Black is another colour I will be
using because it suggests a bold
kind of colour which will attract
an audience to see it. For
example the masthead on the
front, with the bright colours with
a black bold title it will be very
eye catching which is what is
wanted.

8. Lighting
• As my location in which I was taking the photos was
Ashridge and we are going in the middle of the day, it
meant we would have natural light.
• Natural light gives a more realistic look for my photos
and it makes the models stand out more.
• The lighting was lighter and darker depending on
where we were in Ashridge however it was still light
enough to highlight the models.
9. Makeup
• The makeup in which we
decided to have for my models
was natural makeup. This was
so it wasn’t too over the top
and it fit with the kind of look
we were going for.
• When creating a pop music
magazine, the makeup doesn’t
want to stand out too much as
the whole picture should be
the main focus.
10. Hair
• My models hair is going to be
like this but possibly a little
straighter. This picture is just
an example as I could not find
an exact replica. However, I
have decided on this type of
hair as I think it suits girls
better and it would look
better in general.
11. Costume
• These are the outfits
which all of my models
are wearing. They are all
similar with their black
jeans and they are all
wearing coats. This gives a
look which most young-
ish people wear so it is
popular with everyone.
